I live with two rommates in the center of Bologna. We all have a single room,I don't have a room for guests so if you surf my house you'll sleep in my room in the couch. You can stay for 1-2 days if you ask me in advance.
I hope to share interests and meet new interesting friends!

I'm 30 years old and actually I felt in love with music! I'm a blues and old-time addicted, I really love to play acoustic blues & ragtime guitar of the '20 and '30, slide guitar, ukulele and old-time clawhammer banjo. I play in the acoustic blues duo "Lazy Step", in 2008 we recorded our first cd called "Blues in the kitchen" and we performed in festivals, clubs and streets throught Italy and Europe. I grow up in a little town between Florence and Pisa (Tuscany, Italy) and in 2000 I moved to Bologna (Emilia Romagna, Italy) to go to University to study Cinema, Music, Arts and Theatre. At University I met the blues and the interest for the old acoustic blues and ragtime guitar and this is changed my life.... Now music became my work so I play as much as I can! I usually go to a lots and lots of concerts because I like live music! I love playing on the street, check out http://fabriziobezzini.blogspot.com . Since September 2011 I started a new project bringing old-time banjo to the streets, I recorded a solo old time banjo cd called "It's only old time banjo... but I like it!"...http://fabriziobezzini.blogspot.com .....crazy project!
I want to say thank you for this wonderful project! During these years I made a lot of friends with couchsurfing and met very interesting people!
How I Participate in CS
I bought my first PC to sign me @ couchsurfing and plan a 70 days USA coast to coast trip with Greyhound and Couchsurfing.... When I come back Italy I helped Bologna's couchsurfing community as CS city ambassador... I love to host and be guest and meet different people!
CouchSurfing Experience
From april to july 2007 I did the trip I always dreamed: coast to coast on the road from New York to San Francisco (by Couchsurfing and Greyhound!!!).
I was very lucky and I found wonderful hosts and wonderful people that become friend and I think this is really a revolutionary project to meet people and to travel! During my trip I saw my favorite blues, bluegrass and rock n' roll musicians in some of the best festivals in the world! (Merlefest,Wilkesboro NC; Jazzfest, New Orleans LA; Doheny Blues Festival, Dana point CA ....).
People and places I really enjoyed:
New York NY.... Joe was my first host and told me:Welcome in USA....He was super and I spent a great interesting time in his wonderful home!!!
Los Angeles CA.....huge city:Hollywood,Venice Beach, Universal Studios, Downtown, Beverly Hills..... I found there Michele,a unique couchsurfer friend that became a really true friend!
Dana Point CA ..... I saw there Doheny Blues Festival, one of the most important and wonderful music festivals in all the world!....Kapri & Forrest made this dream thrue!
San Francisco CA..... I spent there 2 week and my 26th birthday too.... I left my heart in S.Francisco!Rachel, Jay, Jesse, Malika, Kerstin, Krista..... what wonderful people I found there!
Chicago IL..... It's really beautiful city with beautiful music! Adam is one of the best couchsurfer you can meet! Erik and his bike was great!!!
Interests
Playing old time banjo, acustic guitar, slide guitar and ukulele, go to the cinema, travel, know new friends!
Philosophy
You can't always get what you want.... but if you try sometime you may find what you need!!!
Music, Movies, Books
I love Old Time music, Blues,Hawaiian music, Rock n' Roll, Bluegrass, Jazz
Maybe my favourite director is Martin Scorsese but Easy Rider is the movie which changed my life!
Types of People I enjoy
Friendly people who are curious!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play blues with your guitar and enjoy with this all your life!
One Amazing Thing I've Seen or Done
..... In 2003 I spent 25 hours all alone in a train going to Paris just to see a Rolling Stones concert!!!
...I was at Merlefest(North Carolina)and I missed the only one bus(in all the day)that could me get in Grayhound Station in Wiston-Salem ...so I hitch-hiked for 30-40 miles getting my bus on time!
....I did 7900 miles circa by Greyhound during 70 days of trip in USA from east coast to west coast(New York-Winston Salem-New Orleans-Los Angeles-San Francisco-Santa Cruz-Los Angeles-Las Vegas-Grand Canion-Chicago)....I think I'll never take a bus again.....flying is easyer!!!
This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you.
Fabrizio is a very interesting and warm person with a great smile! I admire his passion for music and his courageousness to do the things in live he really loves to do! Fab, bring your music to Amsterdam!
I was planning on meeting Fabrizo for only for a drink, but when I wasnt able to find a pension in Bologna he immediatly invited me to stay at his place, which was fantastic. We had a great time in the city exploring the night life and I ate the best pizza ever,, also it was great to talk about music, and I hope we are able to make a few songs in the future...once again thank you it was alot of fun and i hope we meet again! again thank you!
Meeting up with Frabrizio was really pleasant, too bad I could not manage to come along to the swing-class ... I do look forward to meeting him again :)
I only met Fabrizio for a couple of hours but I would like to spend some more time with him. He's very friendly and interesting. I hope to see you again in ALicante or in Bologna.

We are so glad we finally got to meet Fabrizio, who we had heard about from so many other friends. He is friendly, cheerful, and an amazing musician -- generally just great to hang out with. We will make sure our next visit to Italy includes a stop in Bologna!
I had short but so amazing time in Bologna thanks to Fabrizio!!I totally fall in love with his city, ate the best gelato ever in his great company :) Experienced some sarda and rock n roll dancing with his great friends and roommate, tried delicisous pastas, a limoncello cream to die for... Just felt like home.
I was happy to meet Fabrizio and really felt like familiar souls
Hope to see you in Paris :-)
To surf Fabrizios Couch is something what I can strongly recommend to any couch surfer out there. My stay with him was really interesting. He took me spontaneously to the Ferrara Busker Festival and I had there a good time with him. He cooked for me really nice simple Italian food. In the night he showed me around the city and we ate some really good ice cream (with real pistachios from the south hmm). Thank you again for hosting me I hope that the ice cream shop owner someday wants to open an ice cream shop in San Francisco ;-)
Fabrizio is some kind of genius who's understood what matters in life, so if you're passing by Bologna, you must try to meet the boy and get a bit of his vibe (unless he's on a banjo trip across the world). Keep riding Fabri, grazie per tutto un altra volta, ci vediamo pronto !
Ernesto
Fabrizio was an excellent host and an absolute gentleman! Also an excellent blues player. Thanks very much for making my first CS experience a great one!
