He looks like Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother and plays Laser Tag like John Rambo! We rocked every game together and had heaps of fun.
If you've got the chance to meet Craig ... DO IT! Doesn't matter if he's hosting you or if it's just for a nice chat. He's an awesome bloke and I'm really looking forward to see him again sometime =)

 

Craig helped me out last minute by hosting my stuff for 2.5 months! I needed a place to store some things while I traveled, and he was the man! Craig is smart and funny, so it was easy to get along with him. Bangkok rocks!

helped me with my backpack while cycling south east Asia, gave me a book about why become a philosopher. could I ask for more?

Craig is a great guy, he helped me so much during my stay in Bangkok. I had 18 hours between flights, arrived at his place in the morning and went to breakfast with him. He pointed me in the right direction, explained the transport system and told me what was worth seeing. I could never have had this much fun in Bangkok without his help. I sincerely hope that I will see him again on my next stop in Bangkok in December, and I wish him all the best of luck for his business plans. He's got great ideas and the enthusiasm and skill necessary to make them reality.

 

Craig is a great guy, he instantly made me feel comfortable being alone in a strange city. He is a good guide and he won't get you lost. He also introduced me to some other really cool people in Bangkok to hang out with, as Craig works a LOT, and his time is precious. Thanks for a laugh Craig, and I'll look you up when I move back!

Craig is an unique and unforgettable guy. Hanging out with him guarantees some very interesting and thought provoking conversations as well as many fun times. Paul even got to surf his couch in Bangkok and had nothing but great things to say about the days he spent there. I feel lucky to be living in the same country with Craig, again, and I'm looking forward to getting together soon!

Craig is an amazing person with varied interests and the ability to make almost anyone feel at ease in conversation and inspire them to greater heights in life.

He is a crazy combination of laughs and insights into life, and I love that he actively seeks balance in life through his hobbies, skills, activities and ponderings.

Craig and I met on a steak nite that May organized.We were both late and so we already have a common ground to start with.Our conversation easily flows.
He is sweet, honest and lots of fun.A great host and makes perfect enchilada.Always keep that smile coming.

Craig is such a warm and welcoming guy. During the first meeting, we hit it up well with whacky yet substantial conversation the whole night. He's such an all rounded person; with looks, personality and brain. I enjoyed every single conversation we had and hope for more in the future.

Craig is nice guy and friendly. I met him first time at Chris's birthday party, he was kind and cared people around but I didn't talk to him much because my listening skill to american accent not that good yet and I think he knows that! hahaha..
But everytime I see him, I could see how nice he is.

Even though we only shared two weeks together sporadically many memories came from my meetings with Craig who was new to Bangkok. From art openings, to watching break dancing under the Sky Train at MBK to eating Duck noodle soup in a back alley of St. Louis after acupuncture treatments I must certainly say Craig rocks my world! Keep in touch buddy! We will make a business together sooner or later!

Craig is amazing! He hosted me on a last minute request on my way through San Antonio on my cross country trip even though he wasn't feeling his best. He took us out to some awesome mexican food (where I began to discover the Texan love of tequila), hooked us up with some cool freinds to go out with, and had some great suggestions for S.A. I wish I could have stayed a day longer for his Tequila party. I wish him the best in Thailand! San Antonio is surely going to miss him.

Craig is a really quality person. He welcomed me into the San Antonio group with a nice little welcome message that was thoughtful and appreciated. I've luckily been able to hang out with Craig on multiple occasions and had a blast. He is genuine, just an awesome all-round human being.

Was in San Antonio for only a few days but Craig hooked me up with some locals, and was generally a top guy! Meet him hes cool.

 

Craig is the bomb. He has a way of being a guy you've known for ages, after only a few hours. He and Krystal showed me around town and I had a great time. He has a 'my house is your house' mentality and made me feel quite comfortable there. It's a shame us Americans are losing him for a time, but our loss is Bangkok's delight, and I wish him the best.

