Christopher Lethborg

Chris hosted me and my boyfriend for 1 night near Scottsdale. He was the perfect host and we really enjoyed our stay with him. The room was nice and he even offered dinner for us which was very nice. We had a great time chatting, playing cards and watching a movie with Chris.

Had a very enjoyable and varied stay with Chris - some great civilized evenings with his lovely, hospitable family, and then some great, very UNcivilized evenings with the 'boys'... haha, good fun!

Christopher is very friendly. He shows me the Tasman bush at night, it's very nice. The house is just wonderful, a quiet place.

My first couch experience was with Chris, and it was truly amazing. Him and his wonderful mother and father were so generous and warmhearted to me, so open and loving, that I was deeply moved. I left with so much golden joy. It was also a great cultural experience to be with a family so rooted in their area.

Chris is very nice and honest person. He doesn't need much comfort and is very helpful. We spent great time together.

Very easy going guy and a very experienced traveller in the same time. It's a pleasure to host him!

:D Chris is very nice, open and cheerful person. even our animals liked him (but sometimes i think that the chameleon was much more interested in Chris camera). he is always smileing and doesn't care about any problems like place to sleep or food (maybe becouse i'm not a good cook :?). i spend with him a great time and i hope we will meet again :)

Chris was an absolute pleasure to host. He suprised me with his views on travelling and he is very nice, friendly guy who has lots to share. When he is smiling so whole world smile with him ;) He is a very enjoyable and intresting person who will make his time on your couch also a great time for you! I think he will cook fantastic food for you and make you smile all the time! You will just gonna miss him when he is gone! He is amazing person! :)

It was nice to meet with Chris, although I couldn't spend too much time with him, but it was enough to know that he is a polite and smiley funny guy with a huge traveling experience. I can't say anything bad about him. Go go gooo everywhere in the world! If I visit Australia I hope you will be one of my hosts :) if you'll be there...

It was my pleasure to host Chris! He' s such a great person and also all my friends who met him can say the same about him! I can really tell that Chris enjoyed every minute of his staying here in Riga- Student' s club, B'day party, Sigulda, less of sleeping and just simply spending time watching tv, eating his prepared pasta...and the last night in Riga!!!
Chris, remember- from now you know - there always will be a place for you to stay. And I know we gonna meet soon- very soon.

Christopher is a perfect couch-surfer. He's far too nice and polite. Has done and does so many different interesting things, has a good sense of humor, listens to really good music and he's a great cook ! I learned so many things from him, especially about Australia (music ! , australian football, wine, swag, boot, push bike, detergent, dunny :D). You'll just gonna miss him when he's gone..

I don't know how did this happen but all the time Chris seemed to be my old-school friend.
It is really easy to find the contact way with him; And girls, you may be calm. He will always take care of you and will protect you. Not much left nowadays.
This is a pleasure to host such a person when you self might feel hosted.

Chris was truly an amazing person and really fun to hang around with. He immediately got along with my roommates and friends which really indicates an open mind and good social skills. Chris is the definition of world traveling :) He was my first guest in Finland where i had only spent 3 weeks at the time. So biking around the city of Kuopio was sometimes just as sightseeing for me and some friends as for him. He has great stories to tell, but when you ask him about the countries he had visited know that he's repeating that long line for about the 100th time :P It was good time hosting him, one of the guys you can highly trust, who rather takes the stairs instead of the boring elevator to the top of a high tower, easy-going, even lowered to our European level with his specific Australian speech. Which is actually much fun when you start to descifer it! G'day mate!

Christopher is a very nice guy who dropped by my place in Kiruna for a few days on his adventures around scandinavia/europe/the world. He is relaxed, easy to get along with and interesting to talk to. I was rather busy with work when he was here, but I can really say that it was genuinly very nice to meet christopher and that I definitely think my life is a little bit better because of it. He is a gem in the CS pool.

Chris is a great guy and it's really easy to trust in him. It was my pleasure to host him, though my uni took a bit too much time while he was here. But yeah, Chris is really helpful, good fun and a great cook:p Just trying to recover from yesterday now, but otherwise everything went very well with him. Let me know whenever you're back to Finland and enjoy your travelling. Take a good care!

 

Chris is an overall great guy, he is really easy to get along with and fun to be around. I hope he gets a nice trip to Mount Everest and looking forward to host him again.

 

I had a great time with Chris, though I visited the city for just the 10 000th time, but it was so cool talking with him I just didn't notice it. Aussie rules football seems so cool ! That's one more reason for me to go to Australia, or at least in the area.
That's just to bad he couldn't stay longer, but I understood a great time was awaiting him in his next couch..
But his accent is so hard to understand for a poor french guy ! Was fun!

