Hey! Just got You a new sofa!
I live by myself. Have no pets. But wouldn't mind them as long as they act like mature mammals. And no acts of mating.
Smoke on the balcony, please!
Contact me for more details. I got a car so I may show you around if I'm not busy. My sleep is flexible. Depends on a mode. I got two - "party animal mode" and "chill out mode". 3 days is just about right for me I suppose, but I'm open to hear your stories.

Personal DescriptionGals, Ladies, Folks, Dudes, Mates, Blokes, Mamas, Papas, Pals and & whoever reads this! I'd love you to be a guest to my house. I'm easy to deal with, cheerful and most of the time enjoyable creature. I'm a self-appointed messiah to the world. You have to pray now. Yep. You're right. That was bulshit. But I am a self-appointed, avowed couchgiver. Guess I'm paying off debts I owe people after my voyage to California (2005) when I came across lots of unconditional hospitality and care (yeah Lorenzo - greetz).
Let's make a deal then. You don't take advantage of my hospitality and I'll give you my couch. Cool, huh? No better spot in Warsaw (never trust Andrzej Grzesik if he claims different, he's a KGB spy). I live a nice, cozy apartment in a block of flats. It's right next to The Royal Park of Lazienki which I personally find most interesting in Warsaw (yeah, trees can't get any better than there, folks!)
Here's a little small story to make me even more desirable than before. Warsaws' Zamek Krolewski ( Royal Castle - you can actually see me there standing - in the pic with L. Walesa // main folder) was a stop for his highness Napoleon I Bonaparte before he carried on to conquer Russia (that never happened of course). But what happened was he met a chick there in January 1807. Her name was Maria Walewska.
Rumor has it they would make out in the Royal Park! He'd lock the gate to the park and wander around with her by the side. They'd be naughty there and so on. Yea folks, the park is worth seeing. A breeze of history over there! Anyway, it's only 2-minute walk there from my place.
Vistula river is right by my house (yea I for I live in a shipwreck). So if you like long walks along the river alongside tens of others so much like you and some city pollution everywhere then hey! Another advantage!
Surroundings are really peaceful and quiet - contrary
to the sprawling city center noise. You can have a look at two of my friend's pics from The Royal Park of Lazienki depicting oldschoolness of that place! /be sure to check all of them in my Warsaw Folder Pics!/ :
Then again - Palace of Culture and Science and Old Town would be only around 3-5 bus stops (8-12 minutes).
I can offer you a separate room, though flat is kinda small and privacy will be hard to obtain. Plus you know - most of the time life makes me wanna smile and laugh, but sometimes it makes me wanna take the toaster in a bath and then I'm bad. J/K. Good luck to all you travelers - enjoy Warsaw and other corners of the World! Enjoy my further writing too. How I Participate in CS

I'm there for you, people! CouchSurfing ExperienceI'm on hospitalityclub (.org) too Interests Traveling, weight-lifting, playing drums, guitar. Singing my vocal cords off. They're rather simple. I like simplicity and simple pleasures of life to ease its burden somewhat.
I used to be a :
freak - went to many gigs in the past (and still going). You see! Now you know how to make my day. No, actually I could do with a new camera more.
I'm flexible - journalists have no particular interests. They're intrested in everything that makes this world go round. And yes - I'm interested in YOU and helping YOU out as well =) Just give me a credit (credit card. I accept all) Philosophy .: What you got you got to give it out. :.

I love mother nature. Nature is mystical even without me having to interprete it. I find sort of the simple pleasures of life more appealing than complex and complicated pleasures of life. And to me simple pleasures of life include mother nature, whether its animals, mountains, oceans, trees or rivers - I enjoy this type of atmosphere. I respect it and I appreciate it a lot more than I do with the artificial, man-made atmosphere of this planet. I got this sort of god*connection with nature. It makes me feel good. It inspires me. It makes me more humble. It makes me happy and I'm happy to be happy. Enjoying nature means reacting-away from narcissism for me too.
Music, Movies, Books Movies? David Fincher & Roland Emmerich!

Books? Ryszard Kapuscinski!
Music?

