Mike Laudico

 

Mike was quite fun to hang out with! We went tree climbing, played guitar, and hung out amongst the Buffalo/Niagara Couch surfing group gathering at Niagara Falls. I feel this reference doesn't do him justice, as we don't know each other well yet, but I'm sure that will change in time!

Mike seems like a worry free kind of guy who could get by in any situation. It was fun to hear about some of his crazy travel adventures!

 

Mike was a fantastic guest and fun to sit and have a beer with. He is able to tolerate terrible stand up comedy. Thanks for all the Buffalo advice!

Mike is a laid back fella who is open to new experiences and people. Both of us found him to be fun and interresting, and we had a great time hanging with the little group of friends that came out of our trip to China. We hope to see you again, Mike!

I met Mike in India at a chaishop on a mountain and a week later by accident again via funtimefrank. We went travelling together to Ladakh and did some adventerous walking in the mountains, with too heavily loaded backpacks.. Mike is a really good and relax person to hang out with, will see you someday again in the states, cheers

Watched a movie together about a great adventurer, had a few beers and chatted a bit when he was about to finish a very long travel in the East. Biggest traveler I have met in person so far, I guess.

We met in the Pub I work at, throught a friend. Spent two fun evenings together and Mike crashed at my home for a night.
I hope to see him again some time on wich ever continent. He woke my travel-lust and I am shure to go and explore some of the world as he did. I wish him all the best in the future.

It was fun to share mushrooms in the soup with Mike (I'm still wondering what it actually was :) and got inspired by all his travels.. I'm sorry we didn't end up going to the clud for the 2nd time... maybe next time!! :)

Mike is a very interesting guy, quite outspoken and fun to be with. He doesnt drink, but upon insisting he sure does!

Mike is very nice guy with lots of traveling experience. He was very helpful with all the stories from asia, because now i prepare for a trip. I hope i'll meet you somewhere again :)

 

CS gave me another good friend called Mike :) and thanks to Hakkan who introduced us to each other however we had few common good friends before from our travel through CS. :) Mike is fantastic guy with beautiful mind, calm and peaceful soul and really easy going.
It was joy and cheers all time together with Mike in Istanbul. Mike was helpful to me quiet a few times even while he was surfing in other couch. He is a pleasant and cool guy so everyone would loved to meet him so do I. Ceers mate, happy traveling.

There's not probably much I can say that hasn't already been said many times before about this wonderful man; you can simply scroll down on the page and read it all. However I still want to say that Mike is one of those people you feel lucky that you got to know even if a little bit. There's something about him; some pureness and kindness most people don't have. I enjoyed every moment that I spent with him and I'm definitely looking forward to more good times in the future. Mike; who am I gonna team up with against Hakan in tavla now that you're gone???

 

After chasing Mike for some time through half of Asia I finally caught him in Istanbul. We share some philosophy gathered through experience plus Manju.
When talking to him I feel pretty much alive since he's got some kind of aura or however you wanna call it that raises your spirits.

Mıke and I met at a gatherıng organızed by Hakan Yerlikaya. Mıke ıs Hakans's guest and I was told that he had stayed ın Indıa for over 5 months - whıch I thınk ıs quıte some tıme to stay and tolerate Indıa :) !

But Mıke seems to have loved staying here and that ıs the most strıkıng characterıstıc of hıs mınd. I am awed by hıs openness and wıllıng to accept cultures for what they are.

Mıke ıs a cool guy who ıs well traveled and one can never had a borıng tıme wıth hım - sınce there ıs so much to talk about wıth hım. From books to movıes to musıc - he ıs lıke he encyclopaedia for all the cool thıngs around.

I met mike at puneet's place & with loads of beer & forced 1 on him. Suddenly we had a plan 4 the late mountian drive & took mike along with us at 3am in the mrng. mike is nice & down 2 earth person. i was astonished 2 see the globe tatoo. he told me abt his travel tales & i thoroughly enjoyed it.

