Thanks Kent for taking me in and the culinary introductions! Kent is whatever kind of host you want him to be but a great one no matter what.

Kent is a swell guy. Good drinks, good fun, and good times. Take care my friend.

kent and his girlfriend (with a cute accent) were very hospitable and have a really cool red couch, which we did not sleep on, but if we had, it would've been very comfy still. also showed us a pretty funny montreal promotional video.

 

Kent is full of experiences and stories. His interesting take on everytihng makes him a fun person to talk to. Very much enthusiastic I suppose about everything. Was a pleasure to mee him in Indy and hope to see him again during our travels...

 

I met kent at a CS event during his weekend trip to INDY. It was a meeting of CS from all over and it was nothing less than a great time!

 

Kent hosted us on short notice and was nice enough to pick us up in his luxurious Ford Escort. We only hung out briefly, but I definitely felt welcome at his place and I'm looking forward to meeting again on my next trip to Chicago (or conversely on his next trip to Montreal)!

Kent welcomed me into his home and was hell-bent on showing me a good time (which was awesome! and very encouraging). He not only showed me around the town but he took me to some excellent food joints around town, and you should definitely ask him about "THE EGG." I had a great time and because of my excellent time, my new new years resolution is to be more active on coachsurfing.

 

I met Kent and Abby at the Holiday Club and we talked about cheap beers, Wicker Park, and recommending food to out-of-towners. Clearly he's a big deal on this site, and it's not surprising why -- Kent's friendly, funny, and always eager to meet new people. I'll see him at a CS event sometime soon!

 

I met Kent at a Northwest Amb meetup in Chicago. He was full of life and had alot of great stories. Are time was short, but maybe I'll catch him down the trail.

We didn't get to spend much time with Kent during our stay to Chicago but he was a friendly guy with lots to talk about & we really enjoyed our visit to the city.

Kent & Abby were both sweet, friendly & welcoming people & we really enjoyed our time in Chicago staying with them although it was a shame we didn't get to hang out more.

He was very friendly and we ate delicious food. Then there was a party without pants, and nobody knew what to make of that.

Kent, Abby, Natalie and Morgan (Jackson & Biscuit)were my first cs experience. 3 nights became 8 days, they were awesome! When coming back after a weeks traveling it was like coming home.
Kent is fun, outgoing, telling u one story after the other and has an incredible pronunciation asking u "How was ur shopping experience?" in Polish.
I really hope to c u and Abby in Heidelberg next summer and challenge ur Polish drinking abilities.

Kent was my first couchsurf-experience. It was nice staying at his place, he is a good host who I can recommend.

Kent is an absolutely stellar host, and a rockstar of an individual. He showed me what having an awesome time in Chicago is all about. I look forward to seeing him again sometime soon, either here or there. Potato-based beverages will be consumed!

Kent is a positive, helpful, smart and all around amazing individual. He helped me get to know Chi-town and was a great person to talk to. Also, he helped me to hone my elastic band spotting skills.

 

Kent is a true ambassador both for couchsurfing and for Chicago. It was a great experience surfing his couch, and a pleasure to meet him

 

Kent is a rad dude and is really supportive of the couchsurfing community as a whole. Had tons of fun trekking his area of town and checking out "the only hill in Chicago." Definitely had fun staying with him and he's welcome at my place if he ever comes west.

Yeah, the name suits him well! Bring him a rubber elastic (well those things that keeps yourhair together, but it really hurts...) and he will be delighted! Do not sleep on the green couch, take the flowery one!

It's a shame they took away "Extremely Positive" because this man truly deserves it. Kent is by far the coolest ambassador I've met. This, despite him stuffing me in a closet and blinding me with that gold watch. I still don't know how this man drinks vodka with such abandonment. I'm thankful that he jazzed up my phone and gave me tips on self-promotion. Looking forward to the revival of CrazyKent!

Kent is a cool guy, very laid back! I met him at a local CS event and it was fun to finally meet and hang out!

