It’s such a pity we didn’t have time to hang out more! But that one evening was just perfect)) I think I’ll be dreaming about real tiramisu pretty soon)) And miss porchetta-style outings so much;) see you around the world ^__^

I just arrived in Rome and was overwhelmed by this magnificent city and the massive tourists. Fulvio kindly invited us to dinner and showed me the truth side of Rome. He also had some super funny stories. Thank you so much Fulvio!

Fulvio hosted me for 2 nights in ROme.Even if I was quite stressed he showed me as a touristic guide his city. He organized every nights special events: we went to the concert of Radici di Cemento, we had a dinner at home and tours in different pubs with the other cs. He's a real spirit of Cs, interesting in everything is cultural. Moreover he passed me his taste for the good music and I discovered that we apreciate the same kind of music.He know a lot about every band and musicians.So it's a pleasure listen to him while he's teaching about them.He is a smiling boy, rich of enthusiasm and positive energy.If you go to ROme you have to meet him!

After having crossed our ways several times in the tricky cs forums and other social network, FINALLY I've met this man!
I've appreciated many times his indipendent way of thinking and his non-conformist provocations and reflections.
Finally we met in Geraci cs camp, where we shared good times, amazing landscapes, funny chats, an instant love for the sheepdog and even some sickness. It's always nice when you meet soulmate but now I'm sure: when I grow up i wanna be a Disturbator!

 

I met Fulvio several times in tuscany for CS meeting and concert in Siena, then we shared an awesome meeting in Geraci, sicily.
I share lot of passions with Fulvio overall our volunteering activity in Africa. We also enjoy good company, food , drink and music! So it was easy to be friend in few moments.
I really appreciate what Fulvio does and the way he does it. He is a person to meet of course and I look forward to his coming back to sicily.

 

Yes it is true Fulvio is a... “disturbator guest” I felt so uncomfortable with him!. I‘m kidding I guess we met somewhere in the past or for sure we crossed out paths somewhere. He is an "old style traveller" (we speak about... our amazing generation!). Even if I met first in 2 crazy parties I really appreciated know him better when I hosted him in my place. It is so easy for me find many points of views in common with Fulvio and we have got many interesting discussion about whatever. For me know Fulvio it has been as I met a real old friend. Fulvio makes you feel so good, even at 1500 meters and under sicilian sun!! I'm quite sure we will meet again for have more great time together. See you... "disturbator" now I know your username!

Despite fresh cheese he has been one of the craziest during the meeting confirming the impression I got first time we meet a couple of years ago in Vico Lake. Definetly a guy who I would like improving knowledge with

 

Fulvio fished Kombifiks and me out of the shark's pond at Trastevere and treated us like two party queens. He revealed places to us we've never seen before, but def going going to see again! That street and that garden was yum for girls like us: with appetite for the good life! And his place was the bomb too. Man, what a man!

Bless Fulvio! He is a kind gentleman and a Roman at heart (but he may a secret. I will let you find out yourself.) He and his friends picked me up to go to Villa Alda together to spend a great evening listening to live music. It is a night I will never forget in Rome! Grazie mille!!!

Fulvio has a big heart for anyone! Adam and I admired his positive attitude and motivated to learn about our deaf culture. I was inspired to see a person who was so interested to learn about our language because it is very rare to meet a person like him! PLUS- he is a fast learner! I was very impressed!! He is too good to be real!!!
Fulvio took us to different places that where we should see, taste, touch and smell in Rome! He is a wonderful host!
I truly hope that you will come and visit us in America, we will make sure that you will experience the same thing we experienced in Rome!!

It's so difficult to write a real reference about Fulvio. His references are all so true and you can read a lot of good words because it's true, he's a roman attraction, he's energy, he's positive, he's generosity, he's Love for Life. But until you don't meet him, you drink a beer with him, you've a dinner, you've a deep chat with him on the sand in front of the sea in the evening, you can't realize how meeting Fulvio makes you feel so good! :)

I met him just a few times during my trip in Rome, But he always put a big smile upon my face and made me laugh a lot. A very friendly, funny, intelligent and interesting person to talk with. See you in Siberia :)

Fulvio is an incredible man, very active in CS and in his life. Full of interests and ideals, it's always a pleasure to spend time with him, also because everytime we met in a roman CS party

For the 16 or so hours that I had the chance of getting to know Fulvio, it was like a marathon stand-up comedy club routine...this guy's funny! Had a great time with him and his friends and enjoyed his pasta for brunch! Grazie!

Fulvio is a never-tired-guy and staying with him is absolute FUN :) Especially when he drives his car and he's pointing to all the "veri turistic attractions" in Rome, speaking in english while we were all italians and joking all the time :) Actually I think that's him THE MOST INTERESTING TOURIST ATTRACTION in Rome!!! see you soon Fulvio!!!

i believe he has found the way to change the world, starting with the small stones to move also the bigger mountain.

