Danielle is one of the most inspiring and beautiful people I have ever had the pleasure of spending time with.. a true soul with much love to give!

Danielle and her roommate Josh are both super cool and very generous people. Both were very open and accepting of me and my buddies. They have very comfortable accomadations and are walking distance from downtown Newport, KY and Cincinatti, OH. They also have a very cute, little dog. Overall, it was a great time staying there and an excellent experience.

I met D and Josh through Dave when I came to Cincy in October. D and Josh were both very easy-going and friendly, and I immediately liked the both of them. The couch they offered me was supplemented with several extra cushions--it was totally like my bed in New York. Later on we all drank adult drinks and played pool and D and I had Indian food and overall it was a very positive experience! Plus Josh's dog Gracie is adorable. You should hang out with these people!

D and I have been roommates for a couple months now and things go very smoothly. She has a wonderful heart and cares about people in an amazing way. Before this I stayed at her house a couple of times and we had some good times.

Danielle and her super cool momma, Grace came and surfed my couch...very beautiful people...we enjoyed their company very much...you gotta have Danielle sing for you...she has an amazing voice...so i'm here dreaming of jerk chicken until their next visit...see you in mango season!..don't get run over by a plane:)

Danielle helped me out heaps with a last minute request reply. It was pretty late when we caught up and Danielle traveling herself early the next day, so whilst we got to chat a bit it would have been soo good spend some more time together.

Danielle's life is hectic but she opened up her new apartment and the comfy couch. Josh was heaps of fun too and we had some good laughs. If you ever get to Cincy OH/Newport KY then catching up with Dandann would be a great move.

Someday I would love to catch up with Danielle, so you'll have to come out my way!!!

 

Dandan is great! Very easygoing, chill and full of positive energy. I'm looking forward to hanging out more with her!

Well what can I say? Ms. Day is indeed something else and if her positive energy and attitude is not enough to make you smile, her odd way of thinking and unusual comments will surely do the trick.. Or if nothing else she will offer to kick you in the shins. I work with her just about everyday and I have to say she helps make the work day much more enjoyable, she has a lot more experience with CS then I and if you’re looking to travel she is a safe bet. True she can be a bit odd but in her world everyone is a pony and we all eat rainbows and poo butterflies. Have to say I can not see going too long without hanging out with her even, and its nice to have made a new friend, hope to meet a few more.. If I ever leave my cave.

 

Danielle hosted me for my first CS experience, which makes her priceless :) Heck, how many people get the chance to HotelSurf for their first official overnighter!! An absolutely awesome host - hands down! Besides laughing my ass of till 4 am in the morning, I learned a lot about her past, present, and her goals for the future. Beeman's sarcasm and ability to relate made my trip :D So, if you are headed to Cincinnati, stop by Danielle's and have some cake (haha)!!

 

My friend Eric and I were 'surfing with our new friend Brian. We had an incredible night eating ethiopian food and watching the most incredible storm I have ever seen, playing baritone ukulele and talking into the wee hours of the morning. Danielle is an optimist, a ton of fun, and a person with much integrity. I look forward to hanging out and hopefully playing awesome music in the future!

 

Danielle is great fun! we've hung out several times from going duckpin bowling, to her busting my cherry for UFC fighting. we also did ethiopian together and went out tornado baiting in a meijer parking lot in NW indy, following by a trek out to the white river, and got to see some of her ukelele skills (and she's got 'em) on my balcony. we've even gone to a vegan/raw party at a friend of mine's house along w/cyclin' chowda heads from Massachusetts. she's always great fun, until she has to go to work :) Danielle is just plain awesome. can't wait to hang out much more.

Danielle is great fun, both at work and out and about. She can throw (er... "place") bags with the best of 'em, dodge flying traffic cones and shopping carts, and speak better Spanish than my grandparents. Her Castilian lisp notwithstanding, she's a great person! :-p

Danielle is my roommate. She lives upstairs.

 

Even if we didn't spend much time together, she looked like a nice girl with a beautiful smile :) Hopefully we'll meet again in july and I would like to listen to her music!

Coincidimos un par de veces en varios encuentros con gente de couchsurfing y aunque no llegamos a profundizar, parece tranquila, agradable y transmite buenas sensaciones. Espero que la proxima vez tengamos mas tiempo para compartir experiencias.

Cuando Danielle me dijo que venía a Pamplona, lo primero que dije SIIIII!!!!!, es que vente a casa. Con Danielle, lo pasamos muy bien, es una chica simpatiquisima, buenisima y sobretodo muy muy divertida. Aun que ya estaba acabando San Fermín, salimos, y como bien dice tratamos de comer TRES!!!!!!!, sí, 3 veces en el restaurant vegetariano, sin buenos resultados, comimos donde nos pillaba, y lo pasamos muy bien, salimos en busca de un gatín, tampoco sin exito hasta hoy, y todo un honor tenerla cantando en casa, con esa voz inigualable, pero que es tacana, porque no me quiere enviar sus temas.

