What an interesting person! Hosting Chris was a cool experience so that's a pity he couldn't have stayed longer at us. He seems to be very frank, laid-back and spontaneous which I really appreciate (not to mention his intriguing personality;);] Hope to see him again! & greetings from my flatmates:)

anyway, we met at the BPWC, and to be frank, we did not have a chance to talk much except for the international night, but... you know that type of people that you don't have to know well to simply like them for some (or no) reason? that's chris!

 

During the many hours he spent driving through often terrible weather, fueled by the determination to get to 'Pest (as well as coffee and a little Disco-Polo!) I was very happy to get to know Chris.
A pleasure to be around, and no doubt we will meet again soon back in Warszawa!

Chris is a cool guy, I hosted him in Panama city, we havent much time to share coz he was busy traveling around and having fun. If you talk to him and get to know him better you will see a swett guy. He said that he want to come back to Panama, do not if is true but I will host him again if he do it. Im sure that you can trust in Chris if you open your home to host him. Chris is a Mega travel guy today here, tomorrow there, next week somewhere. Carry on with this Chris now is the time and hopefully you will see all the world with your short age. All the best.

At the moment I didn't realize that my first surfer was actually an ambassador.. Such I pleasure to host this open minded and interesting guy.. I ll keep you in touch for my coming trip and I ld really appreciate some of your travel tips..

 

Xris brought together over 20 people in to a nice meeting. I whish we hade more people like him with the charm to atract nice people like him

 

We met the day of his flight back to Anchorage, but he and I had some great conversations and beer-drinking at the beach bonfire! I'm sure he'd be a lot of fun to travel with.

Chris is a super social fun guy, up for anything. He has a great outlook on life, just living!

 

I took Chris and two other CSers on a camping road-trip through my favorite parts of Alaska for the better part of 6 days. Chris and I had some disagreements which we eventually were able to workout after the trip.

I think our personalities just clash on some level, but he is probably a fun guy in the right setting. I am impressed that he contacted me by phone after the trip to discuss the way things went.

Overall it wasn't an ideal trip, in my mind, but I would give Chris another chance in the future.

It was great spending time with Chris while he was in town. He is very friendly, and outgoing. Overall. I had a positive experience hanging out, we even found a couple of cool places in my area that I did not know about.

 

Chris is a great guy and is highly motivated to accomplish his career objective of becoming an airline pilot, which I am confident he will do. He was a pleasure to host. "Chris, let me know when you get that first flying job".

Chris is an interesting personality. We had some interesting conversations and good moments but also quite a few disagreements. But Chris lives life according to his own views -- how can one not respect that.

I had a great time hosting Chris for a night. He's a complete gentleman and a seasoned surfer.

Very nice having Chris over for the two days here was here...even though I only saw him that one night!

Chris is definitely a partier. He is an outgoing guy and knows how to have a good time. We went out on the town and had a blast after checking out a basketball game at my place. Next time you're in town Chris, hit me up, we'll do it up again.

Chris is an experienced surfer of couches. He communicates well, is not shy, mixes well and is extremely polite. If you have the chance to host this gentleman, do it!!! He is fascinating.

Chris is a cool guy with a lot of crazy stories... He was in Wichita so he could check out and then attend a nearby pilot school- you never know what he is going to do next!

It was bad experience for him, because he was stole his wallet. Policemen don't have any news, and I tried several times to know about the security cam, but nothing, sorry !

Chris emailed me about coming to stay for one night while he is on a flight trip around America in order to build hours towards getting a commercial flight license. I was intrigued by it because he would be the first person traveling to our co-op by flying a plane! Though he did not wind up staying with us, he made sure to come to our co-op's sixth birthday party, along with his host Dani. They truly showed their party spirit and openness. I would definitely couchsurf at his place when I'm in Poland one day.

 

We got Chris to enjoy cheap American beer, and engaged in very many interesting conversations. It was a great experience and hopefully we will meet again in the future.

