Augustas Kligys

 

I used to follow Augustas' and his girlfriends trips online. Finally had the chance to meet him in person when I was in Vilnius. Great guy...

Augustas is my friend for more than 10years.. Good travel partner, interesting person, party games organizer ;), magician, has an good sense of humor, though sometimes it could sound a bit rude :P

 

Wow...what can I say. Augustas and Katja hosted us in Aalborg...and we saw hospitality and kindness at its best!! They are so interesting people, deep, friendly, considerate, understanding and helpful. Though I could not spend as much time with them as I'd like to, I can say that I like them very much and would trust them with anything. Meet this wonderful couple!

 

It is always refreshing to meet people who come out of the norm. Augustas and Katja live in an alternative way which we do not have the chance to see often. They were the perfect guests and I really enjoyed getting that 'curse of the duck' from you. Our paths will probably encounter again. Best.

Augustus helped us out by buying some train tickets in Vilnius when we couldn't do it from the UK. This really helped us out. We met up for lunch and they seem like a really cool couple.

Augustas visited us on the CS meeting in Oostende. He's a very interesting guy, travelling = living for him, and we can all hope to embrace this philosophy.

Augustas is one of the biggest travelers I know. He knows how to enjoy the live.

 

Sometimes you meet special people and other times you meet really special people. Augustas & Katja are a couple you won't find anywhere else. One of a kind. It was really nice to share some time with them in Valparaiso. Maybe the next time in Europe... who knows!

Augustas is a good man, he has done social works, working to give to the poor people with to his girlfriend.

Augustas and his girlfriend Katja - in a meanwhile as well full time travelers shared with us their small room in Cuenca. Very helpful, very open minded with lots of interesting thoughts and ideas, which put a new view on traveling as such. Guys, hope to hear from you one day again and good luck on your travels :-)

I hosted Augustas in Panama (my family still missing you guys) we talk about many things, traveling, culture, buddism, he cooked for us, and after almost a year we still in contact, she is really friendly..please if you have the chance to meet him, you will enjoy for sure.. take care and keep following the road! :D wish you the best of you both guys

I met Augustas and Kati while surfing in Helen's home. They are really great guys. I wish them the best luck in the world with their wonderful project.

Although Augustas and I are from very different parts of the world, our work and perhaps passion for travel brought us together to work on a web project together. I've had a great time getting to know him and his partner Katja during their rest stop in Cuenca.

It has been a wonderful experience.I really appreciate Augustas´ sense of trust and diligence.

Augustas & Katja are true travellers...we met them in Ecuador, but we are sure we'll meet somewhere else in south america...

I met Augustas back in Eucador, when he was one of my first CS friends. He struck me right away as a very interesting man. By the time our paths parted I knew I had met a truly beautiful, inspirational person, not to mention that he's an international hitch-hiker extrordinare! Like Jack Keroack times ten. Keep living the dream!

Augustas is special in many ways. Traveller. Dreamer. Makes people happy... uses every oportunity of life and cherish every single experience he gets, be it good or bad...

 

Augustas and Katja set off on an amazing journey to hitch-hike the world over 18 months ago. We met them at the CS meeting in Cuenca and it turned out right away we had quite a few things in common. A couple of days later they invited us to their place for a delicious vegetarian lunch. They both make a very nice and interesting couple & I wish we had spent more time together... Many Happy Travels, guys & see you on the road :-)

 

We met Augustas and Katja in Cuenca, Ecuador on the Couchsurfing meeting. They also invited us for a delicious lunch together with other CS members. They are very nice and interesting couple, at the moment hitch hiking around the world. Good luck to you guys on the road, hopefully our ways will cross once again.

Augustas is such an amazing beoynd-words adventurer, that I have absolutely not words to describe! By far one of the most travelled and experienced explorers I have ever met. I always remember how he doesn't like to sleep because he likes to live as much as possible. Hoping to see you one of these days again!

hey Augustas! How're you doing?... Augustas is a interesting traveler, he and Katja stayed home during some days, they are good talkers, smart, easy-going and with global vision, maybe because they have traveled that much :D hehe, great hitch-hikers and good persons above all.

We met while we were both visiting the same CS host, and realized that we had been reading about each other online through www.digihitch.com. Crazy!

 

OK - this guys IS scary! I mean how many people have guts to discard standards and live the weird Dream?! Nonconformist, smart, original, strong-willed and funny guy. Its was a pleasure meeting him.

Though I always get to smile when I remember that he hitchhiked through the whole continent of Africa and still didn't knew what a 'Bedouin' is - it was fun teasing him :D

 

Augustas is really special, I admire so much how he's living his life, with no constraints

 

This is my man! Sometimes parents expect from their children to realize parent's dreams. I feel the same about Augustas - he is realizing my dreams, which are not yet realized by me :-)
He is really different, he has "proper" style of humor, he likes original ideas, he supports original initiatives, he likes challenges and action.
And I like him :-)

We met through Couch Surfing correspondence. We compared notes about "hardcore travelling" and learned a lot from each other. We then went to a meeting at a Society of Friends house and had fun as we got to know people from different culutures.

 

It was nice to meet Augustas and her girlfriend and show them downtown during the weekend. Badly I didn't have much time during the week, but they're allways welcome to come back. Take care.

 

Very interesting and great experiece was to meet Augustas after mails. He is a polite, friendly and respectful guy, with a very interesting background on traveling and with a beautiful project on his current trip.

Very reliable guy who really shares ! We met through our website and Augustas has been great with us- sharing his contacts and friends to help with our project. He did for us what he proposed to do and even more and we are very grateful. As we met several of his friends we feel that we know him a bit already and hope to meet him some day somewhere !
