Hey Evelyn was amazingly nice and very good as a personal guide haha. The first night i got there I got all the information I needed from her and she gave me a map and all. The couchwas amazingly comfortable!!! Very very nice, helpful and fun as we went climbing up a hill outside of Vienna. It was awsome and if i wasnt going to bratislava and budapest after that I would have stayed longer haha. Don't forget to go to the opera for 1.50euros. high light of my trip. haha

it's hard to express my feelings about her hospitality and personality!
everything was just perfect, the dinners we had, the chai we drank! everything was dedicated to Couchsurfing and cultural exchange in her house. you can feel the spirit, it is there, in her heart and everywhere!

Evelyn is a very nice girl and host! I liked Vienna very much thanks to Evelyn as well I think. )) That month I and Zhenia passed through all Europe. And to say the truth Evelyn's couch was the best one!! One in all Europe!!!! =) I liked her stories! I want to India! :) We and Canadian Cliff had wonderful time in Vienna. Thanks a lot!

aaaaaah, I was just starting to fall in love with Vienna and then I had to leave. Thanks to Evelyn the marvellous dancing ambassador (if such title exists, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!)

I had very very much fun dancing with her - seriously I didn't know I could really dance to opera music or national anthems, but Evelyn taught me how ;)

Overall, she is an amazing soul... really an angel! If she opens up an Angel hostel somewhere, it would definitely come highly recommended! Until then, I am sure wherever she goes or anyone who visits her, it will be blessed with a positive energy!

Thanks also for teaching me about ambassadorship, I am really inspired to become an ambassador one day :D

Shared many, many, many stories, parties and gatherings together - too much to list them actually. In fact, she does not even need a reference... she is the person you will see organizing or participating in events, parties, dinners etc... she is (to put it simple) the person to meet/surf/host.

Evelyn seemed very open, honest, friendly, and genuine. She immediately opened up to us as soon as we began to inquire about CS. You can also tell a lot about someone by physical interaction and she was a great hugger. We definately hope to see her again the future, wherever our paths may cross.

Evelyn is a great host! We could only stay two days at her place coz our schedule was two tight (so many places to see and so little time). She is really friendly, helpfull, full of energy (6 hours dancing? Waw!) and sweet. She is THE person to know and meet in Wien, specialy if you want to make the most of your time! She took us to free Waltz lessons in Karlplatz, to a marvelous concert of classical music and for a little night walk!
Simply lovely!

We met Evelyn only two times,but I am sure it is only the beginning.. we have lot of things common. She is full with energy and giving helping hands, where she can.I missed you on the samba event this Saturday! But next time... :)

we fighted together for vienna calling 09! first time we met for some test-hikes next kahlenberg, we figured out the best route for our friday-hike, where i -like often- came really to late, but in the end really everybody was luky to had such a nice walk with such nice views and nice ppl around himself. evelyn is a very friendly talkactive woman, she is committed and helpful to everybody. hope to get to know you better and better, evelyn..

 

"Love is like butterfly - if you want to catch it, you will fail - if you wait patiently, it will land on your shoulder" - okay, I wrote this cause Evelyn loves butterflies :), and has really nice decorations in her flat. She hosted us for two days, and was really kind to take care so much things during the Vienna calling. Hey Angel! Hey people who read this! My message will be simple: surf Evelyns couch!!! Or let her surf yours!!! Cause she knows what couchsurfing stands for. I stayed at her place for almost a week and I can assure you, she's real! Furthermore, she's a great person, open for anyone and anything, and yet not afraid of a bit of sincere ideological discussion! I am so glad I got in touch with Evelyn. She was incredibly nice, and invited me to join her on some of the weekend activities she had planned while I was in Vienna. We went to a musical and then biked together with another surfer from Vienna to Bratislava. She kindly helped with arrangements for getting me a rental bike too. Friendly and lively, it was a lot of fun to hang out with her!

Nomen est omen. She's a real angel, always smiling, always having a few nice words and going out of her way just to help someone in need.