Authenticity & genuineness is what I look for in there. Music's turning to the mainstream. Much like poop flowing with the current. All trendy, catchy, made of plastic, lipstick - bRaInLesS. Most bands these days are too formula-oriented, too concerned to fit into the category, to be an instant flow of cash, to be on the radio. And not concern with just expression of themselves on an original manner. I admire musicians who are honest to themselves, to their art of creating process. They do the best they can naturally. Without alternate for the sake of business. They're not businessmen
The guy can sing appalling, terrifying, his guitar may be out-of-tune, he may have only 4 strings* to release the potential - but If he wants to tell a good story. His story... and the story is catchy, it's not a #fuzzy sham# - WELL... COUNT ME IN!
* Try J. Frusciante - Usually Just A T-Shirt Types of People I enjoyEveryone who makes me laugh. And those who look like Tyra Banks back when she was only in her 40s.
Actors? Dolph Lundgren cos he's the only bodybuilder I know of to have studied at MIT.
Actresses? Scarlett Johansson cos we share same birthday
Teach, Learn, ShareI love to play instruments. Always eager to learn to play new!
One Amazing Thing I've Seen or Done Doing?! I'm much of a moment catcher. Maybe delivering big macs to Jim Carrey at Wilshire Blvd in LA? Riding harley-davidson through Thailand? Nothing? I was 14! How about now?

Seeing? I like that episode of Gilligan´s Island where Gilligan gets sick of being teased and he breaks into the Professor's lab and makes some LSD. Wish I knew how to do that! ;)
Opinion on the CouchSurfing.org Project How about I flip CS a bird and reveal my opinion on traveling instead? Let's take a moment altogether to show CS the big finger now. I think a little contribution won't kill you. Thanks. I would also like to take a moment to congratulate myself on this smart idea. So. Where was I. Traveling to me stands for a chance. Chance to understand others and differences better. This is my goal - to be one with you people, to be united. And to respect the right of others to be different is maybe even greater.

From LEEBEAR Ridgecrest, United States Oct 30, 2007 Positive Chris and his friend were the first surfers I’ve hosted; what a great introduction to this community! I thoroughly enjoyed their company and conversation. And vodka.:) Chris is kind and curious, and intelligent in so many ways. He’ll charm you with his fun, engaging personality and inspire you to be a better person. One evening with Chris challenged me to set higher expectations for myself and have more ambition to take risks and live life in the pursuit of my dreams. The way he lives his life encourages me to learn everything I can about this diverse world in which we live, and yet reminds me how alike we are on the inside. I’m so grateful! And as the courteous surfer that he is, he never complained (in English, anyway) about the accommodations, the incessant barking of the dog next door (well…maybe once), and having to drink from lowly jars. Hanging out with Chris was good fun, and I hope we’ll meet again someday!

From Murtaza Haq Sydney, Australia Jun 6, 2007 Positive Chris resparked the hilarity that is Jean Claude Van Damme in my life. The bizzareness of this new found memory of jumping helicopter kicks and completely non sensical personal dialogue is one I will never forget. He was also an incredibly generous host and a good mate. Even the dark, sweaty hell of mirrors night club complete with its shirtless men dancing with sunglasses in the scary red glow would not spoil my fond memories.(Haha dont be scared folks it wasnt his fault at all, and actually pretty funny) Rock on Chris! From KAOXONI Cologne, Germany Jan 4, 2007 Positive A Boy's World
Chris was super-hospitable. He let us stay at his place although he himself had only just arrived back from a travel and was just unpacking when we came. He showed us some real good places to eat out and shared some serious, fun, or utterly weird videos with us. The same with music. He took us around to some friends of his and also gave us a door-key on our own so we had the pleasure of letting him in in return when he'd forgotten to take his own once, and hiding in the dark flat to go "BOO" another time when he came in with another guest at late night... It was never boring at his place.
From NACHTAKTIV Zurich, Switzerland Jan 3, 2007 Positive ARTLITE is a very helpful person. When we contacted him on short notice, he allowed us to surf his couch and even gave us a key to his appartment. He also showed us around town and gave us general tips and hints. Overall a very pleasant experience.
PS: Don't follow him if he starts running across a street :-P

From CHRYSTLE Vienna, Austria Sep 6, 2006 Positive When Christopher stayed at my place, I wasn't even around until the very last day of his stay, so I only got to spend a few hours with him. Even so - I have hardly never seen a guy appreciate chocolate like him, he can enjoy tiny little things like a child does, and he makes you draw butterflies and flowers all over the place - it's simply a pleasure to have him surf your couch! ;-)
