I met Andrea at the party in Oakland! She knows how to chill and have fun! Extremely friendly and easy to spend time with!

I had great time when I was staying at Andrea's place with my friend Elina! She is funny and just crazy...And I mean it in a good way :) Even though she was very busy with the studies etc at that time, she still had time to do things with us and show us around...And she made the most delicious pancakes for us!

I spent 5 days at Andrea's in Alameda and she's a great and helpful host, has a beautiful personality and it's just easy to make life so much funnier with Andrea :) Hope to see you some day in Finland!

 

ANDREA!!! Her profile picture -even though it's tough to recognize her- says it all: a crazy little human being. We didn't spend much time together in San Fran, yet she did show me around Alameda and took great care of me. Loved our bikeride and veggie corn dogs!! I'll be back in SF soon dear!

Andrea hosted me, my girlfriend Molly and even our cat Hecate when we visited the Bay Area. Andrea is an excellent host. She's a fun person to hang out with and extremely helpful as well. She prepared a delicious Ethiopian dinner for us and took me to a cool bar where Jack London used to hang out. Molly, Hecate and I enjoyed our stay with Andrea a lot and would not mind to see her again sometime.

Andrea is a good host and an enthusiastic traveler and Couchsurfer. She helped me with finding parking for my car while I was staying in San Fran. We never ate pancake-in-a-can but I think that I could have possibly enjoyed them.

I surfed Andrea's couch in Alameda with my boyfriend and cat for a few days. She is a great host and told lots of funny/crazy stories about her extensive travels. She also showed us some awesome photos, and gave us some great tips about the Bay Area! I would highly reccomend her as a person, guest, or host, to anyone.

andrea is such a wonderfully person, me and my brother enjoyed staying with her a lot. she is pretty much into the cs community and it was a pleasure for us to join her to the cs potluck in berkley.
her flat is realy nice aswell as her flatmates. thx for a wonderfull weekend at east bay!

 

Andrea is funny and have great sense of humor!!!!!! she is very smart about health and travel.

Andrea is a nice girl you can trust. She was a great host although she was very busy. Hopefully we get to see her again. She's welcome to visit us in Germany anytime.

Andrea rocks - great organizer, has gotten her feet wet quickly in the bay area and already is one of the most active local surfers. I see her often and it's always a pleasure!

Andrea is like the East Bay couchsurfing mama! She is super friendly, fun, outgoing,and hospitable. She's also very resourceful and give you some good health advice!

I wish I could say that I couchsurfed with Andrea in some far-off land and we hanglided off of waterfalls and stuff. We merely hung out in Oakland; which still rocks!! We looked at overpriced artwork. Yea!!!!!

 

We did enjoy Pillow fight but I couldn't see her because over 1,000 people there.She tell me sounds like fun art reception.I went to there.but I couldn't meet her.Finally we met at Potluck.Andrea is frinendly.and energetic.

Andrea is warm, and makes you immediately at ease with her. It was fun meeting her, and I would have loved to catch up at the Pilow fight (I couldn't find the spider statue!) and at the Vodka tasting event (well, it was raining!). I can't wait to meet her again and say "Hi"!

Andrea is a hilariously funny crazy girl! I met her at the CS potluck in SF last night and loved talking with her. She'll keep you laffing your ass off the entire time you talk to her! I do hope I get to meet her again someday.

I met Andrea at a CS meet in San Francisco and made sure that I was OK when I was stranded far from my hostel. We met up again the next day to join hundreds of others for a crazy street pillow fight. Lots of beers and chats. Andrea is a good Couchsurfer and knows how to do it.

Andrea organized a lovely little outing in Oakland to hit up some galleries. This girl is infused with the CS spirit! She had wild stories and enthusiasm for life to boot! I look forward to hanging out with her at other Bay Area events. See ya this weekend with pillow in hand!

my life was in this girl's hands all day driving around alameda... so of course i trust her! i got to see the sights and taste some raspberry liquor (highly recommended), and got the tour of the island and the beach. it was a lovely time! and definitely more to come. she gives great hugs. <3

 

We met at a party which was hosted by a Couchsurfer (Ty). She's a cool chick and has lots of great stories. We also did a photo shoot at my studio. She's great to shoot and we had a great time taking photos.

 

Andrea is a very outgoing, friendly person. She arranged a gathering of fellow couch surfers in the Colorado Springs area, but I think I was the only other couch surfer that showed up! We have since become workout buddies and she's definitely keeping me motivated!

