Carlos Nader

 

After some emails that we've exchanged for the "bureaucratic" part of our duty as ambassadors finally I've had the chance to meet personally Carlos and, of course, was a really positive experience!
We spent a nice day traveling to the amazonic waterfalls in Presidente Figuereido, eating a good river fish in front of an iced glass (or may be something more...) of beer talking about a lot of matters. We had the chance to met his roommates for the dinner and to have interesting conversations.
Without doubts Carlos is exactly what you could expecting from a Cs Ambassador!

Me and my best friend swenja surfed Carlos place for about one week. He arranged an amazing trip to the jungle for us. He spended all his time with us together to show us around, having a good time on parties, where he introduced us to his sweet friends. Thankful to meet this great guy! He is easy to get along with, has traveling spirit and very beautiful ideas how life should be. Come on over carlos!

To stay with Carlos in Manaus was a great experience. He is a fantastic host, showed us around, helped us booking a great trip to the jungle and impressed me with his knowledge about films and music. We could always count on him. Carlos, go travelling and meet us!

 

i didn´t get much of a chance to talk to carlos, but i wish i had. very good vibes.

 

Carlos shares so mutch : friendship, hospitality, knowledge, experiences,kidness, music etc...
I feel really lucky to have been hosted by him and his so nice and funny friends !

we stayed 3 days in carlos place, and had a really good time. we went to play bowling, eat cheap and really good pizza, tryed the nice manyok pancake, went to the market to have some frozzen beers,.....nice time. thamks a lot. hope to see you soon in Berlin.

i met Carlos at maybe the first meeting in Manaus and we had fun with french and australian girls. Then I took my plane unfortunately for Rio.

o carlito é 100000 ele é um homem sereno,que porem é muito inteligente,fala bem o ingles e me deu uma força enorme no marajó,infelizmente nao tenho muitas palavras para expressar a respeito de carlos,porque ele é demais!!!

Carlos is nice, talktative and seem a good person!Was a great experiencie met him.

we were so lucky to meet carlos on the boattrip on the amazon! he`s enormously laidbackpartyish and tells the best stories. you can do everything with him (except playing who am i) and it will never get boring. hope to meet you again someday!

Well, he was intrudeced by one of the craziest CS spirits I met. To me, it really counts.
Easygoing guy, always ready to laugh. We had great time in Belem, partying, drinking, eating. Absolutely a good mate to hang on.

Carlos is this kinda man u really need to meet .. fantastic... I really loved had the meeting up with him and Larissa .. We had a wonderful meeting in Café com Arte... Hope we can have much more .. Manaus is not so far!!!! Excellent vibrations!!! See ya!!!

When I remember Carlos, this music comes to my mind. Maybe because he works with birds, maybe because we are both Beatlemaniacs, maybe because we both love to travel and ours plans are living like this, like a bird flying. Looking forward on see you again!

Thanks for organizing this first meeting in Manaus! Too bad we couln't spend more time together and talk about delfins and pirarucu ! Carlos is funny and easy going, and seems very passionate about the Amazonia... would have loved to visit some places with u! Take care!

 

Carlos was nice enough to meet up with us on short notice and show us around a few parts of São Paulo, and showed us an amazing view of the city from one of the highest buildings. Even though it was a short meeting, I enjoyed talking with him and his advice was very helpful. Thanks again and good luck in the Amazon!

It was very nice having him here, he is a very very nice and friendly person, he told me a bit about his trips and even gave me a ride to work the next day. =)

Carlos was fabulous! A great guy offering his vast collection of DVD's and comfy home. Gave us lots of music to take away with us, keeping us sane for the following 4 months:)

I met Carlos in the Amazon, where we used to work in the same nature reserve. He is a wonderful warmhearted person and I always felt very comfortable in is presence. He invited me the first time we met and so his couch and home became mine everytime I was in town... he is a real couchsurfer who truly lives CS philosophy!!!
I am really lucky that I could meet you and share my intensive Mamirauá experiences with you, Carlos! And thank you for telling me about CS, with this you continue enriching my life even from the distance! :-) Saudades viu...

Carlos is a wonderfully sensitive guy. Freely opened his home and entertained us for hours with his excellent dvd/cd collection. Thoughtful, understanding and open, enabling us to feel comfortable from the first moment we met. Passionate about wildlife and ecosystems, extending his knowledge to us as he was our guide on the reserve.

Thank you for a memorable christmas :) the cd and friendship. Truly hope our paths cross again in the future! Somewhere in Europe maybe?? :)

Carlos - born couchsurfer :). Carlos definitely is one of the good people! Very sweet, thoughtful, positive and spontaneous - just a blast to have around. And he's really good to talk to, too. Has an interesting outlook on life. So...Miss you!

A Lovely Lad. Carlos stayed in my flat in London and was a delightful guest. We had a lovely time at the theatre and any host(s) should consider themselves lucky to be able to share with such a perfect guest.

Carlos eats the blankets of Australians! After 32 hours spent in planes and airports I downed my 6th coffee for the morning and went into Amsterdam to meet Carlos for another one. We had an awesome day walking the streets of Amsterdam, hunting down Ramones t-shirts in the markets and surfing mosaic couches (Dude, its a Doner not a Doonah!) I had an amazing time chillin (literally!) with Carlos and recommend that every one of you get your ass to the Amazon to hang out with him (Australians and New Zealanders may need to take an interpreter). Take care man!

Perfect guest... He stayed one night in frankfurt and I must say he´s the best guest you could have. Also after a 16-hours-flight he didn´t want to spend the short time with sleeping....snowball fight, playing cards with one of my friends, some cider, good music and nice conversations!! Wish you a great time in europe and hope to see you some time again in Brazil! ....greetings to your friend Leo;)
