victor and becky were very fun. they came all the way to tn for the rc cola/moonpie festival. gotta love it. and that dude can drink some beer.

Sir Victor was the first person I met of CS (basically, he stole my virginity). He threw me on the handles of his bike and so began a tumultuous bike adventure through the free beer of gallery openings, graffiti murals, strange centralized neighborhoods with too many roses, front porches and backyard bathroom breaks -- all to the sounds of country. Ended the night with habanero cheese of neighbors and cookies. Yessir, a glorious night.

 

Victor taught me the meaning of fun.

Particularly, improvising blues guitar never worked for me until V pulled out a second-hand Stella and lay down a groove. That's all it took.

Beckey was cool. Major props to her for keeping the vibe mellow. And thanks to both of you for checking out Louisville and giving us a Thumbs Up. Right back atcha.

 

Victor and Becky surfed my place one night and we talked alot and ate Mexican. I had a great time with them and look forward to seeing them when I get into Portland. Hope the rest of your trip went well!

Victor and his lady type friend Becky were awesome! I dream of meeting up on bicycles someday.

The time in portland was hysterical, not a day goes by when i dont wish i was back in portland riding bikes throughout the forest, breweries, food stands, tripped out night parades, coffee shops and so forth...Portland is weird and so is victor, yet so am i.

Gosh damn victor. staying up on your couch, riding bikes round your city, in smokey late night parks, while watching parades in people swimming fountains on tech decks, may have been the best time ever! muchas gracias my friend. surely we'll meet again sometime!

Victor was a great couchsurfer (as well as a sick one, damn airplanes) & I plan on meeting up with him again while I stay here in Portland.

Victor and his roommate Jake, who couchsurfed at my friend's apartment in Seattle, are creative and interesting. They are intrigued by the world and like having talks with everyone they meet, I think. They're nice folks.

victor has the right attitude and approach to creating and inviting moments of community among strangers, he's an open, generous, trusting guy, i really appreciate the time we had together and hope to get to know him more

Victor is full of energy. I don't know how he does it! I tried keeping up with him and lasted two days. He never stopped, and probably still hasn't.

My surf with Victor was a really excellent experience. He and his roommate/fellow CSer, Jake, are true ambassadors: to couchsurfing, and to Portland. I feel like I really got to see Portland, and am so glad it was all done by bicycle!

If you're lucky, he'll even sing a little Willie Nelson karaoke.

Alls I can say is that he is an ambassador here in PDX for a reason! He knows lots of great people, knows how to show someone new a great time here and knows even more about stuff!! He also warms my heart and look forward to hanging with him some more when he gets back from his most recent adventure!

i had a fantastic time with victor and his roommate jake. we biked all around and did so many awesome things i cant even count 'em. victor likes Stuff. thats cool. he's a ridiculous and entertaining individual- always a pleasure to be around. and the couch was pretty nice too.

 

love of pearl jam aside (haha) Victor is funny, super nice, and does a killer skid stop. plus, i hear from his boss that he never gets in trouble at work...NEVER.

I was looking forward to do some cooking with Victor... But by the time he arrived I came down with a nasty cold! Poor Victor spent the evening by himself. Next morning we have a chance to exchanged stories... He's very cool guy... You are welcome back any time Victor!

Update: July 2007: Its turn out we know a few mutual CS friends! Come back to visit Victor! This time the Lion and Tiger are waiting in the front proch!

Poor Victor got the flu on my couch and then I had to kick him out. But besides that it was a good time. Victor makes yummy food and is fun to have around. Hopefully I'll see him again when he's back in town.

victor had outrageous stories. always true stories, but outrageous none the less. sweet sweet misses him. he has the most beautiful hair of anyone. i will miss his wonderful curly locks. yup.

Victor mentioned he is an embassador, bringing more and more couchsurfers together will really help this place out

Victor's a lot of fun to have around! He kept apologizing for coming into my life but I was not sorry at all. We had a good time wandering the street(s) of Ashland, sampling different types of beer, and drawing pictures of kangaroos and jam. He may not always make the most sense, both in terms of his lack of logic and his mumbling, but he's a good guy at heart! I hope we meet again Victor.

Victor is not only entertaining but also has a very sweet heart. He was a joy to have around and was always making us smile. He brings fun and happiness into every situation, including being stuck in a traffic jam for 2 hours. No one should hesitate to let Victor surf. You just might come out a better person for it ;D

Victor is a pretty rocking guy...despite his many warnings not to fall in love with him I did...now i must stalk him unrelentlessly throughout the world....hahaha but for real, Victor is a absolute peach, drunk, sober, anytime anywhere!!