I met Andrea (we have the same name) at her site in Western Ukraine. She is a great person and stellar volunteer. We crashed at an apartment together in Kiev and I got to hear about her couch-surfing adventures in Africa. Andrea has an awesome name and is a wonderful person

 

Andrea has had a ton of travel experience all over the place. Ask her about her two years in Ukraine, it sounds like it was a crazy place.

Andrea is one those people with positive energy that you really want to hang out with. Plus she has all kinds of crazy stories and scars from her travels. Great lady!

Andrea is a very colorful person smiling all the time. Having met on a train from Budapest to Bratislava, I was so glad to meet her and listen her fun Peacecorps stories...I wish we could hang out more!

I had a great time hiking in colorado springs with Andrea. Although we didn't find any bears we still got to see a hawk flying around with a rodent. We shared some great conversation and had a nice day together.

Andrea and I met because we were both in a short supply of friends in Colorado Springs, we are now pretty much inseparable.

She is a fantastic person and a great friend. I'm so thrilled that I met her and that couch surfing played a role in our meeting.

We were fun travel buddies in Guatemala and Belize :)
Plus, I probably had more fun on the bus ride with her than I could even imagine. I don't think I laughed that hard before on my whole trip!

Andrea and I met in Colorado Springs to chat. We found many common friends from Ukraine and I was very interested to learn about Andrea's Peace Corps experience. Andrea is an open, sincere, fun loving person and I felt very comfortable spending time with her. Hope to meet Andrea again :))

 

Andrea was my first couch surfer, and I'm glad it was her because it was such a positive experience. Laid back, great conversation, adaptable.

Andrea was very fun to be around and has many wonderful stories! She has been traveling lots and was more than willing to give me advice when planning my trips! Andrea is great! We immediately connected and had a great time hanging out in Dublin and in the place we were being hosted in. Being so lighthearted, easy going and always with a smile on her face, it was a real pleasure having her around!

Andrea is fun loving and an experienced couch surfer. She is very easy to get to know and have a good time with. She is easy going and has a good sense of humor. She pushed us to be spontaneous and grow as artists.

I only met Andrea briefly, but it was enough to know that once is not enough! She struck me as a really cool person to know, and gives a fine hug indeed.

Andrea is a cool person to hang out with. She gave me the speed tour of the British Museum and we went to a big CS gathering. She also helped me planning a picnic in London by coming with me to check out sites and venues for the after meetup. I saw that Andrea needed a couch for an event I was organising so I wrote and offered her mine. That was the best decision I've made in a long time! I liked her immediately when we met as she has a very good energy about her and I really enjoyed hearing about her adventures so far. She's a very considerate guest and I only wish we'd had a longer amount of time to spend together. Wow how can i even start. I met Andrea in Cape Town and we soon started traveling thru Africa together. I don't want to sound overly dramatic but it was deffinitly one of the highlights of my life. From swimming on beaches in the Transkei to pub crawling with donkeys in Lesotho to trading for stacks and stacks of money in zim to standing on the edge of victoria falls in Zambia we did everything together. Andrea is seriously a women in a million and i hope you have the fortune of meeting her.

Andrea and I set off on a two week adventure through Southern Africa after a chance meeting in Ukraine and a quick reuniting in Cape Town, and had a blast. Andrea has a great sense of humor, a love of food, and a constant taste for adventure. We also seem to have a knack for ending up in the same places while travelling. Hopefully that will continue :)

Possibly one of the coolest people you will ever meet. And don't forget to ask her for hum hum :)

JO! Andrea is fun and engaging. She's full of mind-boggling stories of life in Ukraine (like the crazy stalker guy!) and even more she survived as a vegetarian in Ukraine and more over Mzoli's in Gugulethu...we had good times in the house, down in Long Street, in the township and of course on the way to the township!

Andrea is down to earth and so funny. I felt comfortable with her very quickly. She was just really entertaining and wonderful to talk to. I hope I see her again, in America, Ukraine, or anywhere else. And I hope her bite marks have healed.

 

The answer for my first questions "What would you like to drink?" - was "Horilka" (Vodka). And now I can say for sure taht she IS Ukrainian girl. We had vodka, cognac, beer with crisps and a lot of fun. One more: Kolomiya is the place I’ll visit again for sure. Andrea! :) I met this Sunny Smile in Kolomyia. Our chat was so lively and funny at the same time... As I was just after a car accident and my injured lip hmm.. not in a joyful way occupied almost half of my face every time I had to inform her when I was smiling and when I was serious. ;) And what I liked in Andrea most of all is her talent to find any little excuse to be amused!! :)

 

Andrea was a perfect host.
Easy to talk to, easy to bullshit with, easy to drink with. She even had a real bed for me to sleep on. Plus, her town is beautiful and she genuinely adores it, which I think is pretty important. If you're really lucky, you might leave with a new nickname.

we first met in Kolomiya, and had nice funny evening in her apartment. it was so warm winter evening!

then she came to Kiev and was our guest. that was also cool, she prepared her Africa trip and inspired everyone with her trawellings.