I knew Mike was a good guy as soon as I saw the globe tattoo on his calf (hee hee). He has awesome CS stories and an impressively adventurous taste in cuisine. Don't be fooled by his chill demeanor, he has a mischievous side for sure, you just have to know how to read the body language: look for the subtle side to side head movement (don't forget to try the bells Mike!)

He is a calm and happy person having a mindset to travel all the places he can n he love Loneliness a lot some time.

He is very friendly and trying to learn hindi and punjabi language in india

Mike Laudico - he is an amazing guy with a great sense of almost everything.
I have all the respect for him, his travel tales, easy going nature, modest way of living,way he works back there in US to earn and fly for different destinations. Mike may be cursing me for his flight rescheduling , but I just hope it was worth his prolonged stay:)

 

By the time Mike left he was more a flatmate and old friend than a couchsurfer. He's gone down in our home's history and everyone who's come after him has heard his stories :)lazy and hazy afternoons, aimlessly fun evenings, discovering delhi (mostly through our stomach) movie nights with tons of junk food, shithead and repeatedly singing yoshimi, oh and putting in nails around the house without a drill or hammer;)...Suffice to say he's an absolutely great guy, meet him and you're sure to fall in love!

Great fun, polite, and a totally chilled out person! If he ever wants to couchsurf with you, say yes. Had an awesome 2 and a half weeks with Mike around!

Met Mike through Spyro and then headed for a Bollywood movie... got a chance to hang out with him a few times after that. Really nice guy who is a bit quiet but gets chirpier as he gets to know you better. Looking forward to meeting him again on his adventures and probably do another Bollywood movie or play shithead.

Mike had shared a good amount of energy while staying at our place in Mysore. Very warm and low-key kind of guy. Had great laugh playing scrabble and enjoyed a couple of good meals. Will always welcome him anytime.

Mike stayed at my place in Mysore with Eric. Great guy with an easy disposition and a refreshing attitude. Mike has lotsa cool stories about his travels. He has the Couchsurfing spirit and is always welcome :)

Mike aka Dookie is a great great care free guy. We met at a common friend's place where he was surfing and i joined in for few days in Bangalore. Introduced me to Shwarmas and a city called Bylacoupe... which i never heard before... Always motivated yet laid back... its great to know you Mr. Dookie...

I feel that everything has already been said about Mike. I loved everything about my stay (the movies, the music, the flat, the flatmate, the crows, the food, i could keep going...). Mike is just awesome. Never got round to say thank you for the postcard from China by the way! ;)

 

Mike is a seasoned surfer and a chilled out travel companion. He joined Spyro, Michael, Murali and me in a spontaneous trip to Hogenakal falls, 200 kms from the city. Ever more sponttaneously, Spyro, me and Mike jumped of the cliff into the river, in that order. I remember Mike waiting on me to jump when i had cold feet over the edge of the cliff. Thanks mate, for watching my back. What started as a light evening snack at a road side dosa stall ended up as a binge of egg dosas. Then we collecively surfed Murali's couch for the night. Hope to see u again sometime.

Mike is a rock. He is the chill of chill and he is a great travel partner. He will follow you arond a subcontinent, even if he gets places first and he is a good friend. Great to have him around.

 

We met in Langkawi, and Mike is really the travelling one man band. Easy going and a lot of fun follows in his tracks. You really made our trip Mike, hope to see you again soon.

Ive known Mike for years ... since the infamous Montreal Gathering, well since the chat frenzy really ... he's a really nice guy, good to talk and is my postcard buddy. i hope to see him again down the road ... hopefully sooner!

 

i can't say enough bout mike - there is something really natural about communicating with him and found him a pleasure to chat with and just be open with - it's like a dance whether it's SMS, phone, email, whatever!

I believe he knows exactly what life is about. If only lot more people would have his spirit, the world would be a real paradise and spiders would be among the extinct species.

I meet few friends that I feel I can instantly click with. Mike's one of those ( lucky :P ) souls.

We spent his stay going chatting, going (with Vigh) for fine dining and movies that may or may not have been of the uber-masculine war movie variety. And, oh, waking up the neighbours singing karaoke LAAATE at night!