Chris is a curious traveler and a true heart CSer. Thinking that i will meet him with his friend Monika, i found out that he organized a meeting with other CSers witch was totally awesome. I enjoyed allot his scene of hummer, his travel experience and the way he smoke Chicha ;) Finally i found out that the world is really a small village. Hope to see U soon when i get a VISA ;)

Meeting and having Chris at the house for a couple days was a great experience. I really enjoyed talking with him -- and especially sharing some of his music. It was excellent to have him with us in the midst of a dance party at the end of a weekend; no doubt some of the best and craziest timing possible for surfing our couch. I'm excited for him to be living in Kansas and I hope to see him again!

 

Chris taught me some Polish, and got me hooked on the history channel and bratwurst. He was tons of fun to have around and is a very interesting person.

Artlite joined me for my birthday at Continental, we had shots together (50 to be exact, but of course none of us individually drank 50 shots :-p ), good times! Hope to see you around sometime ;-)

Well I can just say that from all people at the Bar you were the only one worth talking too..I love trouble makers..It's rebellious and well kinda likely that I will get to a fight with an american as well one of these days. This guy is fuckin' awesome. Although he only stayed a night on his way to Kansas for flight school, it was a blast. Getting wasted at revival and eating copious amounts of fried chicken and french fries at 3am was awesome. Good luck in flight school.. blue skies :)

Chris surfed my couch while attending the BWC. He`s was a nice guest, friendly and laid-back. I didn`t attend BWC but I can easily guess that he likes to party but doesn`t like night buses:-) I`m happy you had a good time!

 

He got me my BWC-Ticket and has therefore a place in my heart for all time!Apart from that he seems to be a very nice and fun-loving guy...hope we get to talk a bit more next time :)

I felt with him just like with someone from my family ;) He's the best example of theory that polish guys are just great!

 

Chris and his 2 friends where my first couchsurfers. It was a great introduction into the couchsurfing community. They where polite, friendly and excieted to be in Yosemite. I had a great time showing them around even if i was a little hung over. They are welcome back anytime.

Artlite is the coolest nomad I've met in a long time. Very chill, silently funny or in other words lightly sarcastic. Yeah, it's been a month and I still remember him chatting with everyone at the bonfire... and looking for his camera =P Hope you're doing good man!

Artlite surfed my place for one evening. He had another traveler with him. They both were very kind and well prepared travelers.
They were very interested in exploring Sacramento-I gave them ideas and sent them in a direction. They found their way back at a decent hour.
Having them worked out well. I would definitely host again.

 

Chris and his friends surfed at my place on their way to San Francisco. He was not feeling so well at the moment but he was a great guest nonetheless. I was able to convince him to stay and relax in Monterey a little while longer. It was also fun navigating the streets of San Fran with him. Come back to Monterey soon...if not, see you in Warszawa!

It was a great time hanging out with these guys in SF. Rock band seshes are awesome.

Chris and his friends made things easy for my first experience hosting for couchsurfers. Nice, laid back dude, good with dogs too.

He and his friends stayed on my couches for a couple of nights. Really cool people. I would gladly host them again!

Chris and his friends were very nice. The girls and I wish they would have stayed longer though; very fun (they did some impressive cannon-balls off my diving board) and respectful houseguests. Him and two friends crashed my pad and we had lots of fun. Drinking and talking about differences of people and country. They kept it real and it was a pleasure having all 3 of them.

We met in the new city of marrakesh,we share food,conversation,and clubbin :).A great Polish guy that I'm proud to add in my "kind polish friends" list ! :)

We went out one night in Madrid woth other CS. Fun night dancing, eating tapas and talking.

We didn't get to talk so much, but he seems like a funny guy. We went out dancing and somebody got really drunk and then he got robbed;)

He's very easy-going guy even at 4 am in the night with his train being 1,5 hour delayed. Wish You good luck on Your trip!

I met Krzysztof and Amy in Sopot. We spent fantastic time in cafe 'Józef K.' and then a bit hanged around in the city. Krzysztof is very interesting guy to talk to and I hope we could meet again.

Krzysiek is very friendly and open minded person. His companion and he visited me and we spent great time together. He was my first couchsurfer on my house, so I'm very happy to met so great people.

