unfortunally i hosted Aiste just for one night, but anyway i am very lucky that i met her.
she has a wonderfull soul and she is very nice person, good talking, good fun, good artist and good student.
she is a great photogapher (thanks a lot for the pictures, i am waiting you will be famous)

A lot of girls would like to be special, Eiste just is, completely, naturally.

Eiste can really surprise, not because sometimes she decide to make strange things, but because Eiste is naturally completely uncommon in unexpected moment of ordinary life.

Aiste, Aiste... she is a special person you should definately host one day! She is a very curious person with whom you can talk about many interesting things; she even helped me and my band promoting one of our concerts! How cool is that? I don't know where to begin? She's the one and only First Class Couchsurfer. We did many things in Alicante, like go to the beach, go out in the night (mmm beer) and maybe sometimes we climb mountains for nothing... typical of us.

Definitely, we have good times and we could talk about almost everything, with her is so easy because she hears you with the five senses and she's very respectful.I'm proud to know her.

Aiste is such a surfer with whom you cant have any problem at all. She is flexible and enduring so that she did not complain even when we could not give her proper pillow to sleep :))

Indeed we had a hard time finding each other in Toledo but eventually it went smooth. Aiste is very kind and bright, she helped me understand why Adam Mickiewicz's nationality paradox better and a couple of other history issues as well!;) Took an active part in my house party preparations and, finally, taught me how to cook rice tastier. So I got smarter overall:) Great CS experience, thanks, Aiste!

I asked her (w\ short notice) a roof over my head and I found myself on her roof. There, above all, we had a nice conversation. Those conversations that make you still believe in people. Thank you Aiste

Interesting, arty, smart and entertaining personality. Sure very nice to have met her, and stay in touch - who knows where we'll meet again in this small world.

 

Aiste was the first person to surf my couch (finally! :) ) and it was a very nice experience! She is a very friendly, interested, interesting and positiv person, I can only recommend to offer her your couch if she asks you, you for sure won´t regret it! :-) It is very nice to spend time with her, but she is also very fine on her own if you need some time for yourself. I´m looking forward to see her again some time!

she rocks! + she gives you awesome pics when she leaves. hope she had fun in scientist party. she is cool to talk to. we had some interesting conversations!

she helped me in cleaning up the mess after party! what more can u ask from a guest!

Aisté was very friendly, nice and intelligent while staying with us.

Watch out for this girl cos she's a Black Sabbath fan! Just Kidding :) Seriously, it's very pleasant to have Aiste around as a guest. She just goes with the flow and can share some interesting facts about Lithuanian culture like old sayings and crappy music.

I wish you many good-hair-days and want you to know my door will always be open for you. Also I can't wait to receive the invitation for your first exhibition. Kudos!

 

Sweet, sweet Aiste. I'm so happy that I had the chance to host her in Antwerp. She's absolute into arts. She's funny, smart, easy going, a good walker and very proud of Lithuania (and why not?). Aiste is a real CS expert and you can absolutely see that. She's easy to host and helpful.
Hope you enjoyed your stay, the beer, the cold, the drummer that looks like Mr Bean and croissanterie Paris.

days of good food, fun, talks, photo's clubs & presents with our special dutch friend Sinterklaas! Good time and great people thanks for opening your house 2 us!

Aiste is a wonderful girl and host. Me and 6 other people were lucky to stay at her place and have a great time together. I enjoyed all our conversations, parties, meals, crazy dances and group photos we had. She made us feel so comfortable at her place, we just couldn't find better host.
Now i'm waiting for you in Krakow, you already know you are veryyyyy welcome at my place and of course we have to organize our trip to Morocco.

I haven't encountered so welcoming and genuine person in a long time. The moment I saw her I knew we'd get along immediately. Our stay at Aiste's place was short of wonderful. Can't wait to repay her for all her kindness and host her in Krakow. btw. i'm looking forward to our trip to Maroko;) you're welcome at my place whenever you come;)

Aiste is a pleasure to be around. She is easygoing and patient, funny in her remarks and, what is even more important in extreme situations: she can still laugh about a fish face after 5 hours trapped in a car driving on snow ;-) Thanks for being such a nice company Aiste. Don't change!

I've met Aiste around Rotterdam at various events. But, I got to know her better on a trip to Metz to explore forts. She's adventurous, can do strange things with her face, and is not annoying at all!(I know this after having spent 7 hours in a car with her in a snow storm).

Aisted, a tough cookie. She is so determined on what she wants and works hard on it. Never give up! Thx for the pic and I successfully brought it back to Delft=) sure I will see you again maybe on some magazines!! ha!

We hosted Aiste two nights, but unfortunately, we were very busy these two days, so we cannot spend a lot of time with her. What a shame, Aiste is so nice and she seems to be very interesting. Thank you so much for the beautiful photo you offer us.

 

Aiste is a very kind person, who shared with me and my flatmates Nidia and David a lots of adventures and experiences. Trustful person and I recommend everyone to meet Aiste.