Chris is great, with his australian accent and interest in seeing the city. We enjoyed having him stay, and when you come back in a weekend mate, we will have heaps fun partying too, haha.
If anyone considering hosting this guy, he definitely has our recommendations!

Chris stayed with me for three days, and was a fantastic guest! He helped me get to know my own city better!

Chris is the perfect guest; friendly, positive, self-going - and a great chef! He cooked us dinner both nights, enough for the whole corridor =) He really enjoys getting to know the place he's staying at so it's a pleasure helping him out. Chris is a brave couchsurfer! First he swam in the cold ocean with me and then he ate the mixed mushroomes I had found. He's great fun to be around and is up for both going to castles and dancing at the crowded party we had in my small appartment. Host him and be glad

Chris is a nice, easygoing and interesting person who is travelling the world in the best way you can do it - seeing what is really interesting, meeting a lot of people and collecting loads of stories to tell you grandchildren. A guy who's giving away free hugs and biking nude through London can only be a guy who is fun to hang out with. Carpe Diem Chris!

We only talked for a couple of hours, but when he left it felt like we were all longtime friends. Chris is very laid back and super nice. Go ahead and host him!

Chris is a really great guy, and he's got kangaroos in his back yard, how cool is that?! ;P He's a true backpacker, always up for new challanges and meeting people and get to know them and he's got that nice 'we'll see where the wind blows me' impression. Happy travells!

 

I was amazed to find a mirror reflection of myself in Chris, who grew up on the other side of the world. We connected in an instand and had such a fun weekend. This guy is all fun hosting and I hope that I will visit him on Tasmania.

Poor guys, they came to small Pecs in summer when nothing was happening here; but they managed to spend a good time in the town! It was really great to host them and spend time with them; I would even say people shouldn't miss a chance to meet these guys! And try to understand their funny accent... which is more or less possible after a couple of days in their company :))

Chris and his friend Craig were at my house for one night and it was nice time. They're both very kind and friendly. We had a good dinner together and speaking to them was so interesting. I had the chance to know a bit more about Tasmania..another destination to discover! Hope to see you again and wish you the best luck for the fantastic trip you're doing!

 

Chris and Craig are two tasmanian friends that make us feeling like members of ourfamily, after couching them here in Valencia.
The level they use drinking beer, helped a lot to find this feeling (LOL).
Talking serious, both guys are perfect guest and friends. We wish for them a very good trip in Europe.

I have only nice things to say about Chris and Craig!They are both fun to be with,very polite (my mom made sure I told you that) and tall eheheh. It was my first time hosting and I was a bit worried but everything turned out great! It was certainly a positive experience! And thanks to Chris now I know the art of Australian football eheh

 

Chris is a great guy, he stayed with me for two nights, with his friend Craig... I didn't spend as many time as I would like to with them, but they are very easygoing, 'cool' and funny... wait for me in Tasmania, I'mcoming to visit you two!!!!

After a false start involving a miscommunication, Chris and Craig breezed into our lives for two days and what a breath of fresh air! Friendly, no-nonsense Tasmanian company at its best (and they helped me pick winkles!) Thanks dudes, you will always be welcome here.

He is warm, thoughtful and a very interesting guy, who is easy to talk to despite his funny Australian accent. Christopher is a very kind, generous and gracious person. Very well travelled and inspiring! It was a great pleasure to host him.

I stayed at Chris's and his families place for 1 night and they were fantastic hosts, they couldnt have done more for me or made me feel more welcome! I had a lovely double bedroom to myself, (they have a lovely huge house), we had a bbq for dinner and he drove me to and from Mount Stronach so I could go for a walk! Thank you very much for having me!

Chris and his friend Kylie spent 2 days in Zacharo. During this time I had the chance of interesting talking, interesting eating(!) and a small walking in Foloi forest. The time was not enough (never is) but nevertheless I believe they have really nice character, they love life and people and they respect the house they are hosted in. I will be glad to meet them again.

I did't spend enough time with Chris, but I feel that he is a very energetic and positive guy; as couchsurfers, he and his girlfriend Kylie are polite, talkative and a very nice cuple. It has been a positive experience;I wish them all the best and a wonderful stay here in Europe!

My friends and I tried to make Chris and Kylie visit Toulouse the french way, eating snails, truffes' terrine and roquefort, and as they enjoyed it, so i would say that they just lack the french beret to become perfect froggies! =) see you in Paris mates!

 

Not that you need another GLOWING reference but you were kind enough to leave me one (only just realised) so i thought i'd return the favour. Chris (aka Slug) is the funniest guy you will ever meet! He is the nicest too and a really GOOD decent person so you need not have any hesitation about letting him surf on your couch!

