Current Mission:
I am on a mission to learn and share as much as I can with as many sources, people, places as possible. I am also on a mission to sample delicious fruit from ALL OVER the planet - whilst serenading... everyone with my crazy gypsy musical sagas.
I am, how do you say... Nomadic. For a long time I hopped back n forth between Athens and my parents' non-changing-every-few-months address. Now I have added - The Rest of the Planet. So you may have to track me down to surf - or I'll probably find you :D
I wont be back in Florida for a lil while tho, so you're seriously gonna have to track me down if you want to surf my sleeping bag.
Proposed Schedule for 2011-2012:

My parents are Jamaican, I was born an American, I was raised with Caucasians, I look like an African-American.
so...
I think I'm hispanic....
My goal is to find a place to plant my Homeground - the base that I return to after my travels. I kind of want it to be like Jamaica, but in Spanish - with access to some portal of universal learning and international activity.
For example, I used to live in this BEAUtiful small town, hippie style. Its one big family and everyone is chill. Money isnt exactly necessary, and we all look out for each other. Within the small town is a BIG university where about 20,000 students come for about 10 months of the year from ALL OVER THE PLANET. We have sister schools in Hong Kong, Japan, Spain, etc. They bring the learning and the culture within grasp in the middle of this tiny, remote, biking and hiking hippy town. I LOVED it!
ONLY problem --> its cold in the winter, and the common language is English.
Give me Athens, Ohio with a Playa and I'll never complain.
I am an 80/10/10 raw foodist. Mangos, papayas, watermelon, canistel, BANANAS!!! Oh bananas galore! It just makes me feel so... so... Delicious!!! Dont worry about feeding me as I generally eat small forests at each meal. Just point me to your nearest fruit & veggie stand and I'll clear em out.
How I Participate in CS
I pretty much tell every cool person I meet about Couchsurfing. I've inducted friends, my brother, some co-workers, working on my parents. I travel, a LOT and meet surfers around the world on my way, AND whenever I hear about promo jobs or airline positions I pass on the info to surfers who live nearby.
EDIT 2010
I dont know why I'm surprised anymore...
FACT OF (my) LIFE:
You PROBABLY met or are meeting me through some haphazard last minute post/request or I just showed up somewhere. I am admitting it - HERE - I AM ADMITTING IT! 80% (aka 99%) of the things I do are last minute. If I find out that there's a super cool shop in your town or something, you'll probably get an email from me that tonight asking if we can hang out tomorrow. It's a fact. Or you'll meet me at a potluck in Zimbabwe or something - note that I probably found out about the potluck the night before and CS requested someone, or slept in the airport cause my 'last minute surfing' is TOO last minute for most normal people.
On the other hand, I've had several super cool people drop me a line saying that they were already IN town - some of the coolest people I've hosted - maybe because we have so much in common....
SOMEtimes I plen things
- see there, I cant even spell it right... p-l-a-n. maybe if i start using it in sentences i'll figure out how to do it.
I suppose dont really mind - it keeps my life interesting... and SUPER kudos to you if you dont mind either! HOPEfully I'll have a real excuse soon (applying to be a flight attendant). Maybe I'll come visit you...

Philosophy
Let love be your only debt! If you love others, you have done all that the Law demands. - Romans 13.8
Papa gave each of us unique gifts and purposes. If I'm not using and pursuing them, I'm really not living at all.
NObody knows me better than the One who made me, and He's unchanging. It does me no good to define myself by pop culture, funded by greedy advertisers and drug companies. I am who I AM says I am. And YOU are perfect because Papa made you that way.

Opinion on the CouchSurfing.org Project
I THINK IT'S THE GREATEST THING EVER!!!
and i wanna meet you
This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you.