 

I met Krzysiek couple of times on the meeting in Warsaw and I didn't hesitate a sec when he ask me to host him and his 2 friends during winter camp. They were perfect guests, never complaining about my small flat and always ready to party on CS meeting.

I like Krzysiek's sens of humour and had fun hanging around with him and his friends.

we spent the weekend with friends and walking around and having a tiny BBQ, it was fun, chris is a very uncomplicated guest, humming music all the time :)

I met Krzysztof at Klinika at my first CS gathering in Warsaw. He seems to be very open minded person with an interesting lifestyle (as you can see from his homepage anyway:-)! I really enjoyed taking with Krzych and hoping to see him in future meetings. Meanwhile, enjoy your time in Austria:)

I had a a great time partying with Chris at a CS meeting in Warsaw! He's a sincere and laid-back guy and eventhough I only met him this one night I realised he must have a bunch of talents, including drums and... cereal commercials, hehe. AND he likes the Swede Dolph Lundgren which is super weird but quite cool.

I had a great time in Warsaw with Chris and his friends (Sinade O'connor will now always hold a special place in my heart). Chris is friendly and outgoing, and was a great host. We'll have to meet up again for some Family Guy time : )

One of the guys I spent the most time with at the Berlin Beach Camp. Definitely one of the coolest guys I've met. Interesting opinions about life, the kind of person you can talk with for hours; I consider him quite close to me on these views. Hope we meet again.

...and yes, we met again. Second time was in Barcelona, third in Berlin, for the Winter Camp. I can say he's possibly now one of my dearest far-away CS friend: you always say "I hope to see you again", but unfortunately, it happens rarely.
Not with him. And all this for one reason: we decided to conquer Uranus. So, beware.

He's a great guy with a little strange style :) He brought the best strudel-tasting drink ever (I still can't remember the strange name) and we hade the greatest time together!

He is an extremely open and friendly guy, who was asking for the contacts of everybody at the party where we met, and shooting a lot of picture of everybody. Always smiling, and with a warm attitude to people. Great! :-)

 

Chris was really nice by answering my last minute request for couch surfing in Warsaw. He gave great directions to his place and helped me out with the city. I met Chris In Warsaw on a beutiful sunny day :-) I had a long stopover in town on my way to Helsinki and Chris was very kind to show me around and join for lunch. Chris's has a fascinating character and I hope we'll meet again some day :-)

Despite Chris' constant peer-pressure tactics, I had a really good first CS experience at his place in Warsaw. He gave me a key, understood when I was busy with a full day of interviews, and introduced me to Poland's warm beer. :) Definitely welcome to stay in Montreal!

Chris can't help but be a good host. Except when he hangs your backpack over the balcony and makes you bow in submission to his Dolph Lundgren poster. Great guy, I had an awesome time in Warsaw..made all the better by this host! His friends you do have to watch out for though, like keep an eye on your ipod and stuff..j/k theyre great too! Oh and Chris helped me get to Krakow.. twice.

POLSKA!!! We had a kickass time at the bonfire party on Fiesta Island and partying with a ton of people in Joe's small ass apartment.

 

we had a great time in san diego. my apartment was beyond capacity but everyone seemed to manage and improvise as needed...car sleeping, floor sleeping, three to a sofa sleeping. anyway, enjoyed hanging out and wish there was more time. see you in san diego or somewhere out there soon!

I met Artlite at the Art Walk in Downtown LA, he is a very friendly, warm and easy to talk to person. I would like to meet him again at another CS meeting so we can talk about social issues in the USA and particularly in LA.

 

I originally met Chris at a bonfire in San Diego back in February when I first started with CS. Our paths crossed once again as he visited SD for an Ocean Beach bonfire and surfed my couch for the evening with his girlfriend and another CSer from up north. Very laid back, easy going guy with a great outlook on life, and a sense of casual kindness about him.

 

It was great hanging out with Chris at the Bonfire and stealing the most delicious vodka i ever had, next time im in poland im getting drunk everyday with Zubrowka!