Ewelin is a shiny person. She haven't problem to acommodate us and take us as her friends. We spent an amazing evening with some other couchsurfers in her apartment which she shares with Matej. We hope to see you again,Ewelyn. Till Then -> take care;)

Evelyn was so, so wonderful and let us use her house for the food party! She is an amazing traveler (she'd gotten back from China just a day before she hosted this party!) and great story teller (getting back from China was an adventure...phew!). I had such a great time at Evelyns! she is a wonderful person, really and truely loves life the way one should. I am so glad i met her she said some things that completly put me at ease with my future travels to India and beyond! I think Evelyn is one of those people who truly encapsulates what CS is all about. She welcomes people into her home from all over the world and is interested in all that hey have to share. And is also an avid traveller herself and keen to meet CSers from al over the place. Even though she was really busy with work while I stayed with her, she still made me feel very welcome and was happy to answer any questions I had... "who sings this??"

I stayed at Evelyn's place for two days, and she introduced me to that strange viennese phenomenon of "mobile clubbing"! A great moment! And as she loves Queen, she can only be a good person... Thanks a lot!

 

I had a great time staying with Evelyn...even though she didnt have the time to show us around during the day she gave us a map of the city and showed us all the things we should see and do and it was great. Evelyn is very easy to talk to and travels quite a bit herself...we had a good time exchanging stories about India and our love of its insanity.

I first met Evelyn at “free hugs” meeting in Ortaköy/Istanbul. After that meeting we met twice more. I easily warm towards some people and make friends. Some ladies make me feel themselves as if they’re my own sisters and I like them as I like my own sister. Evelyn is one of them. She has a good heart and she's very easy-going. She's open-minded. She doesn’t hide her ideas and is open to every idea. She is very helpful. She's trying to be helpful to her friends. I guess she feels very glad inside when she helps someone. I saw her smile is completely sincere. She's very sociable and lively. During my last farewell to her I told her “bye ‘for now’ my sister”. That means that it musn’t be our last farewell. She host me for 4 days in Berlin. We're not a really go match (she is all the time out at home and I don't have a cell phone) but she is a nice girl. And she help me with my travel! :) She contact a friend for I can have a ride to go in Innsbruck direction.

She is the flatmate of Roger who hosted me in Vienna and I have only good experiences: she a very calm and friendly and smile girl! Hopefully I didn't shocked you too much with my accent while speaking German! :))

 

I like somebody who speaks their mind and is not offended when somebody else does too, even though Evelyn was a little prejudgemental about me (bonjour).Evelyn is a great person to socialise with and is also considerate and helpful too. I promise to speak my Oxford English around you too: ).

So, after hosting Evelyn in Bombay, I managed to get the favor returned in Vienna! She's great fun to hang out with (both in Bombay and Vienna), and a super-accommodating and easygoing hostess. Of course, I already knew this about her while she was a guest of mine, but this experience only confirmed to me how awesome she really is!

Evelyn is and has been my roomie for more than 2 months and we have lived different experiences. Despite our different characters, we manage to enjoy and she is my personal adivisor like an indian wise woman.

This girl comes to my life completely unexpected a second time with a "big bang". She is intelligent, beautiful and very lovely - and a great dancer!

Met this Evil, in the Tuesday meet up in Mumbai.
And just before I could think about meeting just another person in my life I saw something... just that put me across the road waiting to see her again and yes met her almost 5 times in next two day.. left me awstruk with her ever smiling capattiving talks.

Speaking to her daily and knowing so much about Viena and her has now left me with just no other option than to be Friend FOREVER!!

I only spent about an hour in Evelyn's presence but there was a definite spark that jumped between us. I feel like I have known her for ages. We spoke some words, our eyes smiled at each other, we danced. She has an accurate CS name. I hope that the angel will continue to travel alongside us, the world will be a better place for it.

 

We met for few hours but were impressed by her travel and CS experience and observations.I wish I had more time to hear her experiences.we hope to meet again.

 

We met 1 year ago in China during a gathering but i forgot to leave her a reference! Better late than never... We didnt have much time to talk , but she seems to be kind, sweet, quite smart, and her face lines are beautiful.

It was a fateful meeting of a Panda bear and a Geko. LOL. We had such a great time and a lot of laughs when Evelyn surfed my humble couch in Munich. When she left, I felt as if we knew each other for a much longer time. She is simply a great great person! I had the pleasure to show Evelyn and a friend of her all around Cairo, we came along very well that we made our own trip in the depth of Africa and spent the greatest time there. Later on, I was honored to be her guest on her own territory, such a wonderful host she was, she made a big effort to ensure that I enjoy every single moment in her great country, also gave me the pleasure to meet her wonderful family and friends on the Christmas holidays. Thank a lot for the amazing time Evelyn, Austria would never be that charming without you being around!!

can't believe i forgot to add her to my friends list! we met at CS meets in singapore and beijing, which progressed into a salsa night and sneaking around the heart of chinese political power respectively... positive, fun and spreading the spirit of CS!