I've met Mike a couple times and since like 8 CS friends of mine also know him I figure we should be CS friends. The man's CS and travel resumes speak for themselves. He is badass. I'm still rooting for him to get to Iran, as it will give me hope to get there soon.

 

He's a soul at peace, the man of wisdom. Enriched with all his travels, Mike speaks when he's spoken to and let me tell you, even though we didn't get to talk much to each other, his eyes are the windows to his soul; his wisdom. Mike, safe travels wherever you go, and its been a pleasure knowing you, my friend. Hope our paths cross again in the future.

Mike is a strange combination of two extreme contradictions. He has this shy stunning smile at first sight which makes him looks like a quiet dude. Then he starts to crave for fruits, talk about his love for bass and turns out to be so talkative later especially when it comes to sports and his strong desires to explore the Middle East countries (which not many are interested in). Mike is unpredictable. Oh well, what do you expect from a man who carries an umbrella and a handkerchief with him? *grin*

 

Mike is laid back and cool. He isn't even grumpy when he got steam-rolled in the morning after sharing a bed with 3 other people. That is A plus in my book.

 

Mike is so totally relaxed from being on the road for months. A kindred spirit wandering the world.
In such a small world I know our paths will cross again.

Mike is just a great guy. I enjoyed the limited time but total quatilty we spent together .This guy is just a a true gentleman with the charm of a Texas oilman with his famous one-liner " Much Obliged Darling". We attended a jazz concert together and I realized how ignorant I am when it comes to music. I still haven't had a chance to look up the metal bands he recommended me but I sure will. Only then will I be able to tell you how crazy he is.
Anyway, he's definitely someone you want to hang out with so don't miss him if he's around :)

Met Mike in bkk and spent the next week as part of a posse of rad folks. Mike was such fun to hang out with--relaxed, funny, friendly and up for a good time. We ended up in more than one awesomely unexpected situation together (random chinese operas, alley way music jams, late night rooftops etc.)

 

Chillaxed and rechilled, Mike is the ultimate traveler, and perfect guest. He hitchhikes, he plays the bass, he shops at bookstores! I would love to travel with this man. Host him if you can!

I saw a very observant eyes in the Park,noticed a Music lover in Gazebo,I was with a Water animal(didnt left the swimming pool for hours)last Sunday and heard his views on serious matters around 2 in the morning-That's Mike-very interesting person indeed.

This guys the bees knees..Hes real friendly, smart and funny..Hes the best ipod dj I ever met..Had heaps of fun hanging out.

Mike started his travels with big plans and a lot of ground to cover. Even though he had to change his plans a few dozen times, he still fulfilled his commitment as a short-term volunteer at the Collective. We all really enjoyed having him around, with his infectious smile and ease of conversation. It was good to see him again in Bangkok a few weeks later. I highly recommend hosting/surfing with him any time.

Met Mike thru our mutual friend on a nite i'd like to call "Skasters" in BKK..Took him and couple ppl to see T-Bone, our fav ska band, and had a luvly picnic in the park which is sooo nuce and relaxing..Vietnamese buffet is needed to be a remark here aswell:)HAd a very interesting conversation in many topics. Cool guy, well traveled and positive attitude!!See u around the globe, pal:)

 

Mike was a fantastically, courteous guest and great company. It was great seeing him again in Bangkok and I highly recommend him any potential hosts or travel partners in the future!

I had a blast hanging out with Mike! We met up for a few drinks, and then met up again with some other couchsurfers and had a great time! I hope to see him again someday!

Mike was a pleasure to have in Phnom Penh. He is very strong as he carried our water up very steep steps. Easy going, good conversation, keen on just about anything (as he mentioned...crazy party), We cooked late-night eggs and toast and ate nutella and had a great time!

All I can say to Mike is that he's supercool man in Buffalo! He picked me up at Buffalo Airport! And took me to the NIagara Falls! It was very cold day! Grab some chicken wings there and hung out at his apartment for while! He also makes some music which is cool! He's one of the most trusted person I've ever met!!! Mike was a stellar CS guest. He was ready adventure, which for us included a rock it out party with a sex worker collective. Uber responsible and full of traveling tales, I do hope you make it onto Iran.

