About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Here it comes, a better version of me.

ABOUT ME

I was raised in Boise, Idaho for 16 years, and have now been living in Arizona for the past... going on 6 years. I am now 22 and have lived in 2 states and have yet to leave the country. I am really itching to experience more! Moving to Arizona was a blessing because it showed me that there is more to the world than what I knew. Right now, I'm finishing up my associates degree at a community college in Arizona, and I hope to do some traveling in various states in order to find a university that is on par with my interests and aspirations. I must say I am not yet used to being immersed in unfamiliar cultures, and that's why I feel that Couch Surfing is such a gift!

Some things that I feel help define me.
*Sociology student. Although not well traveled, well schooled in diversity.
*I still love Pokemon. Recently invested in a Nintendo DS for that reason.
*Human Rights Campaign member.
*I feel like I've grown up and evolved with Fiona Apple. I cannot wait to see where she continues to go. I was in grade school when I bought my first Fiona Apple CD. Credit my "Current Mission" to her.
*I totally see myself being a city boy, but I love being outdoors and doing outdoor activities. One reason why I need to get out of Arizona. It's too hot here to do anything of the sort. Besides swimming, which I'm fond of as well.
*Food is the best. One big influence in my travels is unfamiliar cuisine. Bring it on.
*Movies that make me cry are almost always added to my "Favorites List." But film in general is fascinating.
*Constantly striving to live more like a minimalist. Still working on it.

PHILOSOPHY

I once would have said, "ANYTHING by Alan Watts!" but now, I've learned that I need to create and learn my own philosophies. I know for a fact that we are all in this world existing with and influencing one another.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As for now, I'm purely traveling. But as soon as I move and settle in, I want to host as much of this awesome community as I possibly can.
