Oliver and Polyana are the ideal host couple :)
They not only hosted and fed us, but they took time to show us around, we spend a wonderful day on the Bodensee, visited Germany's tallest waterfall in Triberg, and also Europe's biggest waterfall, Rheinfall.
They also introduced us to their friends, Karo and Dirk, who took Mark on a mountain biking trip and then joined us along the Danube for the weekend.
We really enjoyed our time in Villingen and we hope to see them again soon, maybe in Brasil?

Wonderful, open, hearty, interested, uncomplicated- you feel his travelling experience and how much he/they love to get in touch with people.

Oliver and Polyana are a lovely couple in whose home I could really feel like home for a few days...Despite being busy with work Oliver had time to share some great stories about motorcycles, Brazil, traveling around (half of ) the world, recommend what to see around and even show a wonderful local restaurant in the middle of black forest... Thanks for everything!

When we met Oliver and Polyana it felt like we were old friends that had tons of things to catch up on. They treated us like part of the family and made it very hard for us to leave. Every day was full of fun and adventure, canoeing on the Bodensee, visiting the Rheinfall in Switzerland, or getting rained on in Triberg.
They are fantastic hosts and have really interesting stories to share. It was a truly amazing combination of four languages and cultures, so very different and so much alike at the same time.

I hope he will come again, this time with his brazilian wife and try all extreme sports that Omiš can offer! Very polite and kind guest, with fantastic stories to tell.

When I red Oliver's profile and saw what kind of people he prefer I like him imidiatly.I host him for 3 days and he is such a good guest,guest everyone would wish;gentle,aware and kind.You can see most of it in little things.To bad I can only put positive,otherwise it would be extremly positive.Stay well,Oliver. :-D

Oliver is a person I would like to be as far as traveling is concerned. He's such an adventurer with so many interesting stories to tell. Very warm and gentle person. It was a real pleasure having you as a guest and you're welcome at any time at our house!

 

I hosted Oliver and a friend of his when they came to Munich for a travel fair. We only spent the evening together (at the local CS gathering), so I hope I can hear more of his travel stories whenever we meet again: the little bits I heard so far made me hungry for more.

Oliver is a person who is open for fun. We have met in Fortaleza and we went out, drank beer, talked, listened to hard rock... it was always fun!

Oliver is a great person, I must thank him forever for the trust and friendliness but above all for the talks we had, he had helped me make up my mind on my round the world trip with his stories and positiveness!!! and of course I have to say it, he does great sushi!!!

I really like to spent my time with him and meet him nearly every day.

Ente is such a nice and kind guy. He travelled a lot and has some amazing stories to tell. He and his girlfriend are trustworthy people and quite open minded.

Polyana and Oli have been once again wonderful guests : I and my children can not express enough our gratitude. He and Polyana hosted us warmly although his Pocahontas`sister in law-alike was also visiting them; the three were really nice to us and we already are starting to love Fortaleza (Brasil)!

Had some nice chats when organising the CS stay although in the end I wasn't host him and his girlfriend as I live in such a small village and not in Freiburg where we finally met on the CS meeting.

He is an very nice person.

I hosted Oliver twice when he came here for Freiburg CS Meetings. He has a lot of travel experience and a lot to tell. I'm looking forward to meeting him again.

 

Oliver is the first person I hosted that I had met through CS, and it was an entirely positive experience. He had many stories to tell from his previous travels, and we had a great time at the CS meeting on the Neckar river.

We met at the Berlin Beach Camp 2008. Looking forward to next meet!

Ente is a great couchsurfer. He have a lot great storys and advices for me to get a good couchsurfer too. I like him and hope to stay in touch. We want meet us again.

 

We met at the Berlin Beach Camp where he attend some of the CS Ambassadors workshops. It was nice to met in person and i think we will see for sure in the future again! Hope then to have a bit more time to exchange each other.

 

Oliver/Ente was the first person I had longer conversation with at the Berlin Beach Camp 2008. Too bad I had to go early at the evening and he had to leave for work the next day. I liked his laid back and disarming attitude and I cordially envy him for his travelling experiences and lifestyle.

 

olli is really good guy with many travel experience, i met him in 2006 on my travels through colombia and we had a lot of fun. he hosted me for 17 days and I hosted him as well for 15 days, I never had problems with him and you can highly trust him, he loves to travel and can tell you many storys about his travel lifes.... see you seen.

My experience with Ente was really great. He hosted Claudia and I and he was the most wonderful host. He is so polite, he always smiles and laughs. He is a very outgoing positive person. We had a lot of fun staying with him. He also helped us very much with directions and ideas about doing things in the city and outside the city. We couldn't have had a better host. I really hope to see him again soon.

Finally, after almost one year from the first email he sent me ( asking for a couch during his first visit to Fortaleza) we could met. Now as he will be here for while, İ can have the opportunity to listen his travel histories about " a trip around the world in a motorcycle!" He is a gentle and smile guy. This guy if what the CS is all about, really free minded, easygoing, good guy. You feel you can trust him from the very start. I was happy to host him, after his original plan didn’t came true, I was really prepare to host him, but I believe he enjoy his stay just the same. I wish I could do a trip around the world as he is doing, if you can help him, please do, and become part of his “epic” adventures ;)

 

While I was bored as a rock in my parents place, sick, he came and visited me, and it was a pleasure to have met a mate doing such an amazing journey as Oliver is doing... Calm, nice and always smiling guy! Suerte Oliver!

this guy rocks! He's been travelling the world by his motorcycle for almost 3 years. An amazing thing everyone of us would love to do.. He stayed for 3 nights and was an excellent guest! I would host him again as many times as he wants.. Enjoy the road!

A super friendly guy who is traveling the world in his bike. He came to stay overnight so I really didn´t have much time to show him around however I introduced him to some friends of mine that belong to the local BMW motorcycle Club and they were more than happy to help him with tips and contacts all over Venezuela. After meeting him nobody wanted him to leave so soon. Oliver I hope it won´t take eighteen years to go back to Germany, jajajaja Happy trails

I had a great time visiting with Ente. Before we met I hadn't planned on staying in Guatape, Colombia; six days later I was trying to tear myself away from this beautiful place. He showed me around, we drank some beer and cooked a few good meals. I hope our paths will cross again.

 

He has a nice place and he made me feel really welcome there the whole time. We shared lots of stories about our experiences and thoughts on the world and conquered a waterfall!

Oliver is great! He`s a fantastic host and a really nice guy with a lot of travel stories to tell. Spent a few great days with him in Guatapé which is definately worth a visit, I`m going back to see him again soon.