A real cool Ambassador is what she would be described as and yet much much more as she has amazing friendly personality and very friendly charm that melts you right when you meet her for the first time. She is a friend of my friend in HK and was supposed to stay with me but then it turned out to that she found it with some other CSer but we met and it was very nice to know her and talk to her. I organized a gathering and she had the right timing to be there which was fun. And now she is still few hours away and will definitely join one of her organized gathering in China. So hopefully we will meet again soon.
She is open mind, calm and sweet person and you will love to be with her.

it's a great time to meet Evelyn, my first couchsurfing experience.
Our meeting is kind of tough, but despite the mobilephone issue, we still make it. Evelyn is so nice and considerate. she insiste to pay for our fee to the temple, saying that it's my extra cost.It's a pity that i have to go back to my hometown the next day, so we have limited time together.
The heavy rain that night may just wanna us to stay together for a longer time.:-)

Ahh, the travelling angel. It's been a load of fun so far, including the comedy night, a night of wandering and pizza, and a questionably musical concert :P Keep it up, travel hard!

I met Evelyn at our April Beijing CS meeting. She is very kind and we had a great talk during the meeting. She introduced me a lot about touring around Austria, as i will go to Austria soon. She is a very easy going and spontaneous person. I hope i can host her next time and hopefully to meet her in Austria:)

 

It all started with a missed encounter in southern China about two months ago and ended with the lovely Evelyn spending four days in my humble pad. During her time here, we fully explored Beijing's nightlife and social scene. From going to an improv performance on the night that she arrived to attending a concert of experimental music to checking out the Beijing art scene, we filled the hours with activities. Highlights include a big midnight meal in the hutongs and the crazy night adventure in Yuyuantan Park. We've had some very honest and deep conversations and I consider Evelyn one of the best people I've met. As a CS nomadic ambassador, her passion for the cult of couchsurfing was evident every single day. If I could be more like Evelyn, I know I'd be a better person. Don't hesitate to host, surf, or meet her and share her zest for life.

angel goes travelling is bubbly , attractive , possess charms and a magnetizing personality. we clicked well at first sight, i believe.

 

Through the mysterious powers of my 'in-flight self-portrait' which had played with this particular viewer's subconscious, we connected at Club Yu Gong Yi Shan to which she shrieked "YOU'RE PETSHOPBOY?!" with widened eyes. Fortunately, my self-portrait didn't have the same effect on people as Edvard Munch's "The Scream" is reported to have...

Angel was a pleasure to talk to, both in German and English. We shall meet again!

Evelyn is the first people i met in CS,she is very nice and she told me a lot of experience of CS and i had learnt something from her.I hope we can meet again in Hong Kong or in Europe!!

Evelyn was great fun to be with! we went to Pulau Ubin together with some CS friends, had great Chinese steamboat at Arab street. She loved the nature too!! Then went for some drinks at Club street. And next thing i knew it, she was asking me to be the CS ambassador for Singapore.

My family and I enjoyed Evelyn's stay at our place. She is genuine and polite and she tries to speak some cantonese :)

I met this WONDERFUL Girl in the center of Europe and spent beautiful days..Well, i can say I was Evelyn guest, though i didn't stay at her place! Evelyn is nice and trustworthy person.. She is interesting and willing to know nice people too..she really made me feel like I was at home :) when i am first time out of my country.. Hope one day she'll come to india soon! It was a great experience. You are a very nice person..It was one of the best days of my life because of You! such a lovely person to know!thanx sharing time and for welcome me in Vienna.. that's really sweet of you! Hope to see u soon in india!! you are more then welcome... Will definitely see u someday!

Evelyn's a a very lively & fun person to have around...makes a day into around 30 hours, is the Angel who goes traveling!

Angel_goes_sharing_loving_caring_and_of_course_traveling. Evelyn is a couchsurfer "par excellence"! She gave hospitality to a nice Romanian guest for months. She invited me to join her for a wonderfull week-end in a ski resort. Though she has a busy life she always tries to be available. She devotes a lot of her time and energy to the Couchsurfing project and is one of the most active member. And above all she is just friendly, easy-going, opened minded... A cheerful and colorful butterfly with a real traveler´s soul!

