if you want sleep in the garage if thats your thing. If you pass out in my room watching movies or drunk im not gonna throw you out. pretty much if your not picky you can sleep wherever there's room.

IM IN FLORIDA For work.... ill let you know when im back. GEORGE

Upper West Side....

Before we go any further let me tell you my work schedule.... I work M-F 6am to 6 pm.... im generally exhaustd. I am about as much fun on weekdays as a piece of wood. I cant host alot... and i get a ton of requests... i dont try and be rude or picky, but im busy, and tired often... when im not working though im a blast...

The Furniture-
I have my bed, and theres a futon in the living room. I have a sleeping bag, and a laptop you can use....and a pillow.

What you can expect-
I work a good bit. When Im not working I like to have fun. I'm well travelled, out-going, and can tell drunken stories for hours. I am also not a free hotel. If you dont wanna hangout with me; find a hotel. You will be required to interact. I dont wanna have to bend your arm to make you speak. I am also good with a small amount of references (Everyone has to get started somewhere), But c'mon at least fill out your page and add pictures of yourself, and not just your friends or a really cool tree.

Personal Description

I am from a small town in Florida. I love biology, and had planned my whole life going to medical school, But I got sick of school, and fell in love with travel. I am outdoorsy, and i can get along with anyone, for any amount of time, and in any situation...I like meeting people from all over the world. I have been told I'm one of the funniest most genuine people ever. But who knows what you will think... I guess you'll have to find out. I am a traveller and not a tourist. I would rather spend the days and evenings hanging out and talking to you and your friends and learning about the country from you rather then walking around with a camera and map for 10 hours in Museums that I can read about online. I have just made the move to NYC and once I get setup. I'd love to host ya.

I met George for couple of drinks. George has a great personality. We talked a lot about many subjects and he is very curious about other cultures. He is clever and has a beautiful view on couch surfing concept. You should consider yourself as lucky if George can host you.

It was great to stay with George. He allowed us to stay alone in the apartment, helped us to shop, carrying our suitcases to home, even though he worked a lot it was fun! Kastrul'ka!
And what does geerous mean? There is no translation in a dictionary =(

George picked me up (over an hour drive)and showed me around his hometown where we went swimming with manatees (and apparently an alligator!), to the beach and to a great little cuban restaurant. He is a great guy- hilarious and has some interesting stories! Thanks again for the amazing time!

I have just confused your Couchsurf Request with another one.

Anyway, since I don't know you I can't leave you a negative reference because I am not used to judging people without knowning them. Whats wrong with a "sorry, I can't"? That was to another person anyway.

Take it easy man!

Georgie is a fun, active and sociable person. We tried to get him drunk with our famous (and extremely strong) Belgian beers... but we gave up, cause he can drink like a horse. :) He has good humor, interesting stories to tell and knows well how to play poker,... but you lost, you f*cker :) Enjoy the travelling!

We had a really good time with George in Copenhagen - he was up to do anything, very laidback, lot's of good stories, and gave us a ton of insights into getting around Europe. If all couch surfers are like him then we know we will have a good time!

After meeting George at Thorbjørn Kühl's flat, we explored Copenhagen together as we were both first timers to the city. Although quite accomplished, I detected no arrogance in him at all. Instead I found George very down to earth and easy to talk to. Good luck in medical school, homie.

i knew him because he stole my room in amsterdam, hahahaha, i'm just kidding man, hahaha..... actually, it was a coincidence, at the beggining it was kind of hard to get on with each other, because we're very different, but with the time i could appretiate that he's a cool guy, so, i defenitely recomend this person, he's very easy-going, and loves baseball
we might meet again in the future, man, may be our paths will cross again

What shall I say about George. There's so much to say.. First and foremost: he is a baseball-addict, whose favourite team is the Boston Red Sox (they haven't lost a game since George stayed at my place, maybe that's a sign.. ;) Furthermore, may be that he cooks better, but I can do the dishes way better than he does (isn't that a great match). He liked my parents' witlof. My brother wants to meet him again to play poker with him, two friends of mine want to catch up with him when they go to Florida, my colleagues want to meet him again for a drink.. Really.. man, watch out that you don't get to attached to him.. I was already missing him, the day before he left for Belgium... That should say enough..

sorry for the negative thing... althoug george is a fun guy to hang out with and know lots a funny stories, he is NOT a traveler...
i believe that, even though youre not supposed to write about sights and museums, youre supposed to at least leave the house!

well george was a fun guy but prolly not the best couchsurfer! he chose to spend mid summer fest, the best thing Latvians have, in a hostel with foreigners, NOT outside with Latvians celebrating!!!!

i know its george's choice, but... i seriously have no idea why lonely planet chose him to write about traveling! well, not such an interesting guy!

yeah, well, hopefully youll see more of other places you go to!

George and I meet in Warsaw, he was starting his trip around the world and was a cool guy. He has a strong florida accent, does not get past you that he is an american ( its nice to ask though, cause the question where are you from is a classic conversation starter ).

But he is cool, and I specially liked the fact that his world travel had no special timelimit, he was just going to travel untill he was bored or broke, now that is a plan I like.
