About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Act justly, love mercy, walk humbly
PHILOSOPHY
As a Mennonite radical, I have a very specific philosophy of living that you may not encounter very often. The teachings of Jesus of Nazareth guide my life in ways that defy traditional Christendom and Empire. I'm an activist through my life but also by being involved through our local Green Party. I follow a diet that I like to call symbiotic vegetarianism. I seek liberation for all sexual and gender minorities, especially within the Church. I seek non-violence in every part of my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted quite a few couchsurfers through my housing co-op, AntHill. When I couchsurf it's generally because I'm in another city for some sort of gathering, but I'd love to couchsurf for its own sake at some point in my life.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
most of my CS experience is just from living at Ant Hill Co-op. We host quite a few of the people that come through Rochester. I've also taken a few trips that I've surfed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was a member of the 2010 Soulforce Equality Ride. Hopped on a big queer bus and toured the country talking about queer sexuality, gender, and faith at conservative Christian colleges. Awesome and surprising experience.