 

Natasha introduced Michael to me when I arrived in Saigon and he became my travel buddy for the whole week. I enjoyed the time with him and especially the jam sessions in shopping malls, despite all the badly tuned equipment.

Mike traveled around my country. We first met in Saigon-Hochiminh city. I took him around my hometown and got the trip to Mekong delta with him and Michael from Sweden. He's easy-going, friendly, helped me to improve my English skill. Generally, Mike's a great people, the one you must see and talk with him :). Hope to see you someday somewhere.

Man, I was happy to hear that he was still alive after we split up in a trek in Tiger Leaping Gorge. Was a lot of fun, hope to meet him again sometime!

Mike was a great guest, and it's clear that he travels with the spirit of couchsurfing that make him a truly representative ambassador for the project. He's done a lot to rally the community back in his home town and we exchanged some great couchsurfing experiences and stories. Do go out of your way to offer him a couch if he's in your area!

I play music with Mike when he's not traveling. A great guy who'll quite literally give you the shirt off his back. I found this out when I showed up to his place soaked in sweat due to 10+ mile bike rides everyother day through out the spring and summer of 07'. I've known Mike well for roughly 7 years now and I have to say he's enriched my life more than he probably knows. He has a large circle of friends because he's a great guy.

Mike is really nice to be around with, he's always up for a little hang out, he's very mellow, friendly and easygoing and always has a smile on his face!

I think one of the first things I said to Mike was, "My mom knows your parents." That's generally how it is in Buffalo. Mike is an awesome, laid back guy who seems to just love life. He's great to be around, and will be missed while he's traveling the world!

Mike may be young in years(compared to me)but I believe he has an old&wise soul. When talking to Mike you know he is really listening. That's rare these days.This is one guy who deserves to be called" EXTREMELY POSITIVE". I look forward to getting to know Mike better.

 

ok, i've finally met mike and now i can die happy. we smoked the sheesha together and it was so sweet, smooth, mellow, a lil bit fruity, and so, so fine. That pretty much describes mike to a tee, actually. haha--inhale deeply, folks--there's more to mike than meets the eye. he is totally enjoyable--oh, and he hugs most delightfully :)

Cool cats like Mike are the reason CS is flourishing and will continue to do so. He was our travel saviour when my wife and I came across some misfortune. On very short notice, Mike came and got us, and instantly welcomed us into his home. His housemates and him far exceeded what we expected. Taking time out of his busy days, we laughed, ate, and he made sure we were taken care of. Your knowledge of the Buffalo and the globe is amazing. Your insite and wit are both interesting and amazing! I will always remember that Texas sized plastic whirlpool in the ocean!!!! No bullshit everybody, think of those bags from the store you use for 15 minutes, then discard, and all the things wrapped in plastic you either litter or throw away. Mike L. is keeping good samaritianism alive and well. He was a pleasure to meet and kick it with. Your southern friends will come through soon.

 

Stayed with Mike & J for my first stop on my US tour. Two great guys. Couldn't ask for better hosts. Buffalo's a nice city.

Mike was my/our first surfer, he set the bar pretty high! Laid back, funny and honest. Great fun going to Missoula, checking out tattoo places. Both Lakota and I hope that he gets a chance to make it back for a visit, when ever it is. PBJ, herb and more chicken for sure!!

 

I ve known Mike from back in Buffalo. From the day 1, he was a perfect guest, well to be honest, I ve seen him as my roommate, more than a guest in the house.
I am glad he caught me on the best timing, where I could slack, right after work and before classes gets serious. So we ended up waking up around 5-6 pm everyday, going out, and staying there for a long while lol.
He was always up for fun, and cool with any plan I come up with. Sometimes we were cool with each other plans so much that, we ended up saying, 'Its up to you' not headin anywhere.
I prolly not gona forget the late night grubs, eating shwarma's non-stop, sitting on terrace looking at the fence's glass, if it is missing, or its just the perfect angle to look at it lol.
Aight, I ll see you in Buffalo next summer man. There are many things we gotta do still. Hope you ll use teh pack you bought here, never forget ur umbrella, so u dont get soaked in a stormy weather~

