Met Lisa during her visit in Indianapolis. Enjoyed hearing about her work with urban gardens. I hope to hear of her successes in Dayton.

 

I am immensely grateful I finally got to meet Lisa. She is a wonderful person: Eco-friendly, VERY resourceful, passionate about Dayton , and HER Garden Station is beyond incredible!!! She is very easy to talk with - just as great of a listener, to listen to me blab on and on, haha. Her cooking skills are AWEsome - some Ramen Noodles, spices, expertly diced veggies, and... Ta Da: A superb supper to fill the tummy, haha :o) I am very excited to get back to Dayton to help and/or support her coming events!

Lisa answered our last minute request took us to dt festival and we had a nice talk. she is truly a country ambassador. we will see each other around more when we move to Dayton :)

Garment Lady is a very genuine person. She has a big heart and loves to have fun. I would like to visit her one day, I think she would be an amazing host :)

She's nice and has interesting conversation. Ask about her garden.

We went to the Detroit Couch Crash seperately but ended up coming back together. She has some amazing travel stories that you have to hear and she kept me awake on the road! Glad to have meet her and I hope to keep in contact!

 

I initially met Lisa at the Pittsburgh weekender, but didn't get to hang out with her enough. She came to part of the Detroit Couch Crash and I was very happy to get a chance to talk more with her. She is wonderful and would undoubtedly be a fantastic host.

Meet lisa at the Detroit Couch Crash (well... sorta). She's got a lot going on!! Gardens, music, art, travel! I look forward to hanging out with her again closer to home. =)

Lisa hosted us for two days and showed us around town and all of the amazing community things she's involved in. She's an excellent cook and a visit to her back yard left me wishing for a hammock of my very own :) Good luck with the garden!

Lisa showed us the art and community project she's involved around town and also pretty much pointed out the interesting things to do around (plenty!!). We had a great relaxing time at hers and discussing together. I definitely glad we had more time to talk! She is a person to meet!

What can I say about Lisa that hasn't already been said? She's awesome. I completely changed my opinion of Dayton, OH thanks to her.

 

I met Lisa during the Pittsburgh Regional Weekender at diverse venues ranging from a Croatian church to a 70+ gathering of people dressed to get laid. She is very friendly, energetic & full of ideas, and has totally inspired us to go out & freeze on Groundhog Day.

We met at the Co and are now trying to plan a camping invasion of Athens. She seems to be a pretty cool person and anyone who dresses like Wonder Woman AND shares my love of the Jolly Green Giant automatically earns my respect.

Lisa has such a warm and inviting personality. A rich person in many ways. She's always positive and friendly towards you. I hope our paths cross soon again. I would love it if you came to visit me in Norway!

Young looking and full of energy...able to easily beat a professional age guesser at the fair! lol Cool person to know definitely. Had a great time at the fair with her and always having exciting things to do here in Dayton. A great asset to CSing!

 

I've worked with her on creating a community garden and communal studio for the Dayton Circus Creative Collective, and we've traveled together a little bit in cluding couch surfing a Rod Stewart Concert in Cleveland and then crashing the couch of a CSer in Columbus.

I helped her put together a Linux box and recover her old documents when her old (old old) computer died. She's helped organize the communal studio I'm working on, and has lent the use of her piano and juicer to the cause. She's a regular part of our weekly burrito jams, and The Circus just approved her membership not to long ago. It wasn't even a decision!

She's great, I'd host her any time.

I had the joy of surfing with Lisa after the glorious Beastie Boys concert in Dayton. After the show she took me to all Dayton Thursday night hot spots. In the morning she served home made raisen bread! Great host!

Wow, what an awesome host! I got to help work on the Community Garden, where I got into henna. :) She even took me to a french horn rehearsal where I was able to play at!! A cozy couch, too... :)

 

Lisa MY ambassador! Really cool responsible helpful person. Thanks for cooking the yummy dinner. Taste so good that I had one to go too:-) Great to see the arts display at the Urban Night there. She knows the city inside out and will be the great asset for CS community. Keep up your good work!

