Enrico Is an amazing host and very interesting and knowledgable person with a great vibe, it was a pleasure to have met him and I hope I get to see him again :D

Enrico is a true CS'er! Has traveled the world himself and makes it his personal mission to make sure you have a good time in Italy/Trieste in whatever fashion you need! (Even if you show up jetlagged and confused!)

We stayed at Enrico with my friend during our trip to Italy and Croatia. We had a really great time drinking wine, eating and talking and Enrico was most friendly and very nice to show us around the city! Thanks again and hope you enjoy the salmiakki! :)

We met for a drink at Giovanni's. We had not chance of talking so much, but I'm sure we will meet again soon!

Thanks to Enrico for replying to my group post and organising a last minute CS meeting, the first Trieste meeting for 2009. I had a great evening drinking wine out in the cold, though I got warmed up after the grappa ;) Thanks Enrico, for teaching me how to drink grappa the Italian way! Enrico is hospitable, smart and full of useful advice. Hope he makes it to South Africa sometime soon.

We changed messages in 2007 but we didn’t manage to meet in my trip to Trieste. It took more than one year but we finally met, here in Lisbon. Enrico surprised me joining us in a fado dinner during his business trip. With a big smile and an extremely nice conversation it was a pleasure to meet him. Worth waiting for! ;)

it was really nice to spent long evenings with Enrico eating delicious food and drinking something we never drink before. it was good .thanks a lot!. he took us to really nice places, we ate really good vegetarian food, he introduced us to his friends.he is very generous and kind. he can tell you a lot of interesting stories. you can listen and listen.thanks for showing us the castel also.

He also found host for us in Milano even she is not in CS.thanks a lot.Maria Vittoria such a nice host and lovely woman!we enjoyed staing with her!

We spent so nice time together, we were talking many hours - he has a lot of amaizing stories. Big heart I like a lot his company.

Kind. He has a lot of very interesting things to say. I would suggest anybody to listen at him carefully.

Enrico is generous, patient, kind, curious; he's got an oustanding culture, a subtle sense of humor and the manners of a real gentleman. He has a vespa called Gigetta and he's the proud owner of a baby dinosaurier. He's just someone you've GOT TO meet...

EXTREMILY POSITIVE.. Enrico is quite a dangerous host meaning that if you go at his place you would probably be addicted to Trieste and amused by Enrico's life ..i would love to travel a third of what he did ...i just came home from his couch and i find hard to express my gratitue.. let's just say that i am praying that i can move to Trieste to do a lot of Barcolana's :)

Enrico was a fabulous host, he greeted me with ten friends, and we went out drinking immediately. Then , when he got called out of town, he let me stay anyways

 

Enrico is a polite and good ambassador, we met in several meetings and every time we spoke a lot of all and CS's project.
He explained me CS's rules and what's his role. Funny, smiling, open mind and clever man, he personify the real couchsurfer! See you at next meeting!

We stayed with Enrico for two nights in Trieste and from the moment he collected us from the train station we were overwhelmed by his generousity and kindness. He also showed us the best Grappa in Trieste!!

Enrico is one of the most humble and interesting people I have ever met. I was so touched by his warmth and hospitality. He is a fountain of knowledge and really made my time in Italy special. Here are some of the services offered by Sir Enrico to travelers: free vespa pick up from hotel at any time,free home spaghetti delivery at 11pm, free use of medialab office facilities including internet and fax, free seafood meals, free caffé shakerato+aperitivo, and a lot more... Plus, he won't let you walk into any cafe or ice cream shop, he will take you to the best ones - and he knows what he's talking about! On top of everything, Enrico is a fabulouse guide of Trieste, his company is delightful and his advice can save your bank account from disaster. I give him 10/10 and a hug! Thanks!!

I should just point out that Enrico responded to me twice when I wrote to him last-minute both times asking for a couch. Neither time did I end up staying with him, but I appreciated his readiness and openness to help me out. We did meet and he was very hospitable to show me his town and share conversation and joy. He also volunteered to drive me to the airport, which was very kind of him and going out of his way. Thank you for everything, and one of these days I really will surf your couch.

Enrico is a fabulous host: He brought me to a farm house to drink bitter regional wine and let me stay at his house even though he had to leave town for a business trip: He is soft spoken, liberal, and kind.

I was so lucky to be hosted by Enrico. he showed me probably the nicest places in Trieste and I happened to meet some of his friends. well, I had such a great time there, interesting talks, nice experience. thanks, Enrico, again.