I don't know what to say about mike laudico, one thing i know,when you go US do go to Bufallo and when you travel to Buffalo{Spicy chicken wings idea is wrong} do search Mike.
Mike is really awesome,well behaved,Filled with information about travelling across US,open minded and having many more qualities.
I lived in Buffalo,dine with him,partied with him,enjoy Hammoks,Sheesha and all in his company.I wonder somebody is lucky if "J" is there for informative dialect.I will definately miss them all.

 

Mike exemplifies what a couchsurfer should be. He was totally cool as he introduced me to local life that I would have never experienced otherwise. He showed me that Buffalo is a diverse city with the biggest music scene of anywhere I have ever travelled to. He's also got really cool friends, great travelling stories and a local couchsurfing network.

I spent a couple of amazing days in Buffalo with this guy. I wish I could have spent a dozen times as many. Very cool, very welcoming. I expect to see him again sometime.

Mike's cool because he let me call him "Malarky Mike" for a good year & he helped me pass astronomy. Also, bonus points because I just noticed he's a member of the Australia group. (If you go there, let ME hook you up with the couches!!!) He might as well have founded couchsurfing because he's responsible for bringing together the Buffalo scene & I have no doubt he's a great host because he actually likes Buffalo ;) His travels inspire me!

Mike greeted me when I arrived at the house. I felt instantly at ease with him. I enjoyed hearing about his travels and sharing little adventures with him and his housemates. They were all so welcoming and hospitable and funny! I definitely hope we meet again.

 

The best a man can get.....that's all I have to say.

definitely contact mike if you're heading to buffalo. if he can't host you, his roommates will. everyone in his house is wonderful and extremely hospitable. plus, you'll have a lot of fun chilling with these guys.

I met Mike at the first Couchsurfing potluck in Buffalo. He seems like a pretty laid-back guy and has a great taste in music! Hope to chill again in the future.

Contemplative, pacient, sparkling and herby..er, mix it with pinaple, and let the conversation begin.UPDATE: So the whirlwinds of chance brought me Mike again from the jungle to scenery of Vienna, he hitch hiked from Budapest as soon as he knew I was here. We talked in circles and got back again where we started, his visit was a reminder of the important things in life: a friend and a touch of lightness.

The best thing you could do with this kid is set on a fence and stare at the Rockies. Mike and I met at his place at the first Buffalo CS collective meeting. Since then, we drove across the US in January, and I hope we get the chance again (the fall's coming soon, bud!). Mike and I traded stories, watched the scenery, and listened to the 2009 inauguration through Kansas as we strung a ribbon from Buffalo, NY to Moab, UT. He's a listener and friend for a long time to come. If you travel with him, you'll be happy you did!

 

Mike is a good guy, he came under tough circumstances... he drove for miles and miles and miles only to find out that the concert he was coming too got cancelled (the bastards), and on his birthday too! Good peeps, well recommended.

Mike's an awesome guy and a benefit to my circle of friends. Mike is very intelligent and very open to new ideas and understanding. He's always willing to listen to a story and has plenty to tell himself. Mike and I also share a bond in the fact that we've both been robbed and attacked with deadly weapons!! Mike's a great guy to know...

I hosted both Buffalosoldier and his cousin. I offered him a place to stay for the night on the way to Montreal. I had another couchsurfer from Australia staying at my place. We all went out and had a good time and met up with other Couchsurfers from Toronto.
He left a nice note on my table when he left for Montreal. I thought all was well. A couple of days after in the chat room , he said that Canadians can't be trusted. I trusted you enough to let you stay in my house. You should have used the words that you posted on my reference on the taxi driver that was taking us on an unexpected expensive tour of Toronto. If you want to generalize and say that Canadians can't be trusted, don't come here and be a critic, travelling is about pleasure.

