Gardner is a very adventurious guy and he really has a passion for travelling .It was really a blast hanging out with him on his last day in manila.Dude,when do you plan to come back?if your coming here again in manila, just holler!

He knows exactly what you want and will give it to you. That taught me I have nothing at all, but myself.
I am glad to have known of the existence of your soul in this world.

Gardner is my idol. He lives life by the seat of his pants and does those things most only talk about after a few cocktails. His wit left me giggling histerically on more than one occassion and I feel very fortunate to have worked with him for several months in beautiful Buenos Aires.

Big "G" is the man!
He is a legand and we loved spending time with him, he's generosity knows no limits.
He make's the best Brown Rice we've ever had,now will never have white rice again. Now thats saying something!

G breaks into houses to make breakfast and cooks chicken soups for house full of weeping noses when not motorcycling around the Islands or causing trouble. Comrade in code and total kick-ass collective madness at times. Wish you the best of for the future of wandering & discovery!

 

TRUST ME! {hooks in the eyes} Gardner effing rules! You can't live with this guy in a CS house for 6 months and not love him. Glorious misadventures in the South Island and my hosting partner-in-crime. Can't imagine doing any of it without him!

Gardner and Hannah are awesome great hosters! Very openmind and friendly. They picked up me from the bus station and offered me a lovely spared room. Gardner's cooking is very great, I love the ckicken soup! Hanah is very sweet girl, I like her very much. Hope Hannah enjoy her new job and both of them have a great life everyday.

Few people are capable of both abstract thought and hilarity.

Having known G for a fair few months now I consider myself lucky to have him, hannah, and well, all the wee nelson family as friends.
G will always make me laugh, is a thoughtful host, a super generous human being and grand fella altogether.
I always look forward to the next visit!

 

Gardner is a great guy and very friendly. He will make you comfortable at his place. Sorry that we were too tired to party my friend, next time i promise we will catch up again, ho, and thx for the pair of socks!

Gardener and his house mates are the coolest people in the world to hang out with. The wizard outfit they chose for a wicked costume party was hilarious, spoke tons of geek talk and exchanged random media, it was an altogether awesome time. Miss you guys already.

Gardner was like a rock. Stoned. No seriously I love this guy. Really trustworthy and generous.

I got the chance to get to know Gardner while living with him at the collective and later at a much smaller house we liked to call the "Crack House" and he is fun guy to hang with. He's always got booze and always got Simpsons. What more could you ask for?

 

Gardner is the only friend I have who has broken into the house while i'm sleeping so that he can cook us breakfast.

don't be fooled by his hospitable demeanor, his knowledgable banter, or his affable smile - this man is a deviant and danger to society...but a damn fine host..

A really cool guy, I mean really!

I just wish all the americans would be like him... and the world will Rock (dressed in black).
He is a kind of wild teddy bear.
Am sure he gets touch by something extra...but not the kiond of thinsg Disney would have thought.
he is extrem in all his taste from music to the way he feed himself, from his way of living (I am still trying to figure this out) to his generosity.
nah, you just have to met him it worth it, he is out of any frame. A place to stop if you are close from his cave :D

 

There are not enough words in the entire world to describe Gardner he's a really cool Dude :D

i had great fun surfing the fire place at gardeners he is a great laugh always up for the the craic and makes a mighty fine bloody mary!! cheers my lovely see you soon!!!!

 

I adore GARDNER! he not only saved my computer when it seemed the way to go was to toast it in the microwave, but he gave some really cool music, and brought Hannah over and had some awesome conversations and a...generally fantastic time...He is one of those people who are a pleasure to be around, work with ...no drama, just 100% genuine and fun and easy going all the time..oh and yes i loved the bike ride..he's one of a kind and what more can i say, HE ROCKS!!!

 

Among many more mundane talents (like making computer do things they naturally refuse to do, like behave nicely), he's a got a unique way to tell the funniest stories ever and to lose his clothes when he does... well, pretty much everything.

If you meet Gardner, be warned, at the collective, he ate the tomatoes. Keep the tomatoes under wraps! He's a top dude, showed me the light in the form of Zend, inspirational! He's welcome on my couch any time.

Gardner is a man with many talents. Usually cooking, cleaning and making people laugh (conventionally or non-conventionally). Either way, it always a good time with Gardner around.

 

Gardner is one of a kind. His capacity for beer is legendary, yet he's crazier and way more fun when he's as sober as a judge. He goes out of his way to help you, especially when you're not looking. He also likes to get naked in Macdonalds. That's pretty cool, if not actually pretty.

Gardner equals a good time and if you want it- one hell of a ride. And maybe its all Emily Posts training but hes the kind of guy who can go " Shall we?" and you cant help but reply " Yes lets". Like the man says himself "Trust him!"

Julie and I picked him up on the side of the road. From that point on I have enjoyed his sense of humor and yummy soups.

He was the guy who opened the door when we arrived at the collective. Nice guy and a bit of a workoholic.

Gardner is a superhero. His superpower is multifaceted and undisclosed. It's top secret. You can hear it in his jokes, you can taste it in his soup, but you can't see it. It's invisible.

we met at the Maitai campground and enjoyed our time with him. Great guy, free and easy going. Really enjoyed our chats. Enjoy your travels around NZ and hope we meet up again.

So I've taken a ride on Gardenburger's motorcyclette, & even though I screwed it up a bit, he was very easy going about it. He's easy-going & rad all around, & has a great sense of humor. He's funny & tells great stories, & has a lot of patience, is super charming & patient. He cooks yummy stuff too. Gardner is Grand.

Gardner helped me flag down a passing boat so that we could be rescued from a deserted island when he could have swam to shore without me (true story). He's an original gentleman and reincarnated 19th century adventurer socialite. He'll charm and excite your mother no less than your daughter. He'll have you bent over in pain from laughing. He'll recall his recent discovery and subsequent misplacement of a new continent. The present beware. The future beware.

 

Me and Gardner have had a lot of good times together at the Collective. We share a love of 12 year olds and other various alcoholic beverages and can often be found smoking cigarettes together somewhere in Nelson. Though big plans may never come to fruition, hopefully we will manage to make something cool happen from time to time.

Dude, this man is a good guy. From the first day he was a friend, and then we realised we like to drink, watch good movies, play poker and have good times. So how can you not think he was quality. He even didn't make fun of me when I missed my flight after drinking to much Whisky, the night before.

Gardner has been instrumental in upgrading the CSC-NZ to version 2.0. Without him, the enregy wouldn't be as high as it is here. Can I get a big 'hell yeah!' for Gardner!

he shared the knowledge in his head which was very handy indeed. and good person too! Will get to know him more since will share same table / house for more of the nelson summer.
