we got connected very fast and had so many funny moments together. stefan took me to some lovely places we talked so much senseless shit together. it was hard to stop laughing while I was with him. thank you for hosting "die deutsche"

 

Cannot say enough good things about Stefan and his housemate Adam! They took me on last minute, even though they already had two other couchsurfers with them. I felt so comfortable and welcome, and they both were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to show me the city and make sure I had a good time. You guys are welcome to Australia anytime! Thanks for an awesome time in Vienna!

 

Stefan is just a character you have to meet when in Vienna!!
He is doing a great job in organizing tons of meetings and parties in the cs community and is really dedicated to his work.
I still haven't gotten to surf his couch though, but I'll catch up on that one in fall, promise :)

Anyways, Stefan is a great guy, up for partying all night long, as well as for a 'gmiatlichs' get together @ the Schweizerhaus and not to forget all the great stories he will tell you ( but don't believe everything he says :P )

A great organizer! I joined the Vienna calling and he was part of the crew responsible for one of the best parties in my life! Even though things were sometimes quite chaotic, he always stayed calm and in control of the situation. We also had some good discussions about CS and life in general.

Stefan hosted us during what probably was his most busy weekend of the year. Unfortunatly we hadn't had much time to talk a lot, but I can tell you this. He's a wonderfull and accomodating host. Hopefully we will meet up again someday!

 

I met firstly Stefan at the Paella 2008, but we didn't talk so much. The Vienna Calling 2009 was the opportunity to know him more. I surfed his couch during this event and I appreciate this Marathon Party Man ! As he was one of the main organiser of this event, he had to leave very late during the night, and I live to be the last to leave parties. A nice host for sure !

Stefan is a really nice guy, fun to talk to. Hope I'll meet him at the next viennese meetings :)

Stefan is a crazy Austrian guy that introduced me to what it is to be well... Austrian! He is so funny, and knows how to have a great time. He is the first to arrive and the last to leave- and I got to be with him a few times to see it :) I loved being hosted by him, and he is welcome in my home any time. Thanks so much for wonderful memories, and Vienna calling 2009!

Stefan and Adam nicely hosted me at the last minute. Stefan is a friendly cool guy who I wish I could have spent more time with. Stefan is always welcome to surf my couch and I hope to meet him again.

Stefan just MUST come visit me, I need a chance to make up for the things he helped me with. And besides that, I really enjoyed staying with him. It's hard to put it in words, but he's a great person, who can make you smile again after a really messed up day...

we met the first time at an unconference named "barcamp" in vienna where he gave a talk about couchsurfing. he also participated in hunTU (a schnitzeljagd i co-organized) at vienna tu. he is an awesome guy, a very engaged couch surfer and great to party with.

Thank you for the excellent hosting :) Stefan showed us around the city just like a tourist guide even though I bet he has showed the same places about 100 times to different people. And great company!

We met at VIenna Stammtisch in May he was the first person I've ever met from Couchsurfing :-) He's very nice, laid back and cheerful. Looking forward to the next stammtisch!

Stefan is a really laid back kind of guy. He is great to talk to, and generally just to hang out with. He is always down for something fun! I hope to see him soon!

 

Stefan was a wonderful host in Vienna, and lots of fun to hang out with! He is a dedicated Couchsurfer and Vienna Ambassador, and his house is always open to people from all over the world. Like every good Austrian, he loves beer and schnitzel and took us to a great restaurant for the same. I know i'll be back in Vienna soon, and I hope to hang out/surf with Stefan and Adam again!

 

Stefan hosted me for a few days in Vienna. He was very friendly and hospitable - he even invited me to stay a few extra days so I could actually see Vienna. We ended up going to the Prater and it was quite fun.

Stefan is an excellent host. He showed my friend and me the main sights in Vienna and even climbed the St.Stefans Cathedral 434 steps, took us out to very nice places for dinner, let us stay even longer than pre-arranged when our plans went wrong and gave us the full control of the house. Our timing was a bit different and for couple of days we couldn't really spend time together, but nevertheless he made us feel like home. I wish we could chat more, but the next time in Sofia we'll catch up!

