Gustavo Roo

we met on my 19th birthday, that happens to be a CS meeting and then we keep contact through some tumblr/twitter meetings on our city. He's a very interesting guy once you get to talk with him and I really enjoy knowing about his travelling lifestyle.

En la Vereda del Lago de Maracaibo, nos conocimos con Gustavo.
Pasamos una tarde realmente muy buena al borde del lago, tomando unos mates y charlando entre todos los couchs presentes de diferentes costumbres, viajes y risas entre otras cosas.
Muchisimas gracias por venir y por compartir un poco de nuestras costumbres argentinas entre todos los presentes, realmente es muy agradable y recomfortante realizar encuentros en los cuales asistan personas como él, la próxima oportunidad será quizas para un " asadito " o nuevamente alguna mateada. Un gusto para mi conocerte y bienvenido cuando gustes a Buenos Aires!

Part of the CS Maracaibo massive that looked after me so well in my time there. A laid back guy with a passion for viagra (the vinagary mango snack!) Thanks to him and his friends I had a fun time in Mcaibo.

I met Gustavo briefly while he was in Dallas for training. He is very pleasant and easy to talk with right upon meeting. He even shared his very delicious chocolate. I would be happy to host him anytime!

 

Gustavo is fun! He surfed our couch during his stay in Switzerland and I really enjoyed his company. He prepared Arepas for us (yummie!) and we sung together all the Abba-Songs in the cinema.

Gustavo is one of the nicest guys I've ever met! he is really polite and friendly, and was the person who encouraged me to become involved with the couchsurfing experience and I thank him a lot for that.. hope this is the beggining of a beautiful friendship!..

Gustavito es un lindo chico! Bastante calladito (comparando lo que yo hablo) pero sabe cuando debe hablar! jeje! Lo conocí en mi primer meeting y fue surper simpático conmigo, me recibió como una amiga desde ese momento. Ah, Gustavo. Cachapas (am I right?) is my best memory with him lol, he knows how to cook! We met during his european trip in London and then Lyon, where he surfed my couch for 3 days. He's curious of everything or loves discovering! We talked about everything, and his opinion is always sincere and interesting. thanks for Animoto! ;)

Gustavo has a talent for getting lost but always finds his way ;) Admirable perseverance, happiness, a smile that comes from somewhere deep inside, a great character and very friendly guy. Also thoughtful and caring I just can't recommend him enough! Looking forward to seeing him again or should i say Hasta pronto hermano

 

After having met his friends in Maracaibo, I can finally meet him and even host him! I had a lot of fun going out with him and other friends in Lausanne!
I hope that next time in Maracaibo, you will show me good places and party until dawn :-)

 

Gustavo! Had such a great time with Gustavo the first time that he came back for seconds! Really nice guy. We went out to a couple parties in London and saw The Dark Knight together, he even helped Liliana make Arepas! (dont know if I spelled that correctly). Hopefully I'll see him in Venezuela sometime in the future.

Gustavo was really worth meeting - anyone that likes Charlie Chaplin must be! We did the Tower of London together and I liked everything about this guy; cool, interesting, funny and a great photographer! We then had drinks in the pub and I started to feel he was my brother; this was before I was given Venezuelan chocolate, jejeje. See you soon bro!

We met up again in Venezuela and he is a fun guy, always laughing and stealing stuff from supermarkets (oh sorry, that last bit was about me!)

Gustavo is a good guy who likes to hang out with couchsurfers. His work gives him an exceptional advantage to travel, so he will be visiting many places abroad. I recommend you to host him, you can have fun and yummy ice-creams! Haha

Really nice guy, goes with the flow.. you can have interesing conversations with him...

 

Conoci a Gustavo durante los dias que estuve en Maracaibo. Es un chico super chevere con el que tuve la oportunidad de hablar bastante. Salimos junto a varios amigos de CS y me llevo el grato recuerdo de haber hecho a un nuevo amigo. Estas mas que invitado a venir a Puerto Rico.

He's just amazing! During our three days in Maracaibo he slept probably less than 5 hours and still had all the energy needed for lots of fun! If you have the chance, meet him, host him, you'll love him!

Tavo (as we call him) is a quiet guy who never misses a CS meeting. He always says YES even when he has to work. Tavo seems to be the kind of person who you can speak about everything with. We have a lot of coming CS meetings to share and get to know us better.

 

Wow,what a great time you made us have in your huuuuge city! well, I think to write down here all the positive things I could say about gustavo takes far to much space here. Just go to this city and hang out with a great group of couchsurfing. Gustavo is very active and makes you feel like in paradise, even though he slept for only an hour or skiped it completely. He always smiles and makes you feel comfortable and sure in this wide world ;) Sure you're welcome on my couch!!!!!! (as soon as I'm back...)

poco tiempito pero pude ver que es un chico tranqui, dulce y siempre con una sonrisa en la cara.. espero podamos compartir mas tiempo y alargarlas en estas paginas... gustavooooo mi querido amigoo nos llevamos super bien nos reimos bastante y siempre la pasamos genial... washington es lo mejor!! lo recomiendo a full si quieres pasar con el un rato lleno de risas y alegriass :D

Outgoing, shiny-happy, great charisma and knows how to rock - in one word totally cool. Would be great to see you in Holland in August and of course! If all of you have the chance, definitely host/meet Gustavo, he's a great guy!

Gustavo is a very quiet and intelligent person who speaks great English. He is very well traveled, and was a pleasure to chat with. He is an awesome guy that I hope you have the opportunity to meet. He and all the couchsurfers from Maracaibo are very kind people. Let me know when you are headed to the states to visit. It was great hanging out!

Tavo is a reallyyyyyyyyyyyyy cool guy! interested in everything n always there to listen u! is so gentle n kind! one of the most interestant person i met those last days for sure! i recomend him as a guest, friend! or whatever! such a cool guy! xD

 

Gustavo couldn't be accommodated at my place because another couchsurfer had been promised, but I hosted him at Disney Hall and had a very pleasant time with him. His English is superlative, and he impressed me as serious person who's warm and engaging.

 

We were so happy that Gustavo found us and made us his first CS experience. This guy tried everything with us from folkdancing to letting my students hang all over him because they adored him! Thank you so much for the Venezuelan music, your friendship and COME AGAIN!
