Liuba surfed my couch with her friend Elena. They are two sweet Russian girls on their way to fame. :) They like singing at open mics, where I had a lot of fun. They invited me to a concert, we went to house parties, a park, and several other places. Liuba is a CouchSurfing example, she has the perfect personality and makes friends everywhere very easily. She makes the best pancakes, so ask for them!

 

Liuba and Elena were definitely fun guests! We had a lot of fun relaxing in Dolores park and dancing to strong Beats under the Sun!

The most easy-going and flowing person wherever we go, like dancing in the middle of the street (without drinking champagne!)... So Courageous, to go to unknown places without being afraid!

Liuba is a couchsurfing addict. A funny, nice, smart couchsurfer. If you miss couchsurfing with Liuba, you are missing a lot!

Liuba and Elena laugh a lot. It is nice. At first I only wanted to host them so I could fill out Russia and Ukraine on my map but now then mean so much more to me than some extra red in my profile. They are fun to talk to and hang out with and they laugh and play music and sing songs and make pancakes with your bananas. THEY took ME to a bar that I've never been to for an open mic night. It was very cool. I wasn't probably cool enough to be there but it was fun to see and awesome to see them perform and it was fun to see Angelo spill a beer on their map and jeans. Haha, hope to see them again sooooon!

A traveller in the true sense of the word Liuba is a very friendly girl that seemed to immediately befriend everyone she met in New York. I was more than happy to help her out in an emergency situation and only hope that our paths cross again some day.

 

Liuba and friends were great! They brought nice conversation and musical talents, and they left a giant pot of Ukrainian-style borscht. Wonderful!

Liuba let me sleep in her room for my last night in New York. She's that rare kind of person that is fun to hang out with all the time ... without beeing superficial. I'm glad I met her and wished we would have shared more time together.

The day we met, Liuba was very nice in giving me some tips for my upcoming trip to Russia. Little did we know that fate was to have us meet again in Шереметьево airport the day of my arrival!

That day she was very gracious and introduced me to other CSers in Moscow and we had great time around town!

We met Liuba in Rostov and then stayed at her place for 2 nights. She is a very welcoming person (as well as her family) and I enjoyed a lot the walk in the nice park close to her home. She also arranged for us to meet other couchsurfers which was so nice.

 

Luba was excellent host. We met even before expected in Rostov where she was showing the city to another CS. And took care of us even when we she could not, finding other CSs to show us around. We experience the russian breakfast and tea was always ready for us. Yaroslavl with Luba is defenitly the best combination after Moscow. Muchas gracias Luba.

This tour ended meeting Deric and going to some random bar. The best part, meeting drunk people inside; as i called the " Potato Store !!" Liuba appeared as a miracle in front of us - two girls knowing nothing about Yaroslavl, standing at the station at 11 pm without any transport to catch. She picked us up and brought to a cosy datcha of the most hospitable people. We planned to stay in Yaroslavl only one night - the next day we changed our tickets to stay 4 days:))) THANK YOU for nursing us in your home town, surperb time we spent there and introducing to such great people!

honestly I usually can't get a person's character , but Liuba was an exception - it was impossible not to understand her essence. Sincere, nice, friendly, easy-going - this impression lasted for all time we spent together. In short a TRUE couchsurfer:)

 

It´s started like with anyone else, amongst all this CS at the Dacha. It continued in the best possible way! Wandering the streets in Moscow with some friends. Generous, caring, smiley, sweet, she deals with everybody in a unique way.

I met Liuba when traveling in Perú. She is a very experienced World traveler. In fact, she is the first traveler like this I met who is from the same country as me! Hopefully you get your papers to come back to NYC and you have better luck keeping them this time!

With her open-mindness, energy and her generosity, Liuba made our stay in Yaroslav unforgettable: She introduced us to her friends, family, took us around and even improved our Russian!

We definitely connected.

It was great of Liuba to agree to help me and two friends less than 24 hours before we arrived in Yaroslavl! She and her parents were wonderful hosts - we could not have asked for more - and it was fun checking out the random discotech, drinking early-morning tea and everything else... Thanks!! :)

Nowadays when you go to a hostel, to find a CS'er is always a great happening! Liuba is a very sweet girl, we were in the same hostel in Lima and gathered for the local CS meeting there. I find her trustworthy and I wish her the best travels!

Liuba and me met at another host´s house in Jersey City. She´s a real fun person and we had great time, although it was a short time. Hope to meet her again somewhere!

 

She just suddenly showed up middle of nowhere at night in downtown LA looking for a couch. Such a nice sweet girl that I couldnt resist to help her. We went to the best rooftop party lounge with 10 CSers and ended up at the swimming pool. Partied at Hollywood's club, karaoke at home and had great Asian foods together. Done so much things together when we have summer weather middle of Nov here! She even cleaned up my messy kicten! Lets go to the pool again!

I was great meeting Liuba, she is a very friendly and warm person. We had a lot of fun at the Art Walk in Downtown LA and also we swam in the swimming pool that is on the roof of the Standard Hotel in Downtown LA at midnight. Great experience.

we partied only briefly at revival and halloween, but our first meeting was fun. she's an interesting girl. don't give her important information unless you intend for her to lose it :)

Liuba is a very nice girl. She is always smiling and always asking questions to learn more about everything. We met a few times in bars (Revival and Union Bar) and we also accidentally saw the New York Marathon in Central Park and had a great time together. Oh, and we met up in LA and Vegas since we were there at the same time too.

 

I met up with Liuba for dinner before heading to Revial, she is pleasant to be with and always smiling. Usually I hate walking so much, but it was Halloween weekend and the city was crazy, we went to a few parties & bars, Liuba knew all the CS parties to go to. I had a lot of fun partying, drinking & dancing the night away. She crashed at my place for 2 nights and she is a very respectful, quiet, & considerate Cser. Liuba is a true enthusiastic of CS project!! I admire her strongness and determination by doing everything. I was amazed by her knowledge on Fine Arts and her interest in local culture while visiting Catalonia. She is very sociable, trustworthy and easy-going. I felt very lucky having the chance to show her my country for a while.

Liuba is a very friendly and open person. I get the feeling that anytime she is around things are more positive and fun.

Liuba is such a beautiful person. She radiates kindness. Absolutely reliable and level-headed, I think she can handle anything (except possibly a Phillipine delegation ^_~). It was just awesome having her around, going to the honey fair, and helping her take photos of bees. She really helped us out by letting me use her credit card to reserve Russian train tickets online because my credit card wouldn't work on the system. Liuba and I were both couhsurfing at the same place a couple of days. She is a very nice, openminded, helpful girl. One of these persons you feel sad to say goodbye to. I would not hesitate a second about hosting her.

We used to live together for some time at a place of our good friend Thythia. Luba is gentle and mild. She is a good photographer and travel-lover. As a person, Luba's quite easy to like. Of course, that's probably not so hard for some boys. Me, personally, she has such a mild personality I can't imagine her getting angry. We suddenly met in the bus from S-Petersburg to Helsinki 02-03.01.08. And we discovered for us, that we have common friends and common plsns in Finland. We walked together around Helsinki and Turku, we hitch-hiked together from Helsinki to Turku. It was very cool!!! ;) And I have recently been Luba's guest in Yaroslavl. All were cool! :)

WOW! A very active surfer!! Liuba and I met through out CS hosts, and ended up going to the gallery, then the opera together. Always questioning life - why people do what they do, forever taking photos with her amazingly HUGE camera, and very excited about all aspects of a 'new' city : its nightlife, art, traditions, music and culture.