 

Mike surfed with me on a night in which I was unfortunately very busy, stressed, and tired. He fit right into my house and my neighborhood scene. I wish he stayed longer so that we could have talked more, but I suspect we'll cross paths again on the CS highway of adventure. He's super nice, has interesting travel stories, and he has a great bass clef tattoo. I'm glad we met.

You should see him ride a camel! The only thing better than just hanging out and joking around with Mike is to watch him ride a camel side saddle in the Sahara.

Mike comes with my rousing endorsement. And he lives down in the Elmwood Village. With drums.

I met Mike when I went up to Montreal, randomly, after meeting another surfer who was headed that way from NYC. We then continued to hang out all weekend. Went to a kick ass jazz club. Got a bit tipsy a few times...or was that just me? Haha. He was my midnight hug into the new year, and I am so greateful for that because he really gave me the best hug I have gotten in a long time...and after this year I really needed it! So, if you ever get the chance to hug him, do, because I wish I could every day! Haha... ;) He has a great personality...always lightens the mood. Kind of guy that just makes you feel comfortable right off the bat, and makes you happy to be living life because you know there are people like him out there. I know we are going to meet up again, and I can't wait. He also has a place whenever and wherever I can accomodate it, anytime...<3

Mike and I go way back. He is actually the one who turned me on to couchsurfing. He is always open minded on just about everything... unless its about the Bush Administration. He is a ridiculously cool person, he keeps life green, and always has some insite to offer.

 

Although I only got to meet Mike briefly I could tell that he was good people. His girlfriend Nicole was nice enough to put me and my three bandmates up for the night and it was everything we could have hoped for. Highly recommended, awesome people.

communion with the world. I have no idea how he’s digesting all of that travelling he did, but I’m sure he brought a lot of treasures in is heart … and left as many behind. He’s a myriad of worlds and always in search of more … and at the same time just as simple as it comes. He’s honest, trustworthy, loyal and always travelling, if not in body, in mind, pursuing communion with the world. Of course I miss you, here too, you left some of you behind.

 

Mike has the uncanny ability to draw out laughter, comfort and smiles in the people that he meets. He makes for some of the best company around and his worldly knowledge makes for some of the most intriguing conversations you'll ever find yourself a part of. Not to mention he has a lightning fast glove hand, throws one hell of a worm and packs a mean pipe!!

Mike is a really great and interesting person who is a wonderful example of what a couchsurfer should be. He has fantastic stories to tell about all the places he's been and experiences he's had and an example of the perfect guest.

 

Mike's crazy fun! He's inspiring and kind and makes a Texas girl want to walk around barefoot downtown and run through sprinklers. I am grateful that he shared his time in Denver protecting me against sweaty crowdsurfers and teaching me the ways of jazz music! I wish he could have stayed longer!!

Mike was my guest for a night, together with Brian...well, one night is mostly not enough to say something about the person, however, felt like knowing him already for a long time, simply found like same / similar interests from the very first moment.....is simply smart guy, knows what does he wants in and from the life (and what he doesn't want-:)), easy going and fun, was just good to have you here , Mike,...and until next time...whenever and wherever, but hope soon:)

Two times during my trip destiny connected our pathways. First time we met in Fairbanks - at our common host's place. After leaving F.B I had a chance to find out that Mike is a true traveling spirit, never in hurry, always looking on the bright side of life. After a week of traveling together we splited because of different visions of our next alaskan experiences. But apparently it was our destiny to meet again :) We met few days later in Tok and have been sharing the same ride towards BC (Canada).
Very good travel company and good person. U should definitely meet Mike when U have a chance!

Mike is awesome. Spent some time with him in montreal and knew right away why he is so famous. This guy is the shit... Hope to spend more time with him in October or september... whenever he gets his ass down here again...

 

Mike is a real respectful dude with a lot of crazy experiences. Knows how to "snap a deuce and sip some juice." He used too much water when washing the dishes, but how can you blame him? I did too, the first time doing it without running water. You just have to lower your standards Mike, a little grease never hurt.

 

Mike and his buddy were great guests, they were super easy going and happy to hitch hike and camp in our yard since we already had someone sleeping on our couch.

