Leonardo Menezes

 

Leo is an absolute top fellow. He hosted me and my boyfriend for 4 days in his lovely place in Madrid. He showed us the best food in Madrid, the best Mojitos, best parties and he even gave us his bed! I hope I will see Leo again soon, he's absolutely great to be around! Thanks so much Leo and I look forward to meet you again on Pukkelpop fest next year! I will practice my spanish! :)

 

Leo got to couchsurf at Pukkelpop music festival after the airline lost his tent :( Good thing there were lots of friendly Cs'ers there to help him out. I really enjoyed hanging out with Leo during Pukkelpop and especially when we went to get our "special" blow up pillows!

 

Leo is probably one of the nicest guys I know!
He was too nice for us. We slept in his bed while he was lying on the couch. So when he comes to Pukkelpop, he will have a private tent, sleeping bag and air mattress waiting for him.
Madrid is a beautiful city and Leo knows where to go: Spanish and Brazilian food, mojito’s and cerveza!! I loved it!

We really had a good time and hope to see you again SOON!

China and Ivan were phenomenal hosts! Two friends and I spent a weekend in Segovia with them and they were extremely welcoming! They cooked for us and took us out to the bars. We got to meet their friends and see Segovia from the perspective of a local. The experience was fantastic!

LKH Brother, flatmate, IT expert of my computer, Big music fan, and Typical brazilian "Carpe Diem" person. Very possitive and always helpful.
One of those who teached me to enjoy life more and worry about the things less.
Don't worry one day we will join the russian mafia!

 

I think I was Leonardo's most boring couchsurfer, because my allergies turned me into a zombie while I stayed with him! He was a great host and his roommates are a lot of fun. If you are looking for someone to party with he is a great host for you! The view of Segovia from his apartment alone is worth the trip.

Leonardo is super sweet, funny, and endearing. He and his roommates showed me around the city, cooked a fabulous meal, and even let me have the good bed. They are an inspiring bunch because they are all learning different languages and were really patient with my Spanish. I had de puta madre time and hope i will see leo and his friends another day soon. Thank you China!

A great host! I had a really great time staying with him and having him show my friend and I around the nightlife in Segovia. He is also a really good cook and has very nice Brazilian friends!

Amazing how a group of people can make sleepy Segovia seem like an outrageouse party town. I can´t have nothing but the highest respect for super groovy people like Leo..who make you feel like you have always been a part of their erasmus community. I will be waiting with beer and flowers when he and his friends arrive here to party on the summer streets!

We had a great time in Segovia! Only stayed for one night but we felt immediatly at home. Had a really nice evening with Leonardo and friends/roommates and would highly recommend him as a couchsurfinghost!Thanks and always welcome!

I had such a blast staying with Leonardo! He is just adorable, helping, charming, funny, witty, smart...! Even though he must know Segovia already inside out he was willing to take a long stroll with me explaining me everything! Furthermore he is an awesome chef and did spoil me with delicious dishes! (arg, when can I come back?). He spent all the time he had helping me and I felt really really at home! I could go on and on raving ... but you better find out yourself!!!

A great guy to hang out with!!

We had a great time with Leonardo! He is unbelievable friendly and hospitable. The tour through Segovia with his friends was amazing - so nice places we went to. We loved the food and the warming, energizing coffee! :)
Everything was so naturally for him - and that's not naturally! Thanks a lot! Looking forward to the Bloc Party Concert in Salamanca... and the Knödel! :)

 

All I can say is I am sorry I did not spend more time in Segovia... true you can pretty much see the place in 3 hours just like my town but when you get a host like Leonardo :))) things are a bit different, he picked me up at 2am and we went strait to a party, gotta love that. You are most wellcome to come visit me, you only have to bring the portuguese/dance teacher with you ;)

leonardo was an amazing person, i still cannot believe the energy he had even tough he had to work so much! His roommates and friends were also great and equally full of life! it must be a brazilian thing, i´ve never seen anything quite like it;) i truly hope we´ll meet again sometime in life!

Other than being one of my best friends I can say he likes meeting other people while traveling, hosting visitors or just meeting people he didn't already know, couch surfers or not. Be sure you'll laugh and meet someone you can count on. Hosting, surfing, traveling and beers are something I stopped counting long ago...

Leonardo is a really wonderful person! He was so kind and helpful to show me all over Segovia! I loved meeting his friends and we had a great night out with them. I also loved our salad dressing expirements! Leonardo is so great and you should surf with him if you get the chance. Thanks again friend and I hope to see you in Madrid soon!

Leonardo was very nice to show all the places of interest in the cozy Segovia. He is a great person, perfect guide and photographer! It was a pleasure to meet him and share some conversations. The contribution Leonardo has made to couchsurfing is incredible--he's hosted 10+ people and has yet to travel himself. He hosted me even though he was supposed to be studying for an exam. If you stay with him in Segovia, he'll probably introduce you to a lot of his Brazilian friends, whom I all found to be wonderful and a lot of fun. Ask Camila to guess what you have in your hand.

China is cool.. he's a very good sense of humor and a very positive vibration

i surfed his colchón in segovia. a really nice host. showed me all around and i showed him around segovia as well, hahah, took me to some bars and clubs and his friend's place and
got me drunk but gave an aspirin for hangover and then showed me around segovia again and so on and so forth......:)))))) it was greeaaat!!! now looking forward to see u in madrid!

This guy is unbeliveable, his always with a good energy to go out or just to meet his friends to have good time. For sure his is one of the best host in CS.

I went to Segovia thinking the Aquaduct was going to be the highlight of my stay. I was very wrong. I had an amazing time hanging out with Leonardo and Romolo and their friends. They took me to the best bars, and showed me all the tourist spots as well. Leonardo, if you are lucky I will visit again, but next time I really will leave my shoes!

Leonardo is the man! We met us right as we got off the bus! We told him what we wanted to do in our short visit, and he put everything together and guided us around. He is great company and a really nice kid! Here is what my family asked me to pass along:

Allison: He rocks!! He did an amazing job giving a guided tour of a town he had only been in for 3 months! It was a pleasure to meet him! :-)

My Mom: Leonardo is really sweet, very easy to talk to. Thank you!

My dad: Thanks to his friendly personality and super tour guide skills, we had a blast in Segovia!

This guy was the first couchsurfer who I had contact. He showed the city, he introduced to his friends and we had some beer together. It was a greath experience and I really felt that this gut is a nice person. I strongly recomend that you meet this guy, even that it was for just a coffee.

Leonardo is a great guy, he and his friends showed us the whole city for four hours, patientely :-)
After a great dinner (for women forbidden to help, it was great Tiago :-) ) we made a real brazilian singing evening. They're really friendly, funny guys.
