Couch Information

We live in Shefford. It's a township close Bromont and Granby.

Our "couch" is a guest room in the basement so you will have your own bed.

We have a cat call Luna. We don't smoke and you will need to go outside if you want to smoke.

There's no public transport to get here so you need a car or at least a bike (the Route Verte pass at 3km) to come to our house. Eventually if you come from Montreal and you don't have a car, and if we are available, we can pick you at the bus station "Autoparc 74 Granby/Bromont" (see bus information on this website Transdev Limocar.

Around Shefford you can do many activity : skiing at Bromont, visiting the Granby Zoo, having a ride on the wine route, going to the Yamaska National Park, taking a bike ride on l'Estriade (a part of the Route Verte), playing golf (many courses around), ...
If we are available it will be a pleasure to show you some stuff around.

Main activity at home : watching the fire, playing pool, taking a jacuzzi, relaxing, ...

The best time is during the weekend but we can also host you on weekday. The only thing it's during the weekday, we will be less available to show you around. We like to host at maximum for 2-3 days generally.

Nous habitons à Shefford. C'est un canton situé près de Bromont et Granby.

Notre "couch", c'est une chambre d'ami situé au sous-sol équipé d'un lit double.

Nous avons une chatte qui s'appelle Luna. Nous ne fumons pas et si vous souhaitez fumer il faudra aller à l'extérieur.

Il n'y a pas de transport en public pour vous rendre à la maison. Ca prend une voiture ou au minimum un vélo (la Route Verte "l'Estriade" passe à 3km). Eventuellement si vous venez de Montréal, que vous n'avez pas de voiture et que nous sommes disponible, nous pouvons aller vous chercher à la station de bus "Autoparc 74 Granby/Bromont" (voir les info à propos des bus sur le site de Transdev Limocar).

Les principales activités autour de Shefford : ski alpin à Bromont, visiter le Zoo de Granby Zoo de Granby, faire un tour sur la route des vins, aller au Parc National de la Yamaska, faire un tour de vélo surl'Estriade qui fait partie de la Route Verte), jouer au golf (il y a plusieurs club autour), ...
Si nous sommes disponible, ça va nous faire plaisir de vous montrer des choses autour.

Les principales activités à la maison : regarder le feu (à l'extérieur ou à l'intérieur selon la saison), jouer au billard, prendre un jacuzzi, relaxer, se faire un bon repas, regarder un film, ...

Le meilleur moment pour nous visiter est durant le weekend mais c'est aussi possible en semaine. Par contre, en semaine, nous risquons d'être moins disponible pour vous montrer autour.
Généralement, nous hébergeons pour un maximum de 3 jours.

was nice to meet Fred, after knowing him through the CS website... instead of offer him a couch, i offered him a ride to someone else couch... he's an excellent navigator and Fred, when you want we engage on rally championship ;)

I met Frederic maybye 2 ou 3 years ago with Superyami in Paris. He was the guy from Canada with blue hairs sometimes! Very nice person, i remember we had a funny time in a restaurant(Pizza Hut)with others and serials of laughs because of his jokes(and my show too!).

Fred is simply an institution for CS Paris. It just takes part of the CS Paris furnitures. Just kidding. We know each other from a long time but i discover how great this guy was when I get Ambassador cause then I realize how great was the job he was doing so take care my friend see you soon.

I think the main reason Fred choose to host myself and my sister was because the Rocky Horror Picture Show's star and I share the same first name.

It could also have been my love of all things french, or my dashing good .. taste for vin.

regardless, he hosted the two of us and it was a great and wonderful time. We didn't get much time, as my sister and I only had two days left in our Paris adventure, but the time we had was wonderful. We had flower shaped ice cream and futon shaped cheese on bread.