Ah Fulvio, where would Rome be without you? This lovely man is passionate about his city and we drove around like, well... Italians to many of the amazing historical hotspots. Then a few shots of grappa and some knock-your-socks-off cocktails with Philippe and we were soon dancing on the tables. Fun, fun, fun. Genuine, warm and chatty. Great to hear you're putting your efforts into Africa.

Fulvio is an energetic and crazy (in a good way!) guy. He's a great cook and knows all the best late night desert places! We had some very interesting discussions about different life philosophies. It was a really good time :)

I met him in his garden during a big BBQ. He offered his house to a lot of people he'd never met... He's so funny, but at the same time can tell you amazing words... Maybe even because of wine! Definitely good guy!

I don't know this guy so good, but he really looks like positive onest and smart, he gave us the opportunity to spend an afternoon fo a wonderful BBQ in his house. Fulvio is a great guy. We had a really good time together in TelAviv. I showed him and his friends some of TelAviv night life. Fulvio is a lot of fun and my girlfriend says he's really cute. He promised me a makineta when I will come to Rome and I hope that I will get my makineta soon!

I love this man... He is one of the warmest people I have met, he cares about life, people and the world. I called him San Fulvio, that is a good way to see this guy. But he is also a crazy party animal! He made me laugh, he made me cry (dont worry, tears of joy) and he served me the best Tiramisu I ever had! Did I allready tell you that I love this man (and i love chocolate)

Fulvio let me and my friend Albert stay on his couch and he was SO amazingly kind and cool. He let us eat his pasta because we needed energy to run the Rome Marathon! He is the first person I couchsurfed with but I predict that he will be one of the best! Thanks again Fulvio!

Me and Fulvio met many times in CS Rome meeting, but we never introduce each other.. 'cause we're both too drunk... or we're busy (busy=chatting with nice girl ;).. but when finally we spoke, i discovered he's so damned fun ;) (and distubator ;)

Great nonsense talks at the "all in red" party'

After meeting through a mutrual friend, PietraK, he took us on a beautiful, short, freezing hike and then back to his home for a quick lesson in what regions the best Italian wines come from. He was great from the start and continues to be so, as his work in Africa grows develops momentum, I'm proud to call him a friend. Bravo!

My dear beloved host Fulvio Marelli! First I would like to say that with my background in the field of public international law, I can formally declare you the AMBASSADOR OF ROME based on our experience as guests in your place :) You can't imagine how happy and thankful we are for having had the opportunity to share this great weekend with you in Rome! Fulvio is the best personification of the whole couchsurfing idea and its principles, 'cause we've not only surfed his beautiful couch but we experienced a REAL italian trip - VACANZE ROMANE - with great and loud dinners, friends,laughs and jokes! :) Fulvio gave us from the very beginning such a positive feedback that now we are attached by his kindness, Yes, Fulvio has such a NOBLE heart, intelligent, caring, loves to eat and cooks like a chef, party guy, hes also as talkative as we are, and plus he's always available and willing to help - guys from Mali you know it better than me - :) and to cheer you up! Fulvio gave to me a ride to the meeting. We had a good time in the travel and in the dinner. He is very friendly and he represent the CS philosophy.

During my very rationally planned trip to Italy, and on my second visit to Rome, I finally managed to stay with Fulvio for a night. He had already been hosting my mysterious yellow box, which surprisingly was still unopened despite his curiosity for what was inside. We managed to find enough ingredients at the Italian supermarket to have makeshift Mexican burritos, on his magical coffee table that is not from IKEA. Our time together was very relaxed, and just what we both needed. He gave me a comfortable couch to rest my tired feet!! I hope to hear more about his ideas for an anarchic tour of Rome, his trip to Africa to visit the nuns who use Skype, and a way to balance CouchSurfing and life. If there is a way.

Wow, what can I say in words that will do justice? Fulvio was an amazing host, and I am so sorry I did not plan for more time in Rome. He took us out for my first real pizza at this wonderful little restaurant and we shared so many laughs and exchanged cultural gestures (American winks for Italian hand gestures). What an amazing night for him to take us out in Rome, as it was drizzling and the Trevi fountain was all ours! Fulvio was incredibly sweet and I wish we could have spent more time together. Fulvio, thank you for all the time you put into teaching me how to perfect my rrrrr's, it was a good bet, and breakfast was truly my treat!!! ;)

Fulvio hosted Øyvind and I for 3 nights and he showed to be the best host ever. He was great and we had lots of fun together. He is a party animal and he took us around all over Rome for nice parties !!! So much fun!!!!
But Fulvio also showed to be a great conversation partner and we had a really great talk in the early morning hours (4am) in his kitchen windowpost while listening to music and watching the stars. Good for cheering up, giving advices and really a great guy.

He hosted me and Marianne for 3 days in Rome. He is a great host that has always something to talk about, I really felt at home at his place.
It was a lot of partying. Both with other CS people and he even took me to his local pub.
Going to meet up later this winter to do some snowboarding :)
