Positive. open minded. laid back. feet on the ground.

 

Without knowing me at all, but trusting Auntie Donna and the Godson, Hillary opened her home, arms and heart to me. A lovely person, both inside and out, she shows the true spirit of CouchSurfing!

 

Hillary radiates energy and is so pretty in pink. We first briefly in a dust storm a year ago and then met again back at Burning Man.
Hillary: I hope your life is full of sunshine and that our paths cross somewhere in this world again.

 

Mon dieu! I would have burned alive on the Playa if it hadn't been for Hillary...anyone who can mix an ice-cold vodka tonic in 70mph dust storm is a goddess in my book! (She must have had an icemaker hidden in that battleship-sized cooler because she was non-stop serving up constant frozen goodness to everyone.) Thanks so much for the fun times, laughs, and excellent vibes. Girl iIf you don't have a playa name, you do now: Queen Bee! :-)

 

She made me a beautiful woman on the playa in less than 5 minutes for the most amazing wedding ceremony I have ever been apart of. What a beautiful spirit!

We were happy to host this beautiful lady in May 2007, grab some tacos and cheap margaritas, before getting way too waisted and having to call in "sick" the next day! Then we were stoked to run into her again at the Ice shop in Burning Man 08. Woohoo! hope we get to meet up like that again and again. :D

 

She is BEAUTY!!! So glad we finally met and got to experience some nice desert storms together. Glad you will be in San Francisco and hope we will hang out again soon. It's been really good to meet you...i've looked forward to that for awhile :)) HUGS!

 

She looks like tinkerbell and even has the sparkles to prove to prove it! I love being around Hillary as she makes me feel like I'm flying oh so high! If you are in need of a smile or a laugh - she is the friend you need around! :)

 

Somehow it seemed fitting to meet the wondrous Hils at Dan's Apron party, and Amy's house again! She is fun, and charming and witty; I am glad somehow our personal worlds are still a bit enmeshed.

I've had the privilege of spending this last week with Hillary - hanging out, going on road trips, and getting to know her through multiple 'girl talks'! She has shown me immense and unsolicited generousity, great humour, and is a highly evolved and admirable young woman. I wish I'd known what she knows now, when I was younger! Hillary has made my stay in SF unforgettable, and I genuinely hope to remain friends and share new experiences (and bay laurel pees!) with her in the future.

I Luv this Girl!!!Need i say more!!??!!:)Hilary is such a cool and fun-lovin' person..We had a good talk over the smokey BBQ nite,hehe!!!All i can say is I'm lucky to know her in person and can't wait for April to come so we can hang out in Cal. together!!!yeah!!!U rock, girl!!

UPDATE: Hilary and I met again(finally!!)in SF and this time, i can't even thank her enough for her warm bed she provided me:)I'm sad that i had such a short time to spend with her there but surly, I feel we'll meet again somehow, maybe sooner than I think!!I luv u, Hil!!mwha!!

 

Pilgrim Hillary is the most bas ass gangster girls I ever did meet! I love her so much!

She represents all good that can come from another human. She's smarter than you, empathetic, Observant (Only 1 dimple), great listener, nurturer, and carries a heart of gold. She doesn't need regognition, carry ego and is impeccable with her word post 2007.

besides being a wonderfully beautiful person who is fun to hang out with at all times, Hillary also managed to be my guide on something of a spiritual journey - I am forever indebted

 

Hillary is one of those unique blend of people that always seems to find a way to not just roll with the fun but make it even better. Lots o' love flows around this girl and I can't wait to see her again and again.

 

You want Hillary with you when the shit goes down. Mix one part Martha Stuart, one part Lara Croft, and two parts each of intellectual, fun, kind, and strong. Oh, and don't forget to add some glamorous.

I very much hope I get to keep track of her. She's a gift.

Great to have her as a Burning Man camp mate my first and third year out on the playa. Lots of positive energy- Fun, Fun Fun!

Hillary is my Plan A. She has the most amazing smile...she smiles with her eyes! Full of energy and kindness. Not exactly sure how she can fit that heart in her chest. Must be magic. She makes me happy :)

 

hillary couldnt have been more fun, or humorous. we laughed, we shopped, we ate, we drank, we drank some more...it was funny to watch her in per perfect pink furry outfit during the dust storm. she is a real princess, like me:) but i need some lessons on surviving dust storms with grace from her:) cant wait to know her better:) xoxo (still waiting my crown:) hehe

 

Hillary lights up every corner of the world she goes to! Whether its sharing the love in NZ or looking fabulous on the playa, I'm always so happy to see her.

 

Hillary has an awesome, adventurous nature. She is a very bright and highly spirited woman with a lot going for her. She is definitely a goddess with the world in the palm of her hand. So much fun to talk to and party with. I know we will spend more time together as she is so close and I love Quincy! Love this burner girl in all her fur!

 

I'm so glad to have had the chance to live in New Zealand with Hillary for more than a month!!! She has the biggest heart of anybody I've ever met , cooks divine food, is so fun to go out with, laugh with, chat with. She is pure goodness !!! Can't wait to see you on the playa :D

Hillary is great. She can chill and party the perfect combo for any gal. I look forward to our next encounter which will be in the US. The more time i spend with Hillary the better.

 

Hillary is a wonderful , warm gal who has the ability to bring calm and happiness to all...She is a well rounded and helpful person most would be lucky to call a frined. She has a fun side to her and thats when her eyes light up ! It was great to have met her and gotten to know her and chat and hang out..I know we will meet again.