Kent, is a cool guy I met through Abby. He's a great tour guide, in know about Wicker Park, and happing places in the Chicago area. Quite an entertaining fellow. Thanks for letting me stay at your place Kent!

he was really a nice host..he cares a lot about my stayed in Chicago, told a lot stories and touring around the city..I even had my own room, and he pick me up from the train station..really opne person , kind and generous...so such a nice representative what it means been a couhc surfer...

Kent is a wonderful host, hes funny and spontaneous and will make anyones visit fun and exciting. He is also a very kind and generous person giving freely of himself and his time. Kent thank you so much for such a great few days you made it really enjoyable, i had a fantastic time. An extremely awesome guy who had tons of stories to share and lives the life I am too scared to live, therefore i live vicariously through him. I would def. recommend him as either a travel buddy or just a person to have as a great friend.

i'm very glad to meet Kent, he's a very interesting person and has many many stories to tell. really, alsmost half of the nite we did not sleep because he had what to say! and things to discuss abt.. he's really smart:) Though my opinion abt the global warming may sound like george bush's :), but anyhow that was a very interresting conversation we had:)Hope see u again!

Ordinarily I might be a tad skeptical of someone who stalks people from the "safety" of a garbage can, but since I know your Mom, Naaaaahhh!!! Keep those creative juices flowing.

 

Kent is a great person to chat w/. He loves life & Couchsurfing. He also has some great stories. His entire family was a riot and made the Tampa gathering we attended even more fun.

Kent stifeled my qualms about couch surfing by hosting my first ever CS event! He is a great guy who wont hesitate to share is knowledge about anything and everything. =]

Our visit in Sept 08 to Chicago was made perfect due to Kent's vast knowledge of his new hometown. We took his Chicago Food Planet tour & learned some great history & sampled some tasty eats. Kent knows where a visitor should go for a great time. If you want to see the city, enjoy great nightlife & eat what your taste buds desire-he knows exactly where to go. Have your walking shoes ready because he will try to show you the most in the least amount of time! Thanks for hosting us-we will be back.

Kent was the reason cause of which I met local CSurfers of Indy. Thanks Kent for putting together that meetup. It was really nice meeting him and look fwd to catch up with him sometimes in Chicago.

 

Kent is a great guy to have at your house. He stayed for a weekend and we went out a little and he made some great tea. I would not hesitate to host or hang with Kent you will not regret it.

 

We surfed Noah's couch after the Indy meet. Nice guy. He has a lot of stories to tell about his travel and CS experiences.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add. He entertained an old gentleman probably in his 70's for over an hour at a bar.

Kent organized an event in Indy while visiting from Chicago. He helped several Indy couch surfers get to know each other. He also managed to entertain one pleasant old gentleman who "rested" with us for over an hour at the Rathskellar that evening.

Kent is an active Couch Surfer who shared many of his positive experiences. He set up a CS meet-up in Indianapolis and probably would be a lot of fun to host.

Ok, so officially, Kent and I have chilled more twice, one might say, thrice...he is THE Bonaaz. Kent goes the extr mie to surf with newer folks or on "exotic" couches, and in al regards he beliees and lives for what this community does at its core. He is an explorer and communer, by nature. i am fully gad that his homebase is in my city, for he wil make an excellent Nomad.

Kent is a true couch surfer. He is an amazing conversationalist with an extensive repertoire of stories.

 

Kent was so great! He was very friendly and outgoing and a joy to talk to. I would host him anytime!

 

Kent's a great guy, stayed at our place at the last minute during his trip to Minneapolis. Hope to run into him in the future again when life is a little less hectic.

Kent was a fun guy to kick it with on a nice sunny spring day in Mpls. Lot's of fun stories to tell! a very nice, funny, and interesting person.

Kent has the bestest stories ever! I wonder if I could negotiate with him writing a script for a movie in the future. He sure is passionate about traveling, meeting new people, and finishing his life long dream which he'll accomplish sometime in 2008. Go Kent! if you can't do it no one...kan!

