Frederieke Kolkman

 

Frederieke and her gang were my first Couchsurfing guests of the year and I was honoured to have them stay with me.
She's really intrested in a city and its culture and I would love to meet up again in Rotterdam or wherever we may meet next time!

 

Very nice to travel with. Friendly girl and a good conversationalist.
Just ahd to wake her up once during the ride to Paris :D

I'm sure we'll see more of each other.

Its really hard not to have better to add that just extremely positive to what that experience was for me and my fellow couch invaders ! a superb great hostess have been doing all the work she could to have her house ready for us and even though she was pretty sick, i had just an amazing time would it be killing some "kip" over a breakfast,walking way back to her place in the rain or frederieke just being absolutely kind till the end to "tramway" us back to centraal....
Was so happy to be able to give back a little bit by hosting you over new years eve .

I met Frederieke at New Year's Eve Party 2008 in Paris.She is very friendly and I got to use my rusty dutch with her.Hope to meet her again at some other CS gathering.

 

I can hardly thank Frederieke enough for all the hospitality and generosity she displayed, hosting a full contingent of French invaders at her new place. She's a very caring person, energetic, intelligent and joyful ! She's also an early bird and I enjoyed a lot having some time to talk with her when everyone else was asleep :)

 

Frederieke hosted us for Sinterklaas meeting. She's a very friendly woman. We managed to talk in spite of my bad English accent lol! Just one warning... she seems to like strange things (she's got a stuffed cat...). She began to teach me a little bit Dutch and I'm in a hurry to see her again to keep on learning (she's a good teacher!). doei doei!

 

Frederieke hosted me and a bunch of other french people for Sinterklaas edition 2007.
Even though the timing wasn't the best for her (she had just moved in & was a bit sick), she took great care of us all, welcoming us warmly and even letting me sleep in her awsome bed !
Freetje is a wonderful person, open-minded, kind & fun and i can only recommend you to meet her if you're heading to the Netherlands !

Frederieke is a hell of a great person. She hosted a lot of people for the CS Sinterklaas meeting. I am happy and priviledged to have been one of them !
Her new apartment is great and I must say her bed... ahhhhh her bed... (which I shared with Hélène) is very comfy. The covers are from real goose feathers -> very warm.
I must add that she has a... DRYER ! YES! you can dry all those soggy, dutch rained out clothes. Her place is warm both humanly wise and temperature wise.
What a classy personality ; generous and easy gooing.
She had the patience to take me to a great cheese shop and on the way I happened to found out that she is a big art fan. Something to delve in more next time we meet...
One her best qualities is that she is an enjoyer of FOOOOD ! She also has an incredible talent for cutting things into really tiny pieces. She is the best cutter i have seen.
I really enjoyed her conversation also. Till we meet again, enjoy your Camembert (the second!) ! I must say that, thanks to her, I met a lot of great people and I just got a bit carried away with all the alcohol I drank. Bises Freetje!

 

Fre is my best friend. She recently moved and now she lives 5 blocks away from me instead of 2! I dragged her into this CS buisiness because i wanted to travel with her. But during the CSinterklaasmeeting dec. 2007 she has proven herself to be the best host 2007! she is also an amazing cook, a good laugh, a smart, crazy and sweet girl and quite imortantly: a big eater like me! Just meet her (you'll be stunned!)

 

Freetje hosted a group of couchsurfers in her 2-days-old new apartment ànd even gave her own bed away. If that is not hospitality... She is a busy bee and knows how to get people moving. Like that :).

 

Fred was so kind to let 8 french CS sleeping on her brand new place and we promised to speak as little french as possible As usually during Invasion I slept under the table :)thanks for everything

If i knew my coffee made you feel in heaven i would have brought tons ;)
I really like Frederieke, she's a bit like me, not that expansive but true. Next time we'll do yoga... or skateboarding as you want :) You're welcome anytime anywhere.

 

Frederieke is such a nice and humorous person. She is relaxed and easy to talk to. We had such fun on the couch while we watched at the Sint and Piet metamorphose at Paul's place;)

It was a pleasure to meet Frederike and guide her and Nanook in Lyon! She is a big fan of fotos and you should really see how she doing them!
Hope to meet you more in the future! ;)

 

If one day Frederieke is coming to your place, you can be sure that she will takes really nice pictures of your town. Fortunately she was there to share the wine (because Nanouk doesn’t drinks!). Be sure that I’ll ask for your couch during my next travel to Rotterdam
