I will NOT reply anymore to people who send me just messages (ever noticed the "couchsurf with" function?), especially if you don't even care about mentioning my name (btw. it is not Froschkoenigin and also NOT "you") or anything else related to my profile! :)
- I live quite close to the city center, 10mins by bus or bike (I have a spare bike for guests!:-))
- I am sharing a flat with two others (1 boy, one girl), both are ok with CSers if it's not too often, since we share a rather smallish kitchen & bathroom
- I have a nice double-bed couch that you can sleep on; please bring a sleepingbag if possible!
- no pets, non-smoking flat but we have a balcony beside the flat where you can smoke if you must
- public transport right in front of my house, tube 2 stations by bus away (best will be a 24 or 48hr or weekticket - vienna has very good publ transp!)
- i might be able to show you around but i prefer people being independent during the day! I go to uni, work & do sports a lot so I'm often quite busy but I will be happy to have dinner & breakfast together, share a bottle of wine + travel stories, go out etc! :-) I have maps & guides about the town
- go to bed around midnight mostly, get up between 7 and 12, depending on uni
- weekends are sometimes better if I am in Vienna & my flatmate isn't but generally I sometimes go to Graz on weekends or work, so weekdays might be better sometimes - just ask!
- 2-3 nights max, exceptions possible if we get along well enough :-)
I like to cook but I would also love to learn your recipes or cook dinner together! I believe that it's best for you to explore the city by yourself, I can give tips and suggestions but I think it's better to just go wherever your feet carry you - and that's easier without a guide! :) but apart from that you are welcome to join me for any kind of things I'm up to - rock climbing, jogging, slacklining, cs meetings, whatever you want to try in vienna & you are definitely welcome to have wine, coffee, etc with me or go out with my friends and me! I'm just not the city tour kind of person.

!!Please, before sending me a request note that I don't host men at the moment as I don't feel very comfortable sharing a room with a guy I just met! Thank you! :)!!
I am... I am generally a happy person, I would say. And I am a busy person because doing things makes me happy. I try to do as much as possible besides university (I study Environmental management there - I also try to live sustainably); I play the violin, I do sports, I learn languages. I love to go hiking on weekends, especially more "advanced" hikes where you have to do easy climbing. I love playing boardgames with a bunch of friends and sharing a bottle of wine. I like playing frisbee too and I love snowboarding and icescating and of course travelling. And I love my family that lives in Graz.
My next plans are to finish university (bachelor's degree) in summer 2012 and then go on Erasmus exchange to turkey.
I am the most impatient person I have ever met in my life. ;)
I am sometimes not as openminded as I wish I was but I'm trying to work on that.

Philosophy
Be happy - and share your happiness with others.
I believe that people are naturally good.
I know that I am just lucky to live here and now and the way I do, having enough money to live on. I didn't earn it or deserve it, it is just luck.

And teach me things on the violin!! I wish I was better so any input from your side would be great!
One Amazing Thing I've Seen or Done
Standing on the top of a mountain.
To me this is the most amazing thing ever, every time again a moment of complete happiness, surrounded by other mountains, just rocks and grass and forest far below. And it's even better in winter.
This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you.
We discussed for a while, if we should take couchsurfers although we don't have time for them and decided to host Heidi and her friend. And we didn't regret it! It was just great to have these two funny, open minded and interesting girls at our place. We had long conversations, bavarian beer, and austrian red wine. Heidi and her friend also prepared a very tasty meal for us, including dessert. We learned at least something about "umpalumpa" (do I remember correct) and that we really have to change our profile pictures ;-)
Hope to see you again some day - maybe in Vienna...
Hosted her for a few days. Unfortunately I had been very busy, so I couldn´t spend a lot of time with her and her friend. But during the time they spent at home, we had some good conversation. Thanks so much for the olives, they are really the best! See you.
[F]latmate I was like, free as a bird
[R]eiterate were her offers (SHE contacted me)
[0]€ she made me pay for my whole time
[S]urfers I could have myself while being hosted by her
[C]ontacted I could be thanks to the phone she lent me for 4 months, meaning before I stayed at her place too, & after when I toured German-speaking countries
[H]elpful sounds like a litotes
[K]im & Emily I could ride... but Kim was too straight to like it (fortunately it is survived by Nills)
[O]vergenerous
[E]xtending stay, from 2 weeks to 34 days in the end, my second longest CS surfing time ever (& 1st with the possibility of hosting)
[N]ew-fashioned
[I]ndependent
[G]ames she's fond of, especially the board ones
[I]n debt I am definitely to her
[N]ever had I had somebody giving me a list of all the advantages I would have by choosing her as a host

Heidi was kind enough to offer up her extremely confortable couch to my friend and I when we were in need in Vienna! She was a great host and even gave us breakfast! She's also a fantastically interesting person to converse with! Hope to see you in Kiwiland one day, so I can return the hospitality!!

It was great meeting a group of people and having something to do that didn't include drinking heavily at overpriced bars with people I don't like. She was very nice and chatty. Thanks for organizing the activities!