 

He is a great guy! Very active and outgoing. Such an easy spirit, just being around his presence makes me smile!

Craig is my Ghanaian brother and we share a love for kelewele and fufu and all things Ghanaian. He is a great storyteller and has some rather seedy stories about Ghana that I LOVED hearing. It was great sharing our experiences together. You can't help but to smile when you think of Craig. When I say this guy is caring I really truly mean it. When I was laying sick and dying he played the ukulele for me. Can a person be any kinder than that? And when no one else wanted to, he cracked open a baby chicken embryo with me. He is a stand up guy and I hope I get to see him again!

Im not sure what to write as we had such a good time getting to know each other over the course of 2 drunken days!

He is a very decent guy, friendly and thoughtful, and goes to that extra length to make you feel welcome and show you the good things.

Took me to Taco Taco for some fine dining in San Antonio and shared many beverages and laughs at the leaving party!

He is a sweet as guy, who I guarentee you will get on well with, and you MUST either host or stay with him if the situation arises!

Craig hosted us for one night in San Antonio. He took us to a really good restaurant for dinner and gave us information of cool places to visit in the city. He taught us how to play to "Caps". It was really fun. He was a very good host.

 

Anytime I've been around Craig, he's got something to talk about. He's the sweetest guy! I've gotten to know more people on CS in San Antonio and surrounding areas, because of this guy. Everyone I've met through him are the most amazing bunch! I'm very lucky to have met him, and I hope you get the chance to too! I'm sure you'll have a blast of an adventure, if he's your host!

Craig is not only ambassador to San Antonio, he is first and foremost ambassador to the couchsurfing philosophy. Listening to him speak about his involvement was very inspiring and motivating.

He brought me to an election party where I got to witness a historic moment surrounded with the people whose country's fate was being decided. Very memorable times; he'll make you feel at home.

 

Craig is a VERY funny guy! We met in person at the Austin Potluck 10-25-08 and laughed a lot. I have just moved to San Antonio and Craig is helping me to meet the San Antonio CS crew.

As San Antonio CS Ambassador, Craig has also helped move sleepy San Antonio into the Couchsurfing Universe. Hang with Craig, and you'll meet some GREAT people! Thanks Craig!

What can I say? He's a responsible drunk, one of only four who are hip enough to spend the night after a wild day of drinking. In addition his conversation is smooth, his intellect is stimulating, and he wants to move to...Bankok!?!?! Hey, well they need more Texans, I'm sure. After all...who doesn't need more Texans?

Craig is the most CSingly nice man I know. A great group moderator, a treasure to the community, a gentleman and a scholar, a connosiour of fine beverages, and a dancer, but I've never seen him dance.

 

Well what can I say, I took his wallet, cell phone, drivers license, keys, and money! I'm def going to hell for that, but we returned it and he forgave me so were all friends now. Craig is a real cool guy with a great CS attitude, hope to see him at some more events and get togethers.

Craig is awesome, he kindly gave me a ride to a CS potluck. He is a very friendly guy and is fun to talk to. He even kept smiling when his car keys and wallet took a little field trip to Austin without him.

What is there to say about a man who shelters friends pets, helps out drunk friends of friends and arranges your next place to stay? Craig is absolutely somebody who knows the spirit of couchsurfing. Enjoyed his company and that of his friends. Hopefully we meet again somewhere, someday

Awesome human being with a warm heart and willingness to learn and teach and give and receive the grand and beautiful things this life has to offer.

Craig has a wonderful soul. He is honest when you need someone to be and silly when you don’t. I haven’t found a judgmental bone in his body. I could go on for pages about how Craig is totally awesome but really he’s an experience that can’t be written down just yet.

Craig is brilliant. He's a guy with many talents; scaling rocks, photography, the art of travel, and of course having fun! Craig is a happy guy and he shares that energy with those around him.