I had a great time with Stefan. He hosted a Xmas dinner for CS orphans at his flat and I thought that was a really nice thing to do. He is a great host and a pretty easygoing guy. Take care Stefan! =)

Stefan is a really wellcoming guy.I stayed in his place with my boyfriend and the first day we were tired but the chrismas day was really funny with 10 others couchsurfers and a lot of happiness.I don't remember evrything but I will never forget the famous "année coup de coeur"(wondering years)!!!

 

Stefan invited us to a Christmas Eve Dinner. So we met eachother at his home where we prepared the dinner together. We had a lot of fun at this evening and for me it was the funniest and most interesting Christmas Eve ever.

 

Stefan seemed like a nice guy and he provided great hospitality. WE went to visit the Christmas markets one night and I meet a few of his couch surfing mates who all seemed like pretty cool guy to

 

Stefan is too nice,it was nice to meet&talk with a fellow ambassador! Vienna is just an awesome city and "he is the man", i mean always up to organise something and have fun, he is one of the persons who spreads out the spirit of CS, and make you feel welcome & confortable! with that he is someone very kine and interesting to talk too.

I came to Vienna for about a week in October 2008 and was hosted by Stefan and his roommate Stefan. There was also another surfer staying at the time named Pippa. During this week, I met so many new couchsurfers and went to a great party on my last night, I'm so glad I stayed with these guys because I was able to meet great people and go to some really fun places. Definitely a fun place to surf at if you ever visit Vienna. You're always welcome to come visit New York!

Stefan is a very funny person.

Stefan is a nice guy! I met him in a party in Vienna and two days later met him randomly at the Prater! He let me ride the Starwars roller coaster for free haha! We had lots of fun!

He invited me to a couchsurfing event in Vienna. I enjoyed chatting with him at the party and I had a great time!

 

i already knew stefans profile and a few other direct connections to him and we even exchanged a few messages already and now i finally met him at the paella. I didn't even recognize him at first without the beard from his profile picture :D but then we ended up having a great time at the Paella, the lake and the indoor swimming pool! sorry i can't make it to the stammtisch, but i'll be there some day, for sure! thanks for a nice weekend!

Ok well I met Viennas Darling Prost at a Stammtisch or two back when I joined the Vienna CS scene in Autumn 07. Unfotunatly I was not able to make it to many of the smaller events where its possible to really speak to people. Since Spring and Summer have begun I have been meeting Stefan all over Vienna. Its been a great couple of nights involving Tequila and Barbeques involving Rum. Its really fun to hang out around a fire with Stefan and I cant wait to see more of him soon.

If you search for a CS meeting in Vienna, Stefan will be always part of it :-) cu (hear u:-) neighbour

Well what should I write what has not been said yet? Stefan is a really pleasant type, you can have a lot of fun with him and he is a good listener but also communicative.

I met Stefan two or three times now, surfed his couch two times and all I can say is that he is a very nice and friendly man, helpful in every way.

I surfed with stefan for four days and he was so warm, welcoming and completely open to showing me what made vienna such a special place. thanks to him, i had some great cultural experiences and really learned a lot about what couchsurfing is all about.

 

Stefan is a big friendly teddy bear, who likes to drink. Imagine a drunk bear who wants to play with you but doesn't know his own strength so while he's trying to say "hello" you're trying to keep your arms on. He can show a pretty good time around Vienna though and that's worth something. Also a great guy to have in your corner when you need a last minute couch. Or an Ottakringer.

Stafan is a cool dude who hosted me beside having 2 other couschsurfers at his place in the very latest second, as I needed an emegency couch - It was good fun @ his place and he made me feel like home.Thx Stefan you help to change the world @ least for a bit.

 

We met at several CS meetings and had some talks. Besides that I see in the group postings how much he cares about CS. Would like to know more about you, Stefan!