Sleepless by night at a local internet cafe, CS features made him noticing me and we started exchanging some short mails... few minutes later, I was enjoying pierogy at his flat! Great guy, Great common interest! I fully enjoyed my cosy short stay at Chris's place.

Within 10 minutes of arrival, he had cracked open a bottle of Polish vodka. What's not to like? :) Hope to see him sometime in Warsaw!

 

Stayed at Chris' place for two nights and had a great time in Warsaw. He made me some cool Polish style sandwiches, took me to play some competitive ping pong with him and his friend, and he was a great source for info/places to see in Warsaw. Thanks for the tip on that great Queen concert, I keep watching it.

Chris was a great host - couldn't ask for anything better.
He let me stay for two nights more than planned without hesitation. He helped me a lot to make a challenge given to me by my newspapers readers.
Also he took my out in Warzaw, introducing my to the delicious Polish cuisine, some friends and the city.
We talked a lot about our lives and thoughts, and it was very giving to get to know him.
I can't recommend a better host, so consider yourself privileged, if you can surf Chris' couch or do feel happy hosting him, if he needs.

Chris and his friend were the first surfers I’ve hosted; what a great introduction to this community! I thoroughly enjoyed their company and conversation. And vodka.:) Chris is kind and curious, and intelligent in so many ways. He’ll charm you with his fun, engaging personality and inspire you to be a better person. One evening with Chris challenged me to set higher expectations for myself and have more ambition to take risks and live life in the pursuit of my dreams. The way he lives his life encourages me to learn everything I can about this diverse world in which we live, and yet reminds me how alike we are on the inside. I’m so grateful! And as the courteous surfer that he is, he never complained (in English, anyway) about the accommodations, the incessant barking of the dog next door (well…maybe once), and having to drink from lowly jars. Hanging out with Chris was good fun, and I hope we’ll meet again someday!

Chris and his friend stayed on my couch as they rolled through town. They were hardly here long enough to pass out, but they were both nice guys and good couchsurfers, and are welcome back anytime.

I surfed the same couch for about 2 or 3 nights like Chris. Actually we didn't spent a lot time together but it was fun to talk to him in polish ;)

 

Chris is a super surfer. a true travel junkie, great stories, educated and interested in life, politics and cultures, plays the guitar like a motha, knew how to navigate the LA bus system better than anyone i know and because of him i ‘m addicted to chocolate raspberry beer.

He’s welcome back at our place anytime and I’m sure we’ll spend some time again before he returns home in a couple of months and hopefully we’ll squeeze in a few trips ;)

This Polish bartender stayed w/ us for a night, after having his previous couchsurfing plans fall through. (We don't normally host during the week, but were happy to make an exception for him!) We had good times watching Little Miss Sunshine and listening to his stories from his travels.

 

I got him a job bartending a cage fight, not knowing him previously I was a little afraid of him messing up the job but he did great and now is welcome to come back anytime he wants.

He is a very nice, respectable gent and fun to work/hang out with.

we spent 3 crazy days together in nevada and california, after not much agreeing online before he was though easygoing and real real real relaxed :-)))))). Much luck in California Chris

to finally get to meet one of the many friends i have here it was absolutely amazing

I had a fun trip from Vegas to LA for the amazing drum circle on the beach. I can't comment fully on Cris because most of the time I spent with him, he was asleep ;) Vegas will do that to you! He's a guy that thinks about things deeply and also a guy that likes to have a good time.

 

One of the coolest CSerfers in Warsaw! First time we have met on CS meeting although we had already emailed for a while. Since that time we keep in touch pretty often. Very trustworthy and very friendly guy!

Chris stayed with me his first 2 nights in California. He was my first couchsurfer and it was great for me because this summer I will visit Poland after my big Greek adventure. Chris is a great guy and I will see his smiling face again in August. By then he should be and expert surfer.

The best night was of course the night were there were 5 couch surfers staying over at his apartment and we got drunk and silly.