 

It was my first time meeting this group and he sat down and began a conversation, making me feel very comfortable. I was nervous until he sat down and we started to converse. Really a good guy.

We had a celebrity siting at Hot Chocolate, saw an eclipse and had drinks at Danny's. It was a pleasant night! He's a great dude!

 

I originally met Kent at a Madison coffee shop for a little CS gathering and enjoyed some interesting conversations with him. He sure knows how to make me laugh (or at least put a smile on my face)! I ended up surfing his couch in Chicago for a weekend, and he showed me the best time I've had in a long time. Kent knows his way around and makes for a great guide (in more ways than one!). He's very social and can read people like a book. He's a great guy to talk to about pretty much anything. I'm glad I got the chance to get to know him better, and I hope we get to hang out a lot more in the future. He'll always have a couch available to him at my place!

Mr. Seaver played host to my very first CS meeting.. I had tons of fun and would recommend him to a friend. lol. ^_^

 

Kent is the aspiring overlord of the CouchSurfing community. I think he may have a pretty good shot at it too! We discussed mass invasions of other cities with hordes of crazed Surfers and his neat golden watch as I witnessed him eat an entire pizza in one sitting. I'd hang out with him anytime.

Some people become CouchSurfers, but I got the feeling Kent always has been one. He's such an inspiring guy. If you haven't met him yet, don't worry. He's probably coming to a town near you, sooner or later.

 

Kent astounds me with his ability to never really NEED a permanant residence. He might have one, but he could pick up and leave at the drop of a dime and never look back. He makes friends so easily, which I guess is why he can achieve happiness just about anywhere. He has a great sense of humor and is fun to be around. He's always down for some good conversation and cheap wine.

It's nice to discover someone you don't know, eating in front of you, and enjoying food as much as you do!

In this ethiopian restaurant for a CS meeting, we were four sharing a big plate, and Kent and I probably ate the three quarters of the plate!

He's really willing to meet people, and he has a nice open-minded attitude.

I wish I had gotten to sit next to Kent in my first CS Meeting because he seemed so interesting from across the table. We didn't talk very much but I really liked his style. He's a really intelligent person who seems like he's into the same stuff as me. Kent is a natural conversationalist, he was socializing with everyone at the table. He's very humorous as well. I always seemed to see him laughing or smiling the entire night. I hope to surf his couch in Florida some day.

Kent is a fun character and he has a great personality. anyone who dances and travels with trash cans is a ok in my book ;) hes great, and im glad i met him thru miss abby.

 

Kent emailed me just when I was wishing to meet more couchsurfers! He and Abby seem like great people and spirited travellers. We met up to have some drinks and discuss the fascinating world of CS. It was a good, good time.

Had a great time chatting with Kent about traveling stories and our Chicago lives. Looking forward to more opportunties to hang out.

 

Kent is a pretty chill person with a kind disposition. He is open-minded and a great person to know in a big city like Chicago. Plus if you are really nice, he'll serve you up some awesome tea. Awww!

Kent is the best kind of person to could come into contact with! His positive outlook on life is something that will rub off on you. His need to find the funnest thing at any given moment and his motivation to meet as many new people at all times is enough to make anyone instantly love him. You would be a fool to not let this person stay at your home.

kent was super fun to hang out with! we rode bikes, ate food, hung out at open eye together, i'm glad he came by! recommended!

ok ok ok, so kent drinks tequila & cranberry juice -- that's no reason to judge him. he's a good guest, and leaves love notes before his departure.

Kent is officially my best couchsurfing introduced friend. Great conversation, super fun and really positive about any situation. He travelled with a trash can on his back. That makes him cool.

This guy will change your life. Seriously, you've probably never met someone who looks at the world like Kent Seaver. Let him bond with your couch and you'll find that after your time is over, it looks incomplete without him.

I've known this dude for an extremely long time and he rocks. We've traveled all over the eastern seaboard together and have collaborated on numerous photo adventures.