SIEMPRE SERÀS BIENVENIDA!!!!!!!

 

She needed a place to live, so I offered her a place to stay, so she is my newest roommate :) She is a very nice person and has the most amazing voice, you should check her out at open mic sometime, you will be impressed. Promise.

LOVE THIS GIRL! She's amazzzzing!! Can't wait to travel anywhere with her... our current trip planning is Hawaii!!

Danielle is a cool girl, I met her while she was in Florida trying to get out of the cold!

I love the fact that it took us a while to realize that we had already met virtually via CS when we met in person!!! Thanks to the spirit of Athens we have been running into each other at parties and dance nights and concerts and Ivan's after parties!!! I definitely recommend joining Danielle for any of these or similar activities!!

 

A really fun person to be around. I have a feeling that she could make you smile no matter how down you are. Just don't listen to her playlist ;)

Danielle is an awesome spirit and an old soul! I really hope she liked G-ville enough to possibly move here because she made a ton of friends really quickly and is already missed :)

I don't know, I'm probably a little biased because I go gaga for anyone who will play me Mirah cover songs, but Danielle was super cool. Let her crash on your couch, and you'll be very pleased with the results.

Danielle was an awesome host/travelmate. We met in Louisville and road together to the Great American Unclaimed Baggage Center Roadtrip CS event. She's got a great attitude and would definitely host her if she was passing through St. Louis.

I feel genuinely lucky to have gotten to meet Danielle. If you meet her, I'm going to guess you will feel the same way. Hearing her sing/play guitar on top of this, all I can say is, wow!

 

Danielle hosted the 3rd Sunday Potluck and got a bunch of us together, me out of the house for a CS experience for the first time. Thanks Danille!

 

Had some very good times with Danielle. She's knows how to party aaaannnd plays some wicked songs. I'd love to take you up on the OH/FL thing if I get the chance. And let me know if you're ever in Atlanta!

 

Danielle is a positive, creative and powerful person. She really helped make the Great Unclaimed Baggage Center Road Trip of '08 an unforgettable experience. Just don't pass out with her in the room ;]

i met her in pamplona in 2006, she is friendly, fun and intresting. i m happy to be his friend! :D

She is one sweet ass chicka!! I'm pumped up to get some of our plans rollin' that we talked about while at the event together. She was a wonderful random companion, and I can't wait to see her some more. I fully expect more Banana's in my future! :)

I met Dann a few months ago, and as soon as I met her I knew that she is one of my tribe.. She is very interesting and fun. Loves to play and laugh and will take a good care of you.. for sure!!!!

 

blebereblereb!! Dandann used my poor, dead car as a beacon of hope for finding the lodge and our surfspot for the next two nights. There commenced nerf wars, music, Roman activities, and other silly unmentionables. She helped me look at guitars in Alabama (Thanks!!) and i'ma see her again sometime I bet.

danielle has a very pretty voice, plays mean and melodic guitar and she also make a great roman.

Danielle was at the GUBCRT 08 where I met her. She ended up driving thru Atlanta on her way to Fla. She crashed at my pad for couple days along with Mimsy, another CS. We stayed up way too late and had a blast! I hope we cross paths again.

From initiating one of the most brutal guerilla nerf beatdowns in history, to creating a beautiful piece of human art, to star-gazing under navy-seal-training circumstances, to documenting the mating rituals of japanese stuffed animals, to creating tennis courts out of thin air, to...

I could go on but words can not describe the experience.
This lady knows how to party and light up the environment!! Kind-hearted and kick-ass all around, I'd totally share the cookie jar with her.

 

We sifted through unclaimed luggage treasures, danced & shot each other with dart guns, gazed at shooting stars on a freezing pier in AL on the Great Unclaimed Baggage Road Trip! Too bad more people aren't like Danndann-- she exudes warmth, wisdom, openness, and good cheer, and has great taste in music. Oye, firmaste mi hoodie? Something tells me our paths will meet again:)

She was an awesome host and a genuinely great person! I would recommend her couch :)

Danielle hosted my friend and I while we were road-tripping and filming a documentary. Danielle is an amazing singer-songwriter and a great host. Hit me up when you're in my area!

It was a pleasure to meet Danielle. She lives in one of the many great cities named Athens, has good stories to tell, a beautiful voice and she brought cookies :)

It was aweseome to hang out with Danielle! She seems to be a relaxed, in tune with herself kind of person. I was so thrilled that she was able to couchsurf with CO during the Exciting Underwear party.

UPDATE: We went to Orlando together to meet some friends of mine for information on making money while traveling around the world! It was an awesome and enlightening experience. She is so great to be around!

This was just the first of many good times to come. With mutual interests in nutrition and music along with CS and travel, our lives will cross paths many times to come; who knows, maybe even in Argentina. Make the time to get to know her; her music will touch your heart.

