About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the beautiful world!

ABOUT ME

There are some who say that itâ

PHILOSOPHY

Open-mindedness is the key to a life full of experience. I have my own personal beliefs, and one of those which trumps all others is to not force my views onto others. I wish to know what others think, feel, and believe, and why, and I do not think one path is ever better than another.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love travelling. I found out about CS in my desire to affordably explore Japan for a while. My door is open to others wishing to travel as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have any CouchSurfing experiences...yet!

Interests

Adventure. Life was made to be lived and so as thanks for my life I intend to live it to the fullest. Success and happiness is not dependant upon amounts of money, but rather, what you do with that money. I love playing sports and being with my few close friends. I instruct the discipline of Parkour to kids whose lives really need turned around, and the feeling I get knowing I helped save lives is the best feeling I have ever experienced.
I also like poker, I think it's very fun to try to read people and play against the odds, just for fun. I have been taking Martial Arts recently, being able to defend myself and the ones around me is a good thing to have.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music, especially alternative! My favorite movies are The Matrix series, and I really like comedies. I tend to stay up to date with world news, and I prefer poetry when it comes to reading.
I have studied a lot about many religions, politics, history, language, art, music - but my favorite is by far philosophy. One of my favorite books is "The Law" by Frederic Bastiat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to list just one, I have seen and done many. Having so many dreams lived by the age of 21 I feel that the next step is to move on from my hometown and see the world. However, I would say having opened up to foreign exchange students in high school, especially when no one else would, and making them feel welcome, safe, and accepted and in the meantime creating life long friends is something I am very proud of. Also, learning how to do flips and tricks and completing my goals is always a reassurance that no matter how difficult things can be, if your heart is behind you, you can succeed.

Teach, Learn, Share

In learning a language, it helps to use it as much as possible in every day life. Listen to music, even if you don't understand the lyrics. Not only will you have the coolest music to share with your friends, but it will help your accent and you will start to recognize words in the songs. Become friends with people who speak the language near you, and practice! Change your items to that language - your phone, music device, even facebook! Immerse yourself in the language and in no time at all you will be able to speak with confidence. The best program to use: Rosetta Stone.