 

We were both hosted by Ana in Philly one weekend together and she seemed up for any adventure. When she came to Baltimore later that week, it was nice to talk with her again.

 

Lisa was a very sweet guest and got along pretty good with the rest of the couchsurfers that were also surfing my place, she even cook for them :) She is very creative and I hope to see her again.

 

Lisa did a whirlwind tour of Baltimore, Philly, and New York. We shared a night out at a downtown Irish pub and a backyard fire. She was a great guest!

 

She seem pretty cool person, with good stories. We ride the bus to warm up :)
I pick her up from the airport, we went for dinner to another CS house and we met back in Philly.

lisa taught me so much about couchsurfing and just about how to travel in a more fun and cost efficient way. we danced at a diner, saw an art show, stared at mosaics and she got carded and i didn't when we went out. i can't believe she looks that young and i look that old!!!!!!

 

It was a pleasure to host her; Lisa is smart, friendly, easy going & courteous. I look forward to hanging out with her again. Bryson

 

Lisa is the most dedicated CSer I know, by far. She's a superb organizer and a very reliable and fun person. There's really not enough room here to describe how cool she s so just meet her and you'll understand!

This girl is dynamite! She's sweet, she's wacky and she's a world class resource for all kinds of fun. She saved me from a nightmare layover at Dayton Airport and made me feel better than home. Haven't known Lisa long, but all interactions have been positive -- she is very committed to the goals and mission of CS!

 

Lisa is awesome! She is one of the most active people I know. I admire her personality and, in a good way, envy her lifestyle. She's always up to something awesome! She introduced me to CS, so I am also VERY thankful to her for that.

Lisa is excited abotu couchsurfing and making things happen. She is inspired, organized and likes to have a good time! I've always enjoyed her company.

 

Lisa seemed like a really great gal, and is very involved in organizing all the activities for the Dayton CS group....including the "Night of the Living Zombies Pub Crawl"....(make sure you ask her about it!) She's also very involved in a local performance art group that sounds very cool. I hope I can make it down to one of their creative reclaimed garden space performances. Thanks for all you do to make the CS community work in Dayton Garment Lady!

 

Lisa is fun, energetic and extremely creative. She's always coming up with fun invasions and cser gatherings. I can't wait for the next one!

 

Lisa is a great and fun person! She is very active in the life of Dayton, is a truly hospitable host, and a fun friend to have. Went on my first road trip with her out to Pittsburgh Weekender, and we all had a blast!

 

Wonderful hostess and meeting organizer. Great food, great activities, and lots of spreading the word and joy of couchsurfing.

 

Lisa is absolutely one of the most helpful people I know and she so totally embodies the spirit of Couchsurfing! I regretted only getting to spend one day with her when she visited Los Angeles when I first joined, but got to make it up by spending more time with her when we were both in Chicago and then when she came to surf with my family in Florida! She is an AWESOME cook, has TONS of travel knowledge, a SUPERB sense of humor and is always up for ADVENTURE! She has all the tips and tricks of the travel trade, so if you have any questions, she's your go-to gal! And she's an excellent organizer, to boot! Can't say enough good things about Lisa and I consider her a dear friend of mine. :)

Lisa is an excellent couchsurfer. A real pro. The only one of us to have couchsurfing business cards or t-shirts to quickly explain why 20 of us were running around Pittsburgh causing a ruckus. Would love to meet us with her again and travel together!

Although I have not known her very long, what I do know about Lisa is very positive. I look forward to developing this relationship!

I met her through he roommate, and have since participated in several events she's organized, as well as become friends with more of her friends! She really excels at bringing people together for positive purposes. Not to mention she's the best ambassador for CouchSurfing one can imagine.

I met Lisa while we both were staying at Kelly's place for the CS regional meet in Pittsburgh. She is well traveled and really good to chill out n chat with. Definitely has a strong CS spirit. :)

Lisa was awesome... she always seemed content with whatever she did. She was also a gratious guest in the same house as me. I'm looking forward to zombies, free hugs and of course....my horn lesson!

