Andrew is such a good entertaiment person, a great energy and such a good attitude for life. I highly reccomend him ;)

My friends and I were in the NYC's subway speaking portugues and suddenlly this guy ask us if we are brazilians, next day we meet him again at the Brazilian day... How is that possible? I don't know... destiny I guess!!hehehe
We hang out with him at that same night and he took us to some pubs and clubs in NYC. He's a great guy, a very nice and fun company!!

We've been flatmates in Rio de Janeiro for more than two months. we shared so many great moments and stories, in the funky flat, on the beach, on the street parties...! and we share the same vision of the world
Andrew is a cool guy, cheerful, communicative, involved, he loves to be an actor and not a spectator in the place he lives, and I can tell he is real funny and the best party friend!

Well, it took me a few weeks to write this reference to Andrew. We didn't spend too much time together, but he was the sweetest host and friend. Even with the little time we had some great conversations, and I could tell that even being pretty chill, he can be a party animal himself. Hope to see you again Andy, here, there or anywhere!

I met Andrew in Sao Paulo on the beginning of the year and since this time we already went out a couple of times. He even came to Aracaju to spend some days here... all my family liked him a lot. He is an very funny guy with a great sense of humour. I wish him everything good in Rio and hope to see him again soon!

The brother I never had (well, actually i have 2, but not as kickass as my darling Andrew). Hes a lively spirit, always up for a party, then up at the crack of dawn (just to crash in your bed when your not looking haha) We spent 3 nights in Iguazu falls too hungover to actually see the falls till the last day, and even took on a pair of canadians together ;). He´s a true sweetheart. Youd be wise to get to know this truely beautiful, wacky individual. A real doll. Hope to see you again sometime in these lower lattitudes my dear. Impossible not to like this guy. He is very easygoing and, though he loves to festejar duro (party hard), he can be a great friend for long lazy times too!

He is a great host and is always making sure his guests are having a good time.

He is my buddy for conversations about life and relationships. He is smart and one of the nicest guys I've ever met. And he's very funny too, specially when he pulls faces while speaking Portuguese.

Andrew is cocksure, silly, smart, a do-gooder, knows his psychology (of women), is without pretense, dances all liquid, tells hilarious stories, and is great fun to be around.

I knew Andrew during a birthday´s party. He is very simpatic, funny and smart. I taught him some steps of forró (brazilian dance) and he learned it very fast. This guy is a good dancer. I hope to see him again.

At the begging is hard to follow him, because he speaks and think sooo fast, but later, if you have the chance of know him better, you will see this adorable funny guy, with hom you can have great conversations with lots of beer in a cheap but nice boteco! This guy is full of great talents: He can talk in a very loud remarkable voice for hours and hours and hours without repeating himself and getting boring. He can party hard and long several days in a row and still motivate himself to get up for a horrible breakfast at 10:00 am. He makes me write the longest reference I ever gave.
Above all his heartiness makes you feel like you met an old friend after an unmeasurable short time.
He also infected me with the worst cold I can remember. But I can't help myself. I still really like this fellow.
Beware!!He appears when you expect him least!! :-)

Andrew was a fantastic host! Spent a great deal of time at Newport Pizza, and we had a good time even though I am not yet 21... if you get the opportunity to CouchSurf with him, or just hang out with him, do not miss the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! :)

Andrew is a fun and outgoing person from what I had the chance to see. He is very helpful. So when we from day to day needed a place to crash, he was there to help. :D he really came to our rescue.

andrew was awesome, with his little take out box's in every restaurant, "waste not want not" he also sorted out a homeless guy with some cash, overall this dude was awesome, and i wanna say thankyou soo much for looking after us, and teaching me beer pong,

Andrew and I worked together at a kids camp and we partied a few times. He is a fantastic person - fun, energetic, occasionally wild, and highly highly friendly to everyone. He's got a big heart and loves dancing!

Andrew came in town without knowing anybody. That didin't stop him getting our names on a guest list on his second night here. But no wonder Andrew has it easy with people, he's a great guy, either to party with (of course!), but also in general. I'm happy I hosted him, and even though he left me his cold as a souvenir, I'm looking forward to hanging out with him again in Buenos Aires or somewhere in North America.

 

Carpooled to the baja fiesta with Andrew. Great driver and an even better guide, Andrew is very interesting, knowledgeble about a variety of subjects and FUN to travel with. Easy-going and personable, the trip wouldn't have been as fun without him. Had a blast sharing gaucamole, beer, churros and laughs. Muchos gracias!