Andrea likes to open her home to couch surfers, one night there were 6 of us in her one bedroom flat. It was a blast.
She showed me around her city and village, and really went out of her way for me when hosting, it amazing.

I completely agree with what Andrea said in my references about us. We really had the connection from the beginning! Andrea provided a warm shelter during winter in the friendly town Kolomiya. I quickly became interested in her Peace Corps experience, she sacrificed much to help the Ukrainian youth, preventing them from becoming 'gopniks'. She is talkative and trusting, the kind of company someone can be comfortable with instantly. Her flat was a strange portal into America, which will prove valuable when I return.

The first time i saw her in the same queue at the train station in Krakow together with her host and i thought: "she`s probably a couchsurfer"
One day it turned out that we bought a ticket for the same train and i was right, she's a couchsurfer and also a wonderful person. Thank`s for making the tainride less boring. And remeber, you are always welcome in Hamburg.

She was a great guest. Slept most of the time and washed some dishes that she didn't even dirty! I'm happy that she got to be our 2nd last guest here in Krakow!

She called me Afternoon and I went to pick here up from Bus Station, I met Andrea with her sister, they where very lovely and really nice people , We went to Oriental food restaurant and after they went to see a different places down town , after a few hours we met agian in (Al Rashid Court Cafe'- down town) , we had some coffee and we went to my place .The are really nice and I wished if they stayed more but they had to leave the day after to Petra. I would say that I wish to meet you again soon Andrea and Claudia , have a save and nice journey.

Andrea is a joy to hang out with and host. I've known her since the beginning of our journey in Peace Corps a year ago and you won't be disappointed if you host her. Always a funny story and an easy-going attitude.

I met Andrea at a seminar here in my oblast and then I went to visit her in western Ukraine. I can tell you that Andrea is a blast and she has a good heart. She's also a very experienced traveler.

Andrea is a crazy crazy wild woman in the best way possible! She is completely free of spirit, always interested in meeting new friends and learning about new cultures. My favorite recollections of her are clubbing, Sex and the City marathons, and walks in the park. This girl has more courage and indepdence than most people I know, and I bet she could tell you a thing or two about pretty much any hole-in-the-wall place you want to know about!

You will have fun with Andrea! Insane, crazy, laugh-out-loud fun. Her village smells like a village, and her house smells....weird. But, she is so entertaining that you will forget all about the smells (her room smells nice, its just the rest of the house...). I recommend a one night visit in the village followed by extended stay in Kolomyia and/or Frankivsk. If I am still in country, I will probably see you when you visit her!

She is so amiable and interesting to talk to. I passed about 24 hours on busses talking to her, she made the time go by so quickly. There are some people who you meet and you know you want to stay in contact with, and she is one of those. Can't wait until I hang out with her again. If you have the chance to host or just have coffee with her to hear her stories, jump on it.

We hosted Andrea and her sister, Claudia, for a couple of nights. They were great house guests, fun to be around, positive, interesting, adventurous and generally lovely, lovely people. Would not hesitate to host them again.

I had the pleasure of meeting both Andrea and her friend, Laurel, in Kiev. Great girls who are working for the Peace Core. We spent a weekend enjoying Indian food and snow. They speak Ukranian/Russian and are most helpful when trying to buy train tickets. So if you are ever in Ukraine get in touch with them.

Andrea is a Chipzees Goddess and she dances like a diva demon. Meeting her changed my life and I highly recommend the experience to anyone thinking about surfing with her. My only regret it that I couldn't hang out with her longer!

 

I hosted Andrea and her friend Laurel in Zhytomyr. Andrea's a lot of fun and can rock a dance floor! Host her!

 

There was a period of about a month where I had no place to live and Andrea was kind enough to let me stay at her place. Andrea is an open minded, outgoing person who smiles a lot. She is a great travel companion, and takes many interesting photographs.

Always welcome in the city of SIN... Andrea (and her friend Sara) were the perfect guests. They both were easy to talk to, charming and lots of fun. Andrea is one cool chick for sure.
