About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I would like to photograph as many cities, towns and people as possible.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in DC,I went to college in Atlanta, went to Grad school in NY, moved back to DC, and a year and a half ago I moved back to NY. Now I would like to travel.

I am a photographer, musician, promoter and I run a couple of websites. I am interested in semiotics, social theory and the history of human dynamics. Look at some of my pictures and you will get a better idea of what I am into. http://chriscarrphoto.com

PHILOSOPHY
Be the lightning, be the frenzy...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I accept guests and I travel using it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Being a musician, I have slept on plenty of couches, floors, stairs...cars...all over the place. Ny, NJ, Fla, Atl, Ca, Tx, London, Sweden ...you get the point. Its a great way to meet new folks and get a local experience.

Interests

I am into non fiction books that are about politics, history, philosophy, esoteric knowledge or anything that makes me expand my frame of reference. I like making high energy progressive music...I dub it "Hyper Aggressive Emo rap" and I take a lot of pictures.
I like meeting new people and having discussions that may range from the absurd and rediculous to the most serious of issues.

I do not really watch TV, I listen to all kinds of music - from indie hip hop to dub step/electronica to classical...everything except death metal...but Hardcore is OK.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

List of amazing things that I have seen or done...
Inaugeration 2009 in DC
Cliff jumping in Jamaica
taking photos of some of my favorite musicians