 

Andrew, thanks for driving us to Baja. We had great time hanging out and riding with you. You are our man on the "driver seat" that we can trust, not just driving:-) See you again in SD, LA or somewhere!

Andrew is really nice. He's funny, friendly, talkative and outgoing. I'm so glad we met in Mexico and I hope we can hang out more in the future. Next time maybe a SD meeting with bowling and white (Caucasian) Russians.

Andrew offered to take me out for some drinks and show me around town a bit. He had just gotten back from a major trip and was leaving for thanksgiving so he couldn't host but offered to go out for some drinks. It went great. He is a super nice guy, well traveled, and a great conversationalist. Thanks again for the great time Andrew.

Andrew is very fun, very friendly. Willing to go on silly adventures and such. We got along great and I can't wait to meet up with him in some other part of the world. He is very open to anything (and I mean anything) and we had many things in common. He tells great stories and from the moment I met him, he made me feel comfortable. He is an excellent person to know and have fun with. The other references say it all, he's an all around great guy to know, stay with, party with, etc.

Andrew is my new friend that it is exactly, in my opinion, the CouchSurfing spirit! He is very fun, easy going, open minded, always curious to see, listen, talk and discover new things! It was easy to notice his sincere excitement during his stay in Rio! We had a lot of fun during his stay in my house, which always will have open doors for him!

Staying with Andrew was a pleasure. His hospitality and friendliness made for a warm welcome to sunny California. He took us out to some nice bars and introduced us to some nicer beers, going out of his way to accommodate these weary travelers. Andrew also has some great travel stories of his own and some hilarious video footage. The only problem with the visit was that it was too short!! Thanks again for everything, Andrew, good luck in the future with all your projects and I hope we can see you again...

Andrew is a really great host! We were in trouble trying to find a place to stay in San Diego and he hosted us even if there was already two couchsurfers! He showed us some part of the city and really take care of us. Our only regret is that we were tired of our last journey, so we didn't do more with him.

 

Being hosted by Andrew was a fantastic time, despite him and one of his friends managing to get me drunk and dancing like a goon at a bar. Of course, up until the last beer I didn't exactly resist-- but by then it was too late anyway :). If you can manage to get a spot on his prestigious couch you can be certain you'll have a memorable time.

We met after a porno puppets show (Yeah, sounds weird bit that's what it was!) and we have been having fun in some CS meetings/parties. He is cool and easy going! It seems that people in san diego is awesome, he is my third and all of the are coooooooool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he already knew me before we met! and when we met he was the nicest person to me. we had a lot of fun in a hell of a weekend in lapa dancing together. andrew is the kind of guy who makes you feel comfortable in a sec...talks to you like you were friends for a long time...you are great!

 

First time we met up in Rio and we had a great party night with other CSers! And then we met up in BsAs few weeks later and guess what? We went party again! And it was heaps of fun! Andrew is so much fun, and he has a great fashion sense. Our honeymoon has been so romantic, except when he decided not to shower for 7 days. He really stunk, but don't worry, he's clean now. After skipping around San Telmo, meeting some crazies on the street and petting wild monkeys, I truly feel connected to Andrew.

Andrew and I were acquainted at a convent, and he showed me the beauty of non-nun living. Helpful tips about traveling, fancy dancing moves, general warmth and smiley-ness, good humor, and great dessert references. A great little find indeed. Too bad there isn't more time to play!

I hosted Andrew just for a night because he was homeless when I met him. He´s really firendly, is allways dancing and smiling!

I met Andrew on a crazy CS meeting that started on a fancy bar/brewery in Ipanema, moved to a crazy ride by bus through Rio and ended up in a night club in Lapa. Throughout the night, he had the chance to tell a bit of his adventures in China, Africa and Brazil. I hope we can hang out soon in California!

 

They are fun and interesting. I can also vouch that Andrew is not a couch-wetter. He's crashed on my futon a few times.

i met andrew for the first time when a couchsurfer friend of ours was leaving my place and going to his. unfortunately, when we met up i didn't get the chance to speak to him very much because some random old senior citizen man barged in on our group meeting and didn't give us all the chance to chat. he seemed really cool though and i would like to get another chance to hang out with him again when strangers aren't inviting themselves into our converstation(s).

If I only had one word to describe Andrew and Ryan it would have to be "fun", but since I can say more, they are also gracious, down to earth, respectful, funny, and know how to have a good time. They were great hosts and I had a ball at their place! Especially loved their couch, which was very, very comfortable.

I wish that we'd had a chance to see the nightlife of Beijing, but at least it sounds like he had a good overall experience in China :)
