I'm an Alaskan gal, born and raised. My husband Rob is from Colorado, and we are former Peace Corps volunteers now living in Norway where we are both pursuing graduate degrees. We are avid travelers and enjoy hosting and being hosted all over the world.

We are much more likely to agree to host you if you have references (even from friends!) and have complete filled out your profile and been verified in at least one way.

We are happy to advise folks on their trip to Alaska, Colorado or Zambia via email. We can make recommendations on travel, what's worth your time to see, or how to prepare for your trip. We are able to host people here in Ås, but we have busy schedules so please request in advance!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted a few, and have been hosted a handful of times! All of our experiences thus far have been great, and we feel lucky to get to be part of such a great community of travelers.

We can teach English and some other basic things. Hannah is especially interested in outdoor excursions. She's an eco-geek, and love to talk culture and travel.

Rob is a Colorado native and has lived in Fort Collins and Castle Rock. He loves music, good beer, and can teach business and marketing skills.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We cook pretty well, are happy to help with housework, and are good at entertaining ourselves.