 

I love Hillary! When I first saw her she was just a random girl working in a Cafe. I walked by this Cafe and looked back to say hi. She felt so familiar. But how it goes on travel I went on to find my friends. What a surprise it was when I realised that my friends where actually staying at her house. You can just imagine how grateful I felt.. I stayed for one night at her house, we met back in San Francisco and had always lots of fun. Life is just wonderful! How connections, feelings and intuitions work out together! Hillary is so natural and beautiful, welcomes those how cross her way and enjoys the beauty of life!

 

A person whos' attentive to the needs of others around her. A woman with a heart of gold, wisdom beyond her years and unlimited patience. She welcomed me to her home in Nelson and I am ever grateful for her generosity. Ribuan terima kasih as they say in my country Hillary. My home where it may be in future welcomes you unconditionally!

Hillary is one of the most 'together' people I have ever met. Grounded and experimental and loving and fun all at the same time. A rare combination.

 

One of the instigator of Casey's birthday kidnapping, I can't imagine a better way to show love then by bringing off a brilliant surprise party. I think my favorite moment was watching her whip cream with a green cape... quite a strange visual image and one I'm glad I caught on film. :) These are of course was just a few of many things saw her do in love of others the short time I had to be around her in Nelson. Perhaps I'll see her again at a burning man soon.

 

Hillary is sooooo old! Shes already owned a house and gone to college for 5 years and traveled round the world and way too many things to only be 22! An awesome girl to talk to, her life experience is really deep and she listens really well. A really beautiful person, inside and out.

 

Sweeter than your grandmother's cupcake icing. More charming than a music box. A more experienced burner than Larry Harvey himself. A coquette wrapped in laser beam and wrapped in a fuzzy pink blanket.

 

You make the best wheat free muffins I have ever tasted.

 

we met at the collective in Nelson. A very nice and friendly person...she introduced me into the ancient art of spring-roll rolling.

 

The more time I spend with Hil the more I want to. She is an extraordinary person with a uniquely generous heart. I find layer upon layer of surprising new features continuously unfolding like the petals of a new bud slowly opening: ever fresh, and eager, and yet inevitable, and with considerable poise. She is classy and coquettish, incredibly strong and independent, with a mind and heart open to all things beautiful and free. It is an honor to be counted among her friends. Besides all that - she loves to dance, and - i believe it has been said - I DO have a soft spot in my heart for ALL the kitties....

 

I love meat and I love Hillary. I am pretty easy to please in that sense but Hillary is so much more than just meat. I don't know what exactly, but from the few conversations we've had I can tell there is a lot going on. I know she really listens to what people say and you can't give enough kudos for that. Hopefully I will get a chance to figure out more about her as time goes on. Something tells me I will learn a lot about myself by getting to know her as well. Just a hunch.

Her heart is genuine, and her spirit is ready for everything. How can anyone ever forget the amount of fun that can be had under one small roof. You are such a sweet!

Hilary is a million bucks: a total knock-out plus open-minded, generous, and nice. When Casey left my bag in her car in San Fran and it ended up five hours north in Quincy, she actually mailed it to me. What a sweetie! Take my advice, count your lucky stars and say "yes!" if she wants to surf your couch! She will make you giggle, and she will probably make you dance!!

 

We had some bonding experiences at Decomp '06.

 

Hillary is an amazing host and person. We connected in a way that leaves little doubt that we will stay in touch for a very long time. Thank you!

Here is an update to Hillary's reference that I left her earlier. I originally left her a positive reference instead of an extremely positive reference because after spending a week with her at her house she had forgotten my name was BOB! It highly distressed her that I wouldn't leave an extremely positve and pleaded and pleaded with me for days to change it. I held firm though. Then she discovered my week spot. There is nothing in the world I love more than having my head scratched, and she poured her heart and soul into that head scratching session. Now I have to say that I am going to have to talk to casey and tell him to add an extremely, extremely positive, because that is what she deserves. Your the best Hillary.

Hilary's not really hilarious, but she's a great girl. She's a great host and really knows how to make you feel amazingly comfortable.

Hillary has a beautiful, comfortable house at the end of a street that turns into woods/ hills/ mountains. She's extremely hospitable and friendly. Her house is full of good food; she shares everything, and asks for nothing in return.

What would we have done without Hillarys hospitality? Thanks to her high rolling status, she was able to put us up in a Luxury hotel room in Reno for a quick rest before the Burning Man mayhem.
Thanks for the fuzzy coat, it kept me warm on many a nights as well.

 

This woman's beauty is so deep it goes right through her. Do not miss the opportunity to spend time with this goddess.

Hillary was kind enough to let us share her hotel room before we finished the trip into Burning Man. Her hospitality and kindness blew me away, which even extended onto the playa with big coats to keep me warm at night! Shame we couldnt hang out more...next time!

It began with a general sharing of emails on CS, then moving into phone calls, which then led to me finding that Hillary not only could pick me up at the airport but could provide me with a place to stay in the midst of getting my travel arrangments worked out so I could make it to Burning Man on its 1st day. Immediately after leaving the airport, the memory of our time together easily replays with so much pleasure. Amongst the store shopping, gambling, meeting some of her friends - along with Hillary's generosity of paying for my dinner - I truly could not have asked for a better experience. I am only so glad for all of the opportunities I had...before even getting to the playa and eventually after everything played out at Burning Man.

Hillary, you have made me so F'n =)!

Forget the museums, just go to the beach! Too bad Hillary was only here for one day! I could have talked with her for a couple of days more. She’s a very inspiring person and a perfect guest. The way Hillary experiences people and cultures is special and I had a great time with her! I’m sure I will see her again… maybe at Burning man? :-)