Lord Buff. I always like people with built-in shit detectors. Buff is that kind of guy. Great taste in music, perfect man to have an inside joke with. Can't believe we watched a romantic movie together, hehe. Endured my sporty way of driving without complaining once, woke himself up when he was snoring on my floor, and gave me my final exams on Smoking. He is The Great Cynic, but will enjoy the moment on a wet couch in a Pirate Seajoint.

Ya know when you have only met someone in the meat world, like twice, and ya rarely talk at all but there exists this unspoken coolness that permeates the intangible friendship that you have? Buff is mad coolness - we surf the same vibe. I dig his energy and am happy to have had a frickin coo-o-ol night on my patio smokin sheesha (and stuff..), drinkin, listening to some killer tunes, and talkin shit with him and Shags. We then left him passed out on my patio and he didn't complain - we gave him a blanket, I think - and took pictures next to his sleeping corpse. And then me and Shaggs tried a bunch of wigs on, giggling like small children.. heheee.. ENCORE! :D

MIKE MIKE MIKE. I was hot on his trail in Europe over the summer of 05...I stayed at Psyteks place a week after him...missed him and his cousin by a few hours in MAdrid..and my poor estudiante ass couln't go with him to morroco as we had planned..but..I read all about it. He is a really cool guy..who has done some really cool traveling..we finally met at my place in Long Beach..we spent a night listening to good music talking about our travels..and having a genarlly enjoayble night..I am glad he stopped in la on his way to The land of the ancient Myans..hoping we can meet up in europe this summer..mike is cool

Mike was so cool! Just an easy cat to be around - he really knows how to chill. Loved exploring the world's greatest party game outfitters with him. Fun times! Come back and stay longer next time!

great times together, tramping in Budapest and in NY... summer showers, bathing, ceral, city-hill-hikings..arturo's..chasing cabs..sitting on pavements in blyn..sleeping in central park.. jazz here and jazz there.. Shared moments that last for ever even if we don't see each other for a while.. having these memories make me a happier person and tell me there is something more than everydays. to reach back and to wait for.

 

The coolest - most chilled CSer. Mike came to stay with us on the Monday - and by the Saturday when he left, he had won a reserved space on our couch. He is the most considerate guest, clever, with taste in music and makes so little impact that it is a pleasure to have him around (maximum enjoyment for least effort!). I would turf my blind granny off the sofa for him!! But I am just sorry that Guatemala City did not live up to his expectations.. :(

 

next time.... LAMBADA... :). Mike - stop complaining about your feet....u did great for your first time trying Salsa... and I still think u'd be doing really well @ Lambada...!!

want to see my videos??? yo yo yo... hey so i had this crazy weekend in Barcelona with this guy.. and I don't remember exactly all of it.. why did i let him do all those things to me?!@# i must have been drunk, or um i must has had contact high, or he must have actually given me lots of money. but anyway, i have all these marks all over my body, and this bizarre headache, and i don't know what my friends back in Paris will think. he did something, you know charmed me... some way.. and um he tried to hook up over the weekend in Sin City with other chicas... and well that broke my heart, because i thought we had something...some connections... no wait.. it's an american thing... we are all perverts... and Dirty Bastards Unite!! i bet you will find the green in Paris.... well if you actually make the attempt to want to leave Amsterdam.. :) Ya come back naww kool kat...!!

Sound lad. Mike and Brain where the first couch surfers I had staying with me and their great ambassadors for couchsurfing. They left me a rake of tunes which I would never had heard and have me really looking forward to getting out on my own trip and meeting more couchsurfers.

He's my hero!!!!! Mike arrived with trenitlia to the dark side of Italy to see me as he promised...We partied in Padova with him having a fever..but this doesn't affect him for being a knight!He found me on the sidewalk in padova, lost and drunk sitting near my own puke..i remember that when i looked up and saw him, i saw white light around him, and at that moment i thought i saw god...(but now thinking about it...i think it's just the smoke and the street light...:D)Oh Mike! I missed you so muchhh!