This guy is crazy and fun! we met while surfing w/Crystal Murphy in Bham, and a night (+morning)of drunken maddness ensued! oh yeah, dont forget to clean up that glass. lol

victor is the man, and i feel like i barely even scratched the surface. we had some laughs, saw some mardi gras indians do their thing, and almost walked into a flying bullet. oh yeah and i helped him miss his bus so he could stay on our couch one more night (aw). he's a positive guy.

Haha this kid is fun! No matter what Victor is down for partying and showing the world what he's about. enjoy

Victor keeps it real

Oh Victor...what a unique and strapping young lad. All I can say to some up our experience together is...do you want some whiskey and I'm sorry. (thumbs up). Victor is one of a kind and hilarious. I had a great time with him.

he taught me spanish, we went thift store shopping, and we talked of travel and beautiful women.
it was awesome.

We sat around a fire (candle) drinking goodness (whiskey) while Victor played the guitar (Pearl Jam) on our deck (rickety), in the morning. Victor has long hair (pretty cool).

First moment we met, Victor was passing us a bottle of whiskey, and that didn't really stop until he left! Had some good times hanging out in New Orleans.

I will never forget the profoundly moving, deeply spiritual religious experience of linger over an imaginary bonfire that exists in the vacuum of space in the backseat of Michelle's car as we headed to Frenchmen and Victor and I discovered a mutual "love for Jesus" that nearly caused the eyeballs of all passer-by to explode from the holy miracle that was our bond. Under light of the ATM machine in the darkness that surrounds the Voodoo Mart on Canal, a miracle did occur in the form of an unwritten transgression that was magical and included dancing lamposts and a soundtrack from the roaring 20s. Yeah, Victor's a good man. No lies spoken. None. I'm so thirsty.

 

Victor came to Baton Rouge and brought the whiskey and Raleigh cigarettes. These were laid back, fun times.

Victor is really cool! He can play the guitar and he helpped me fix my bike. It was way awesome to hang out with him for a few days here in Austin and go to some shows and go to barton springs and so on. You should let him surf with you and all that groovy kind of stuff. :)

He likes tacos, what else can I say. I am sure his trip will end up the way he planned it because he is such an organized young man. :p

very cool dude. Yall ain't never been around a cooler guy that loves making fun of Texans. up for anything and that is aweseome! He especially loves rodeos! ;)

 

Victor helped my room mate move into my house... bought us Blue Bell Icecream... He is a great guy!

It was good to share some laughs, philosophies, and tears. I had a good time hanging with this dude in Lyon, France. Orale buey!

 

Victor is a mean, badass motherfucker who wears a luchador mask at night to brighten peoples days while riding down the street in search of tacos... need I say more?

He is very funny, easy-going and helpful boy. He never complains. He is very talkative, we spent hours sharing interesting stories. I felt that I met him forever. You are welcome back any time Victor, also you promise to come back! Say yes to Victor, you'll just love him!

Victor is a funny and nice guy, relaxed, but talkative and very keen on music and meeting people. He came to see the concert, but then got the opportunity to discover a new town. Beside this Victor really wants to show his skills and to be helpful in cooking.

I stayed on Victor's couch when I was between places in Portland, then Victor moved out too and we surfed couches together. It was magical, the best time of my life, we cuddled, and shared secrets, and wrote poems together. Haha, no, not really, but it was a good time. I love Victor! He's the best! Yay for Victor! Yay!

Hosting Victor was so nice! He cook for me and my family and we enjoy the dinner very much (mexican food, wow!). He's a Pearl Jam supporter, really crazy for their music.

Victor and his bike came home late and tired. After some days here he and his bike have better face :-) Na, nice boy discovering the wide world. Smart and openminded, we have enjoyed some trips together, it is nice to contribute to his travel experience, wish him a good luck!

Victor is always fun, but if I were you, I would never give him Scotch. We were there and we are the only ones who know exactly what it means. ;) Cabrooon!!!! =P

my twin brother was working and I "hosted" him at my brother's house ! Nice experience.
At first he lent me his bike at 9pm to fetch the key of the appartment somewhere in Paris !
We talk about a lot of different topics, and Victor is a great guitare player, keen on Pearl Jam.

Victor is just Victor. He walks his own path in life. He's a good guy, just take him as he is. You can be straight forward with him and, above all, you can really trust him.

Victor = RAWK! great for late nite entertainment and doesnt believe in taking his time in the scotch. :P hope the rest of europe works out for ya!

 

i was supposed to host him, but because of circumstances in my building i had to stay over at friends, so i organised him a place to stay at some other hc-members. still, i had some talks with him, and i think he is a very cool guy to hang out with, and next time i am definately going to host him for real.

Victor is a cool guy - great charactor for doing a cycling trip around Europe on his own! An undemanding surfer and very chilled! He will meet many people and make loads of friends - if you see this guy along the way offer him a couch - you'll be glad!
