Life. so wondrous.
ABOUT ME
-oyoy on the road agaain, over in the scandinavian fairy forests for now , come for a walk with me if you please -'
Couchsurfing is neither dating site nor hostel!! :D It's a beautiful opportunity for.. LOTS of lovely things.
the travel bug bit me when I was young, a few days before high school graduation my backpack was already packed, the start of a long hitchhiking trip in front of me.
That was forever ago, many days and nights, christimases and summer solstices later it seems I've ended up living on this ancient land ironically called 'young' in the national anthem. Travel , various projects and some lovely jobs occupy most of my existence currently. Settling for a long period seems like a distant romantic notion, yet i feel its approaching after these 9 years of nomadism.
Exchanges make sense to me, constantly giving and recieving with the people known as strangers which is why i joined this website as a little innocent 19 year old idealist wishing for a world where everyone were always good to one another. Life was a merciless teacher. I still believe firmly in the goodness of us humans but see that greed, judgement and ignorance dominate over kindness, humility and love in many beings currently coinhabiting this ball in space. For that I love everyone that has that glow of compassion even more. People that share a laugh with a stranger and everyone that is doing things making this world a better home for all beings.
My view on current cs is pretty much summed up in this article
http://kernelmag.dailydot.com/issue-sections/features-issue-sections/13124/life-and-death-couchsurfing/?tw=dd
So I recommend all beings loving and caring about hospitality exchange, hitchhiking and co-creation of community (as CS used to be before becoming a corporate for profit thing) to join trustroots :D