Chris resparked the hilarity that is Jean Claude Van Damme in my life. The bizzareness of this new found memory of jumping helicopter kicks and completely non sensical personal dialogue is one I will never forget. He was also an incredibly generous host and a good mate. Even the dark, sweaty hell of mirrors night club complete with its shirtless men dancing with sunglasses in the scary red glow would not spoil my fond memories.(Haha dont be scared folks it wasnt his fault at all, and actually pretty funny) Rock on Chris! If we can meet up again we will double the Kamikaze dose!

A Boy's World

Chris was super-hospitable. He let us stay at his place although he himself had only just arrived back from a travel and was just unpacking when we came. He showed us some real good places to eat out and shared some serious, fun, or utterly weird videos with us. The same with music. He took us around to some friends of his and also gave us a door-key on our own so we had the pleasure of letting him in in return when he'd forgotten to take his own once, and hiding in the dark flat to go "BOO" another time when he came in with another guest at late night... It was never boring at his place.

 

ARTLITE is a very helpful person. When we contacted him on short notice, he allowed us to surf his couch and even gave us a key to his appartment. He also showed us around town and gave us general tips and hints. Overall a very pleasant experience.
PS: Don't follow him if he starts running across a street :-P

Chris is one crazy mofo! And I mean that in the best possible way. haha Countless occassions I was simply looking to have a good time, I'd swing by his place and he'd always know just the remedy. Whether that meant sampling Warsaw's exclusive nightlife, flying to Spain to get away from the cold or getting piss-drunk and howling at the moon. Chris is a really outgoing, funny person..he likes to talk a lot, but when he plays the guitar and sings, the world is standing still...respect respect for his musicality!!!!!

I met him in Dortmund over Irini. We watched several games together and it was very nice to talk to him. I brought him to the airport with Irini :D Hope to see him again, maybe sometime in Poland.

Hey! It`s quite a long time ago that Chris surfed my couch, but I still remember it like it was yesterday;-) We had some really good talk about personality & stuff like that, and he entertained my cats dreadful:-)) I think one day he`ll rule polish television...

My first couchsurfing experience. This guy put me up for 4 nights and I had an awesome time! He showed me the local pub and took me to cheap supermarkets etc. and generally made me feel very welcome. Cheers dude!

When Christopher stayed at my place, I wasn't even around until the very last day of his stay, so I only got to spend a few hours with him. Even so - I have hardly never seen a guy appreciate chocolate like him, he can enjoy tiny little things like a child does, and he makes you draw butterflies and flowers all over the place - it's simply a pleasure to have him surf your couch! ;-)

Great guy, easy to get a long with and great fun! Very hospitable, highly recommend!

surfed one night with chris and had a kick ass time with the polska crew! saw an amazing free concert, symphony, lights+fireworks. just awesome. and then followed it up with some late night soccer (with a beach ball of course) and frisbee.

he made warsaw fun, without him...it would have been a dark day indeed ;)

Great host who loves Sponge Bob & The Red Hot Chili Peppers! Had a wonderful stay at Chris' place! I much enjoyed our trip to the royal park and his friend's pub (mmmmm ginger beer ;)). He even went out of his way to pick me up from the busy train station... Thanx a bunch!!

time of my life???? ok, dunno what to start with:)Chris is a person who craves for andventure. he likes doin things that are unusual, crazy and sometimes completely unreasonable. But it's, I guess, something u like him for. At least that's how I remembered him. There's no way u can get bored with him. He has got plenty of thoughts a second. I met him in a crazy time of my life. We had plenty of good moments. Surrounded by the beauty of California. yeah, it was great. take care chris.

Easy going guests! I hosted Chris and Monica for an evening. Both of them are very nice and "low maintenance" guests. Will offer them again. Good luck on your travels!

 

Chris is a good houseguest & friendly guy. Chris has stayed at my flat in Marina del Rey for several days, and is a fine guest. Good conversation, funny jokes, and plays some pretty good guitar, though he denies it! I verified his passport, but I don't see a checkbox for that here like on HospitalityClub.org ---

cool couple! chris and his girlfriend monica were wonderful guests! they were super friendly and polite and had plenty of great stories to share. then chris played some really cool songs on my guitar!