 

We see each other once in a while. We also surfed together at Leon's place in Bratislava last November. She organized a great multicultural dinner at her place. She is a great host and has the view of a real traveller. She knows more about SAP than anyone else I know (including me) :-) Meet her!

Evelyn is a great girl! She was such a good guest and I would ahve loved to spend more time with her. She and her friend were very low maintenance and cooked supper, did dishes etc. I would love to meet up with Evs again. As soon as possible!

Yes she is right ! I was comeing as a
couchsurfer and with lot of understanding and goodwillness I could stay as long as I was in Vienna. She is the kind of peson who does't stop traveling, and making new friends all over the world becouse she has a Big heart!

Working Angel! Once again i think Evelin recognized first my bike and then me, it was suppose to meet at her address, but she saw me close to the train station. And always told me to go on cycle ways, well I could do most but not all, in Lisbon I just go on normal roads.
By the way, i don't know what but I don't have any picture of Vienna, is the second time that happens!

Evelyn is the coolest couchsurfer host we had. She was mostly working when we were there, but she gave us valuable information about Austria and gave us the keys to get in her place.

We used to be working colleagues. She is a very nice easy going girl and definitely has the right spirit for couchsurfing. I admire her spontaneity and travelling experience.

We had a really nice talk while walking the beautiful streets of Vienna!

 

Like an "ANGEL" :) Evelyn guided me to Anita's place and we had dinner together with a few CS members.
Although we met for only a few hours, however I came across Evelyn as a friendly and joyful person. We had a good time over dinner.

 

Five people staying in her house at one go...NO problem....even if there are 10 i think it wont be a problem for her...i guess she goes by the concept that if you have space in your heart you will have space in your house too....She really is an Angel :)

 

I met Evelyn in Austria for the CS collective, but I really learned to know her as she hosted me and some other folks in Vienna, and she's definitely someone to know !!! She's very caring, funny, conversationnal and curious about many subjects, and quite a seasoned traveler ! I had the most wonderful time in Vienna at her place and hope to meet her again soon :) Thx again Evelyn :)

We first met at the Collective in Eisenstadt and the following weekend I had the chance to surf her couch for two nights. Thank you very much for your hospitality and take care of my wool blanket - I'll get it someday :-)

Got to know Evelin thru Anita at first! She has great sense of humour! She brought me wealth of info in regards to Vienna theatres, musicals, operas etc! Exactly what I need in Vienna! And, she brought me to Salsa! I want to meet her again the next trip in Wien!!

Rock and Roll Diva and Gifted Shopper... Evelyn hosted my girlfriend and I for a night in Vienna. Because we were arriving rather late in the evening to Vienna, she had arranged for us to meet at a local club to hear a friend's band play at a local spot. The band rocked as well as every other recommendation she had for us. She was incredibly warm and hospitable and went well out of her way to include us and make sure we enjoyed Vienna. I wish that we only had more time to hang out. Who knows, maybe I'll run into her in one of her Bazzar shopping trips in Sri Lanka?

 

I met her in Einstadt at the CS Collective. A sweet person to talk to and also specialized to host ppl from south asian region :). Showed interest in visiting my country so hopefully will host her some time.

 

A brilliant host who turns every moment to fun. Clinical tests proved, that being around this girl is the best known cure against homesickness. Too good in my case actually. :)

This girl puts the heat in hot sauce!!!

She is so helpful. There were two other guests arriving on the same day as I. She came to meet us at the station; took us to her place... and told us about her city. Had dinner with her next day. She is really a great host.

oh travelling angel. on very short notice she offered me a place to crash. Totally went out of her way to pick me up at the station, gaveme some tips for vienna etc. I had the honour(i forced her)of redecorating her couchsurfer space.
Evelyn i really enjoyed ur home and will always have my door open for u.

 

Short and Sweet! Though we only spent one night in Vienna with Evelyn, it was obvious how dedicated she was to the CS project. From arranging for us to see a show an hour after getting off the train, to giving advice about what to do on our "only" day in Vienna, she was an excellent host.

Amazing guys. She was the second host in Vienna in 2 days, she hosted me for 2 days...i enjoyed their company. I left her place on new year's day morning...i was a bit shocked by the cold of Vienna, but even because i had to meet a person in Venice. She also introduced her beautiful friends.....I'm not going to forget Vienna, and you all guys! I'll bear you all in my heart.

Travelling Angel. We met through Shook... and have been to this amazing club in Vienna, Club Havana to learn salsa.
Angel is SO nice... and always off travelling somewhere!
