Couch Information

No couch currently available for surfing.

I stay in a very nice lodge of a Korean/Nepali family on the opposite site of the freedom cafe at the north side of the lake so I don't have my own place here, but you are very welcome to stay here as well and enjoy the great view from the rooftop and play some music with me and the others.
There are two guitars here.
Rooms are cheap, ranging from 200 Rs to 450, sometimes all is full

Personal Description

Good bye Berlin and hello brave new world!
I am at the moment touring the world to Australia without taking planes.
My route will lead me over Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal, China, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia and finally Australia.

I play guitar and piano.
I am good in something called Ruby on Rails.
This is my Blog
And this is my taste of music: last.fm
I founded Hitchlog.com

_:_Meditation_:_

I practice vipasana meditation.
Be Happy :)

_:_musician_:_

I am playing guitar since I was 15 and since 2006 I started to teach myself piano. I love music and I cannot live without it. and if my arms are gone and if my legs are cut and if my ears are deaf and if my sight is blind, there will still be music in my head.

Interests

art, men and women and animals, wierdos, hitchhiking, reading Charles Bukowski, sitting on grass, drinking wine, chewing picks, authenticity, feeling real, honesty, geeks, mathematics, the neo-human, internet, time scaling evolution, crescendos, passion, time lapses, flipping coins and rolling dices and then:

move yourself like you were never told to...

Philosophy

let down
the decisive moment in a career is always there, as career is meaningless, it is all about the play, so "play", do everything besides and let the world take a look at you... look away from yourself and Lead yourself into seduction.

The world is a book and those who don't travel only read one page

Hitchhiking:
The idea is to remain in a constant state of departure while always arriving. It saves on introductions and good-byes.
hitchhiking animates people to discard their prejudices on others and therefor has to be encouraged.

I always keep an open ear for new music.

Types of People I enjoy

people who are enjoyable

Teach, Learn, Share

It would be nice if I could teach you:
- guitar, piano (if you want to learn guitar i can teach you the basics and give you some lessons)
- develop a website using ruby on rails (which is more exciting than it sounds, you can also get the short tour why)
- hitchhiking (I can give you tips and tell you of former trips which i am going to do anyway, or you can also join me on a hitchhiking trip)
- solving the rubik's cube in less than 4 minutes
- solving the rubik's revenge in less than 10 minutes
- german, spanish, english (I don't have any book to teach you, but maybe I can get one, would be great if you had one though)
- How to swim (it's my favorite sport which keeps me up and sportive)
- Lots of geeky stuff (if you're a geek and I'm a geek, we're already a match, i bet all the geeks can learn from each other by showing off what they can do on the computer)

It would be nice if you could teach me:
- photography
- how to cope with the unknown on a daily basis (if you have tips they are highly welcome)
- to play more music instruments (seriously, please teach me the basics, Im a quick learner ;)
- Sailing (even though I already know how to sail, it would be great to archive a bigger proficiency)
- how to prepare raw food properly (ranging from raw meet to raw chocolate, to anything that is really healthy.)
- cooking (teach me how to cook your favourite meal or something that is good and very cheap)
- languages (would be great if you can teach me with a book, the basic grammar for example)
- how to live cheap (teach me how dumpster diving works at your place, how to avoid spending money on unnecessary things)

One Amazing Thing I've Seen or Done

- a grasshopper that exploded in the midst of a daydream i once head
- Once I wanted to hitchhike to Edinburgh and instead of drinking beer in a pub I ended up dancing around a fire for 6 hours without drinking nor eating during an ancient native american ceremony.

What do these numbers mean?

This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.

In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.

When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you.

Flov is laid-back, cheerful, and a hardcore hitchhiker. He's a music aficionado and a total geek as well. Within 5 minutes of landing at my place, we were discussing coding on his computer. He had just one day in Hyderabad, so we couldn't get to spend a lot of time talking, but I sure hope that we can hitchhike together somewhere some day! Good luck with your plans mate!

Florian is fanatic for hitchhiking so he is the best person to talk to you about it. Lots of stories and recorded moments to make you laugh and learn about some cultural and characteristics subjects about people everywhere. He is funny and oncerned about what is going on in the world so you can discuss with him about almost everything going on ...

We were surfing couches belonging to the same host in Yazd. He was calm, respectful, did some art on the walls (upon request only) and was interesting to talk to.