 

Craig's second name is probably 'the perfect host'. Honestly, he's so positive, welcoming, caring, social, open for new experiences, well-traveled, understanding, communicative... it was such a pleasure to be his guest. He took me out for tubing, dancing, and made me taste the best taco in America! Wow!

I just realized that I never left a reference for Craig. As everyone else has said, Craig is the kind of man who makes couchsurfing successful. He's a fabulous human being who will be greatly missed in the San Antonio couchsurfing circuit. He's makes friends with everyone he touches, and has an absolutely magnetic personality. I'm excited for his move just so that people in Thailand get to meet such a fabulous representative from our little country!

From the beginning, I've always seen that spark of life in Craig, but it wasn't until his incredible journey to Morocco that he became an inspiration to travel. He may say he wants to live the life I lead, but the feeling is mutual. He's crescent fresh at best.

Craig was really welcoming and friendly and immediately brought my friend and I to an awesome bar as soon as we got into town. He is a lot of fun to hang out with, and showed us a great time despite us arriving late at night on a random weekday.

We were able to fit all six of us in his little studio together with him, his girlfriend and the dog. We had a great time at the local bar playing pool and really appreciated the Mexican breakfast the morning after! Btw, we did go tubing which was great!!

Craig is a fantastic chap whose great to be around. He is the real deal. I enjoyed meeting him a lot and hope to see him in San Antonio.

Really chill guy, surfed along side him during Lolla this year and had a great time. I'm defintitely going to have to go to Texas sometime now.

Craig and I share the concept of "no limits" hosting, so I told him and travelling companions, sure! You can be #'s 8-10 to be surfing my floor for Lollapalooza weekend. Good times had by all. Great guy.

craig's a very interesting and respectful person. his spirit seemed to me as ever hungry and full of admiration for the world we live in.. that's a virtue more of us should have

Immediately after meeting Craig, I could tell that he's one of those San Antonians who knows where the cool hang-outs are. (I know where the libraries are.) When the bouncer/doorman at a bar wouldn't accept our international friend's national ID card and other documents as proof of his age, Craig knew a place that was more understanding (i.e., less totalitarian).

From the stories he told, it's obvious that Craig seeks out fulfilling experiences in whatever culture he finds himself immersed in -- be it in College Station (in Texas) or Ghana. He's easy to be around, has a lot to say, and knows way too much about UFC. He may not have much space in his efficiency apartment, but he's very generous with it. I recommend him to anyone -- and six of their friends.

 

After some messages, finally I met him for a lunch and the both of us needed a rest after the previous night with several drinks..so we drunk a margarida..lol. I had good vibes from the beginning. He is a good guy and a formidable entertainer. Funny, clever and with tons of stories to tell. He invited me also at his place where we had relax. I met different CS ambassadors and I can say that Craig must be one of them. He has the perfect spirit and the charateristics to be a great ambassador. I have been lucky to meet him. Thank you for everthing, hope to meet you again!

 

Craig was a wonderful host for the brief time I was in San Antonio! He suggested good veggie friendly places to eat and took my friend Marni and I out for a fun and memorable night on the town! He is an overall great person not to mention host!

Craig is a wonderul host! He was extremely nice and worked around his schedule and mine for an all-round great experience! If you are staying in San Antonio, I would try and stay with this guy!!! He went above and behond as a host!

Craig and Kasey are excellent hosts and very cool people with a lot of travel experience and worldly knowledge. They have an awesome puppy who is suspiciously clean. Jon and I had a blast in San Antonio. Craig introduced us to the town of New Braunfels which is kinda like a real world Disneyland where you get to play in the river and drink a shitton of beer while floating on a tube. Next time we will bring a credit card in a ziplock baggie so we can get shots at the bar halfway down the river.

 

craig is awweesooomme! how come more people can't be like him?? craig is so warm, friendly, and fun! he willingly gives his time and energy to make sure someone else is having a good time. i'd trust craig more than many of my own friends...that says a lot especially since we've only met once or twice but when you find great people, sometimes you just know... and with craig, i definitely know.