 

Chris and his girlfriend Kylie are relaxed, polite and easy-going plus extremely friendly and trustworthy. Traits I highly appreciate therefore I had no pb with giving them my keys while I was working. I really liked having them around and we had fun together in spite of the train strike which complicated their travel arrangements.

christopher and kylie are easy going. they helped me cooking, nice persons, you can trust them, interesting, chris is hard to understand :) (but kylie is a good translator, interpreter).

Chris and Kylie surely are easy going and uncomplicated guests. I pretty much had to leave them for themselves just after they'd arrived. But they did amazingly well finding their way around my apartment and exploring Zurich by bike.
You two definitely are the gods of good weather, I almost had given up on the summer. And thanks to you I've figured out the laundry problem for my future guests! :)

I had a great time with Kylie and Christopher, it seems that they enjoy their trip to the full :-) They also went with me to visit my parents, since that mom and dad know why I am addicted to couchsurfing. If you want to have nice guests, try to "catch" Kylie and Chris!

Chris and Kylie wre a lot of fun to hang out with while were both surfing a host in Vienna (thanks Moritz and Angela!) We didnt get to hang out much since their last day was our first but Amy and I enjoyed both of them a lot. They travel the way more people should and were great to spend time with.

 

I finally know, what the Tasmanian devil is. It is really a cool feeling hosting people from the other side of the world. I mean, if you drill a hole into the earth in Salzburg, you would probabyl pop out in Tasmania. Christoper and Kylie are very laid back and open minded couchsurfers. It was good having them here.

Kylie & Chris met me not exactly at my most relaxed time...still it was perfect to host them. They are very indipendent and they where very interested in Berlins history and music-scene :) I hope I didn't get on your nerves with my most favourite radio-station! Come back anytime! Chris and Kaily surfed my couch for two nights. They are a lovely couple and I enjoyed pretty much meeting them. Chris is a very brave guy, so he tried the german matjes (non cooked fish).
Would be great to meet them again and to go sailing together!

Chris and Kylie surfed with me and my famiy for 1 night. I wish it could have been longer. You guys are top, funny and best of all....like a drink. I hope you both come back later in the year as promised. We had a party atmosphere, next time will be even better. Chris is a whole lot of fun and although its being said alot its true, hes VERY laid back. good cook, great conversation and generally of the australian 'happy-go-lucky' variety. Great man, host him.

 

I was lucky enough to meet my brother Chris in Dublin when we surfed together at Rory's place. He is such a friendly, genuine, easygoing, trustworthy and funny guy with a great deal of integrity. Those qualities can be hard to come by these days. We had a great time driving into the Wicklows and getting completely lost until our stomachs drove us to food...Hope to meet up again soon - host him if you are keen on meeting one of the really good ones!!!

Gee Chris is... where do I start, this guy is amazing, he is a hunter,gather,Viking origins, good conversationalist and easy to please, he is funny and quite eager to explore. Im sure if he stayed in my neighbourhood we would be best friends. I look forward to meeting him again on his travels or back in Taz which has jumped to my top destination :)

 

This man is my brother .... Christóir is a really cool guy! He is full of energy, always wanting to help and contribute , always giving, always brilliant company, always laughing and smiling, always considerate - this guy moves quickly to becoming your friend - nothing slugish about him - he is the best - please meet this guy and you will know too! He is truthful, natural, got always something to tell- good listener and seems to be in harmony with it all. Great to be around, don't hesitate to let him surf your couch!

Chris is a really easy going and lovely person!! and eventhough we had to study most of the time he was great about doing his own thing. However we did take a few drinking breaks and introduced him to our student style dinner parties etc. everyone really enjoyed having him around, was a real pleasure(Polly was especially sad you left!!!!). enjoy the rest of your travels!!

"It's sweet, yeah but it's free, let's ask for another drink!!!" It was good time to meet Chris even if he's not a true Australian because he doesn't know how to play didgeridoo !!! It was very interesting to talk with him. He's quite relax and easy going, and I like that. I wish I had more time to talk with him. But I look forward to see him later in France, maybe for the rugby world cup. Host him or surf with him you will appreciate.

 

My first CS experience, Chris seems to be a really great guy, nice to ´have met him! :)

Chris is a top bloke, who is very easy going and easy pleased. We got on well together. He's a independent lad which is great, as I never felt pressed to be a tour guide he was clinging too. A real breeze to host, thanks again for your craic and travel stories Chris!

Chris was my host in Scottsdale, and had me in his parents place in a few hours notice only. he showed me around as much as he could (which was pretty much), and his family was very nice, helpful and made me feel like home

Sadly, we could stay only for half a day and a night, but it was quite awesome, as it's a beautiful place and Chris showed us around and he's super friendly. I'm looking forward to welcoming him in good old Germany one fine day...