What lisa doesnt know is that I was listening to her play the french horn while she was practicing up in my attic. Lisa is 100% with the cause, the traveling guest/host concept in general. She doesn't limit herself to only CS. She is very active in all her groups and genuinly loves it! She is always welcomed back to Pittsburgh. I am sure we will cross paths now and again since we are now regional neighbors!

It was nice to host Lisa as we met two years ago in Germany and to hear of her travels. Lisa is a wonderful person. I highly trust her.

Lisa was my first couchsurfer and I couldn't have asked for a more refreshing person to open my couch up to and show around the Olympics. She was very comfortable to hang out with, like we had known eachother for a long time. She was able to share her experiences in the couchsurfing system and extra travel tips to help you along with your own travels. Definitely a person worth taking time and getting to know and letting surf your couch!

I can't believe I haven't yet got to a ref on this girl. Damn!

Lisa loves CouchSurfing. That's all there is to it! She LOVES it! Mind you, I found her quiet and calm, two qualities I'm not used to. I think she would've warmed up if she'd stayed longer. But, she'll be back. I know it!

 

People like her are good for this organization. She organized a group to meet in Columbus. I wanted to join in and offered to go jet skiing. The six of us had a blast. Afterward, we came back to my house and watched the #1 Buckeyes beat #2 Texas while chomping on pizza. She's nice, active, and she even picked up the pizza!

Lisa's great to talk to and nice and friendly.

I feel this person is very friendly and a free spirit. I love to hang out with her anytime.

thanks for the shelter, food, historic tour, little miami river hike, gardening, trip to pirates III and conversation. ohio is a very pleasant place and you historic home is beautiful.

happy times in Germany. I met a few times now with Lisa and it was always a great pleasure for me! We met 2005 in Frankfurt for a local meeting and then have together X-Mas Party in Freiburg. After the winter break she was back during the world cup in Germany and we spent so nice days in Kaiserslautern and Frankfurt! What an amazing time! Hope to see you back in autum! Always good travelling and nice hostings! cu seen back soooon!

GarmentLady and I met at a CS meetup in Detroit, and I had an awesome time chatting it up with her and hearing about her CS experiences. I'd say she was not only great to talk to and a really fun person, but her enthusiasm for CS really has inspired me to get into it more strongly.

She might kidnap you and take you to Dayton, but I'd say it's worth the trip. She's really cool and I'm glad she made the trip up to Chicago.

I totally enjoyed my time with Lisa. I discovered new things about Chicago as well as myself while she was in town. She is a great guest and she brought all her own food though i kept trying to feed her! I may have to make that trip to Dayton just to visit!

Lisa is at the top of the hospitality game. She knows the time everywhere she goes, and you will always be in the mix if you stick with her.

We've done some stuff around Dayton and Cincinnati together. She is awesome - open-minded and a lot of fun to be with!

Lisa is a seasoned couchsurfer. She is travelling all the time and has some great stories to tell about her experiences meeting other HC/CS folks. I hosted her so she could come to Ann Arbor for an audition. She is warm and personalble, yet practically invisible in your home. She leaves a very small ecological footprint.

Garmentlady was soooo very helpful to me while I was visiting Germany for the world cup this summer. We traveled to Heidelburg together in her vehicle and she toured me all around putting up with my neverending stories:)

Lisa is a very intersesting gal and a great guest. Easy going and takes care of herself..and her host too! :) We met thru the HC forum and when she came to NYC she called me for a place to stay. She stayed here for a few nights with some other guests and we had a lot of fun.

We liked each other, so when she came back to Los Angeles, she surfed my couch. She is a wealth of knowledge on affordable travel. If she wants to show a newbie how it's done... I'll gladly go w/ her on any trip!

 

Garmentlady rocks - She was the only one who showed up at a meet I helped plan in Edmonton. Then we went over to her friends art gallery (only a block from my home) for a private tour. Very cool - sorry it took me so long to post!

She is admirable, open-minded, independent and full of energy, positivity and ready for adventure. Here always will be more than a couch for you! Hope we meet again, sunshine :)