Danielle is a super friendly, outgoing, and energetic young woman. Met her during the monthly Potluck in Miami and hit the beach together as well as swam in the ocean in Miami's nude section. That says it all! How could you not have fun with her? Hope to meet you again sometime!

Danielle has a stunning voice and when we met at a CS potluck down in Miami, her songs were like lullabies to me; I fell asleep while she was singing, but still deep down in my mind I kept listening to her magnificent voice and lyrics in Spanish, which I love. Kind of a surreal experience it was.

 

Danielle played the guitar and sang wonderfully in Miami's potluck. Beautiful voice that kept all of us quiet and relaxed. We talked a bit about her Spanish experience and just can say she's a very nice person.

 

I met Danielle at the 3rd Sunday Potluck here in South Florida and we had a wonderful time!! Eventhough her "Publix" Mac & Cheese got more compliments than the gourmet pastries I persoally made I still liked her! :D Can't wait to get together again at an other event!

 

Had such a great time meeting Danielle! She is an awesome woman with an adventurous spirit. Hope to see you again when you're back in South Florida!

Danielle is a fun person! Beautiful and a great sense of humor. Loves new foods, foreign languages and would embrace your culture. She is a global citizen and student of the world.

I had a great time with Danielle. She is simply awesome. We connected very quickly and in a very short time it felt like I had known her for years! She is warm and a little quiet at first but once she gets going...and the girl has talent!!! OMG Girl, you gotta sing more often! Absolutely lovely voice and she's great with her guitar.

Recently, Danielle was my couch guest for the weekend and we had a great time. Her personality is extremely versatile and she loves to learn and experience just about everything. I put her to the test when I took her to the gay scene in Fort Lauderdale, FL and even to the Gay Rodeo event! What a hoot! We had such a great time.

A great thing about Danielle, in my opinion, is that she is very engaging and open minded, but she is also very self-sufficient and does not need a lot from her host. She is very flexible and can be as laid back or on the run as you can handle.

Danielle has something to offer just about any person. She speaks several different languages and plays several musical instruments. She has a very eclectic collection of music as well.

I highly recommend surfing or hosting Danielle.

 

Danielle & I spent many hours together one beautiful Sunday! We ate chips, talked about weinerville, laughed, drank Strongbow's on South Beach and acted very silly together. I can't wait to do it all again!

04/08 Ok, I have to add to this reference as I have had the chance to hang out with her again! Danielle's passion, joy and enthusiasm for life are contagious! She will travel hours for a good time, and to try something new. Plus, she travels with her own cayenne pepper and juicer! Danielle is the kind of friend that when we are hanging out together, and acting like complete goofballs, the people around us say "Are THEY the weird ones, or am I"? Hmmmmm, we may never know!

I'm so glad I met Danielle and her mother at the Ft. Pierce Couchsurfing event. She has a beautiful voice and was a ton of fun to hang out with. Tell her to bring her Mom, so much fun!

This person comes highly recommended! I have known her for years as we struggled though the soap opera that is high school. Funny, fun, and has a free spirit!!!!

 

Danielle had this wonderful idea for a pot luck in West Palm. We only spoke for a brief....Oh Look there's a bunny...time, but I'm sure we'll be getting together again soon.
Update.....We are regular friends now. I love hanging out with her she is sooooo much fun. And I love her Mom too. Don't pass up the chance to meet her!

 

This little songbird will fly into your life and just absolutely light it up! I could produce a litany (S.A.T. word! Triple word score in Scrabble!) about how cool, awesome, fun-loving and helpful she is - but I'd rather let yo uhave the fun of finding out for yourself.

After meeting her at a couple of potlucks in Miami, I enjoyed her company so much that I invited her to dinner with my family on my way out of the state. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that if I lived in town, she and I would hang out together all the time - and this pleases me.

Yea!!! WE met up after many weeks of E-mailing back and fourth, and then went road tripping to KEYWEST together. WOW! What are great person, full of life and energy. Always has a great, new idea of what to do next in a moment! Very outgoing, a great travel partner, Honest, Considerate, and Strong in personality, A GREAT FRIEND! I cant wait to explore with her again! When and where will our next adventure be? I can hardly wait!

Danielle is a neat person who from what I gathered is figuring out her life through travel, explorations, meeting people etc. I learned also a good amount about Pais Basco, Athens OH, the highlands of Jamaica etc. from talking with her. It was a very brief visit as i'm in the midst of moving, had another close friend visiting etc., so we couldn't connect so long, but i was happy to help her in her temporary move down to FL. she's also able to sleep curled up solo on a papasan chair better than most anyone i know! cool character who seemed to have quite a good first CS experience, and fits in well with the CS community and philosophy, i'd say.

Danielle was one cool click back in 10th grade. I'm guessing she still is if she's hosting couch surfers!