Aiste lived with me for a couple of days. We lived in the colorful rooms of a British happy hippie in Rotterdam. Good times..

aiste helped me to find a new room in rotterdam when my old landlord wanted to kick me out of her appartment. its kind of an odd experience, but it showed me that couchsurfing is not just a community where people share their couches, but actually a place where people from all over the world try to help each other out as much as possible, no matter what issue they're dealing with.

thanks so much, aiste! i owe you at least another beer or coffee when i see you around!

 

She is great and I have the chance to be one of her flatmate. So much delicious dinner and fun evening... "Aiste are serious" no... she was joking... She is a funny girl. It is a pleasure to share this appartment with you.

Despite going to work and spending a lot of time (even during the nights) to watch the 2008 Beijing Olympics I hosted Aiste for two weeks as she was trying to find an appartment within the city. She is a very friendly person, she does the dishes, groceries and she can even cook, mostly rice ;) She likes to play games, wether it be board games or pool billiards, she's interested and determined to win ! I'm glad she found her own place now, but she's always welcome to come back here.

I hosted Aiste for one night then I brought her to my best friend's house and we shared a really great evening!

 

I hosted Aiste for a week and it was a pleasure. I've learned a lot about Lithuanian culture! She is very funny and easy going girl! We have lot of fun travellnig around and almost every night watching a different movie!

Aiste is a nice and a lovely girl, patient too because I think she was the victim of the shit organization of my week-end and my last minute duties. I really hope you could succeed in painting a day ... and enjoy your erasmus project next year at 100% !!

She has been my first guest of couchsurfing, and I really think that I was lucky, because its tranquillity and kindness have helped me to trust in the project and especially where the people are friendly and grateful. We could not live much, but I took a great souvenir of your stay in my house.

One more time I was really lucky! I give 10 points to her, for so many reasons. But one of them is She knows how to stay with people, because she have a good balance inner self. You could see that on her smile, and shining eyes. She appreciates all the things we do, and at the end we laught together and found a real friendship.

 

Having a great time with Aiste is really easy! You only have to share some days of your life with her and you'll see that she is a nice girl, very respectuous and polite, friendly, simple and sincere. Her sensitivity allows her to feel the beauty or the ugliness of the things that she see. She was in my home during a week and when we got a little bit more of confidence we could mix our sense of humor!

 

I have hosted Aiste during 4 days in June 2008, she has suffered a lot : walking at least 25 km a day, watching the match of France during Euro 2008, going to see some bad concerts (at least one over two), playing guitar hero, and so on ... But even with these things I haven't eared any complain from her !
She's really a nice and interesting person, she can even make you psychoanalysis. Actually I have an inkling she's a shrink and not an artist ^_^

Aiste is a really smart girl. She (as well as her friend Jeva) is also inquisitive and curious. We met them both in Bolognia, at the very beginning of their Italian travel. Hope that it passed well!!!

Aiste is just like those she's going to create: an artwork.

By the way, what a pity for her memory! but is known, faults are trademarks of original artworks.

They have been both good guests,happy and with their head on the clouds.It's been a shame i had to study a lot for my exams, so we couldn't have good nights out.

I picked Aiste and Jeva at the train station. I wanted to take both for a drink but after a long day, they were tired to go to a bar, but finally at 01am they joined me and I showed them luxemburg by night, just briefly cause it was cold.Friday evening Jeva song for us some traditional Lithuanian music and we tried this (herbal stuff) We had great fun, both are really nice and open, they enjoy the silence aswell as going to parties. Always welcome, and next time directly by bus:-))

 

I hosted Aiste and her friend for 3 nights but we were all so busy that we didn't get a chance to see much of each other. Quiet guests though, very experienced travelers and lovers of art! Get ready, I bet they're coming to your town soon!

 

Aiste, Ona and Egle are really great. We had really interesting talks about everything, we laughed a lot watching the simpsons (these girls are big simpsons fans by the way \o/) or the monty pynthon, or simply having beers and laughing.

 

Aiste, Ona and Egle stayed 4 nights in my place. I won't say it was a bad time but we were not on the same move. I'm somebody really fast and they were more calm. I really tried to do my best and to host them well and I hope they appreciated it but unfortunately we never really succeeded in the difficult art of communication. But I'm sure that Aiste (moreover if she's alone) will get along with most of her hosts in the future. and thanks for the lithuanian DVD.

Aiste and her two friends stayed at our place for three nights. Unfortunately we were very busy then so we didn't manage to spend a lot of time together. Nevertheless it was nice meeting them. Thank you so much for der DVD; at least we got a glimpse of lithuanian culture.

 

Aiste and her two friends stayed with me in Geneva for a night. Three Lithuantian artists - how cool!! They are very nice, polite and pleasant company. Aiste also has some excellent pagan music from her country that's quite intense. Excellent guests - thanks girls !!!
