we live in chapinero, bogotá. we got two bedrooms, so if you came, you would have your own bedroom (single bed). we both work very much, so we might not be able to show you around all the time - but we love to cook and eat together. we both need to get up mo-fr every day at 4.30, so we really don't go out during the week. but on weekends, we are more than happy to do something with you.
we both smoke, but only outside on the balcony.
we just moved to bogotá, so we are also new to this area, but we are happy to explore it with you. we know how to get around, where good supermarkets are etc.
like i said, weekends would be the best to host, but you are more than welcome to come during the week, if you can entertain yourself :P
we got blankets, no towels, though.
up to a week is perfect for us :)

Personal Description

we are a couple who enjoys traveling and getting to know people above all. we are both students (EVA studies spanish, english and educational sciences, TEJA studies environmental sciences) , plus we work at a bar/restaurant/nightclub as well. we are really easy going and eager to learn/experience/get to know everything which sounds fun :)

How I Participate in CS

we offer our a couch, and hopefully get a couch offered when we need one :) couchsurfing is simply great to get to know locals and to experience new cultures/traditions and languages.

CouchSurfing Experience

only amazingly good ones. no complaints or regrets at all. rather missing people too much after leaving! :)

Interests

we enjoy any kind of sports, such as hiking, snowboarding, mountain biking, dancing, horse riding, surfing, running etc.
we love building, painting and restructuring things, such as furniture, our flat or our car.
we enjoy music, literature, movies, going out and hanging out with friends

Philosophy

it would take us ages to list that all here... but in a nutshell: more into the rock/punk/indie/alternative direction in kinds of music. concerning movies pretty much everything..., we got to admit that we are series junkies...
books: everything, varying from cooking recipes and car instruction books to novels, thrillers and historical books...

Teach, Learn, Share

we can teach german (if anybody needed to learn that language? :)) and english, we can teach you to cook some yummy, but only vegetarian dishes, plus if you are into snowboarding or about to learn it we could probably help you with that :)
we need to learn spanish (especially Eva) :) besides that we are interested in anything, such as sports, languages or any other skills which might be useful ;)

One Amazing Thing I've Seen or Done

vietnam! getting lost in vegas at the age of 13! studying abroad in spain/new zealand/ south africa and colombia... buying a boat to sail around the world... buying a bakkie to travel the world... highest bungee jump in the world... a lot of more amazing things to come! :)

Eva and Teja stayed with us for 2 weeks and helped out with the ongoing renovations. They would do any kind of job, from making beds to painting walls to laying a cement floor! They were fun to have around, easy going, outspoken, and we sure shared a good laugh. after arrived at the airport they came straight to my place and stayed, they knew my family first and i met them at night in the downtown. i'm very glad to know them because they are so kind and we had a nice time talking even when i cannot stay so long because i have to work