Lovable, sociable, and very generous. Enrico is the firm support of our local group, and in some ways he has all of us under the influence… "Someone mutters, And the streetlamp gutters, And soon it will be morning"...

Enrico is cool, generous, a great organizer. Hang out with him and you'll have a great time!

Although we had little time to talk, both busy with guests, wine, eggs and ham, Enrico was a precious partecipant: he managed to reserve a couple of tables in a wonderful, sunny place where we spent a lovely day!

Really funny and smart guy! He travels a lot and knows many languages, if you have the chance to meet him... don't hesitate!

A very sensitive and intelligent man, on the way to be enlightened!

I stayed at Enrico's apartment for a few nights. He was a hugely hospitable and generous host, even to the point of letting my friend and I stay when he went away for a few days. We had a nice dinner and a long chat then he showed me around the city until the wee hours showing me the sights. It was my first time couch-surfing and Enrico was a great first host.

 

Couchsurfing with Enrico was nothing short of amazing. He hosted us for a night in Trieste, and really took his time to show us around the city. Enrico is a great guy to be with, and is extremely generous. Thank you Enrico for some unforgettable experiences, and please let me know if you come to California.

 

Enrico took in Mark and I on very late notice, but everything worked out. We took a train to Trieste where he picked us up in his car and basically showed us a grand time in his town. Enrico is a very generous man and I am glad that I was able to spend my birthday in his presence. He is very well-traveled and willing to help whenever he can. I highly recommend anyone passing even close to Trieste to visit him and the town because it is amazing. :-)

 

Me & Rachel Fiori met up with Enrico on his last night in Cali for dinner, hot chocolate & muscato. I enjoyed his company and hope that he will visit again - but next time for more than 2 days so that we can really show him around and have fun!!! I'm looking forward to trying his time-intensive recipe for Limoncello! Ce vediamo Enrico!!!

Enrico was a fabulous host who had plenty of interesting and historical information about the city (and in general!), and was extremely generous and helpful.

Enrico is a great guy! He already had friends staying at his apartement, but he found us another place to stay, which was great. He took very good care of us and took us to dinner with some friends of his. The following day he also took us to a CS meeting, where we had a good time. This italian is a great host!

 

Who cant love an italian? It was a wonferful evening of good food, even better hot chocolate, followed by home-made lemoncello and exellent sparkeling wine in Palo Alto....I cant wait to make my tutticello:) i will send him come:) come to SF anytime, and for sure, we will meet one fine day in italy:) ciao:)

it was just cool to stay with him in trieste. he took us drinking trieste wine (which is really good, but according to enrico not really...), seeing other couchsurfers and watching the mondfinsternis (thats when the earth is betwenn the moon and the sun). he gave us just the perfect start for our journey. thank you and see you for sure once again

We met at an aperitive held in order to organize the CS meeting in Trieste. After the aperitive we spent a very lovely and funny night in company of other couchsurfers..Enrico is a really interesting guy!

Enrico is such a cool guy! Great traveler, laid-down, easy-going and extremely smart. He's a rare example of "Italian Gentleman". A presto Henry...il 'round midnight ci aspetta!

(Why is there no Extremely Extremely Positive rating???) Enrico was such a gem to meet! He was really the highlight of our unforgettable stay in Trieste :) Conversations with him are always very insightful and we enjoyed learning about Turin, Venezia, Trieste and Italian culture from him, esp the food culture haha! Grappa, Terrano, Branzino, Seppia Nere, Polente....mmm! Not only is he really well-travelled, he shares good recommendations on the places he's been to and lived in. His gentle, giving ways makes me want to be a better host to all my future CSers and a better person in general. Definitely keep in touch, Enrico and let me know when you're next in London/Oxford/Singapore! :)

Couldn't believe there are such people in the world! Enrico makes you think hard, and then laugh, and then think again. So awed by his thoughtfulness and his spirit of generosity. And so glad he was my first host - he was one of the big reasons I joined CS and I hope he hasn't spoilt the market!

Really nice man... took me to coffee... spent time talking to me, gave me some orientation points coz he was in a hurry... enjoyed talking to him...

Enrico hosted us althought he was moving to an other flat and he was very busy at work. He spent time talking with us about his town, his country and his travelling experiences. We shared ideas and good moments; thanks very much Enrico!! (don't believe his profile: he speaks english very well! ;)