Stefan accepted my late couch request and hosted me for two nights! Although our schedules didn't match up exactly, when we did have time to hang out he was a funny guy who likes to tell some good stories- his flat is nice and big with an ample amount privacy. Also, it's close to the underground, making it easy to get around in Wien!

I'll see him at the Stammtisch this Friday [08-02-07] over a few beers!

 

Stefan is such a very nice friend: calm and relaxed when chilling out, he listens to you instead of "hear" to you, and he can become a crazy dance machine too! I am very lucky to have him as a friend of mine. Hey Prost, respect! You rock. :P

 

A CRAZY!!! guy he is...albeit a very amiable one, too! Where Stefan is, there's always party (or was it the other way round) and I've had plenty of good laughs with him: at several meetings in Vienna - in pubs, on the Donauinsel -, at Vince's CS Paella 2007 in Switzerland and pretty much every time I see him he's up to something weird/ funny.

Stefan is also very involved and concerned to make sure CSers, who travel to Vienna, are bored at absolutely no times.

I was glad to not only have met this active City Ambassador for Vienna, but also to have been "hosted" by him for one evening, Christmas Eve, when there didn't seem to be too many people to celebrate the occasion with. He prepared everything by himself. I also liked his sense of humor. Hope we'll meet again before I leave for Moscow in two weeks.

The first time I met Prost was at his Birthday party in March, then we hang around from time to time and since bout June, extremely often! :D:D
He's just great to hang out with, to have conversations with, he is helpful, etc. Furthermore Prost is a perfect guy to hug! He can break your bones if he wants!! *LoL*...but don't worry, he would hug you with feeling :D
And although he spilled beer on my head, he became a good buudy!! :)

Me and Prost have hung out ALOT since I joined couchsurfing. He is a very dedicated guy and it's always a pleasure to meet him. Stefan has the right spirit for cs. He likes to organize meetings, be it at his place or bbqs at the Donauinsel and those meetings are always great fun. What would the CS-Vienna community be without you?

Stefan was very kind in responding to my last minute request for a place to crash.
He showed me and another sufer some very enjoyable places I'd never have otherwise found.
He also was cool when we bumped into some spanish people and I spent half the night yabbering in spanish to them (sorry 'bout that mate).

Overall he's quite a chilled guy, doing his own thing and easy to hang out with.

We spendes a lot of amazing Time together in Budapest! We partyed, taked, sighted and beered alot, and it was a pleasure to learn to know you better. Stefan is a great Surfer with this ounce of spirit in him what u need as a real Surfer.
Rather we have always when we meet a lot of fun together - but stefan also doesnt understand Serbokroatisch!

From Couchsurfing I knew him and spent some day in Vienna. I was hosted by Stefan. It's really kind of him to accept me as a guest.

Prost Stefan (although I'm not happy to call you that - I told you what it means in Romanian :-) ) is part of the soul of the Viennese CS community, organizer of many events and a good face to see every time, as he will always welcome you with a smile. He is very funny, kind and someone to whom you can always talk to

 

Stefan is a very easy going guy who loves couchsurfing and the couchsurfing comunity as much as I do! I had a wonderful weekend in Viena-thanks to him! We met up with the Viena couchsurfing group and just had a great time with them.

Stefan is a very laid-back and good-natured guy. For me, he is the 'picture book CouchSurfer'.

..and then, there was that person with a free hug sign, one of many, but remarkable :) I don't know stefan that much, really, we only met for a few hours, but what can tell is that he is a good hugger, active activist, and ready to give a hand.. for example when my phone does not work and i NEED to reach a friend.. and yes! would like to put more in this reference as soon as I come back to Vienna :)

Stefan was really nice to us, he allowed us to stay at his apartment for our second night also even though he left! Not to mention his apartment, which is huge and we had a separate room. It was like a Paradise (with also a huge and nice bathroom), thank you very much!

we drove to switzerland together to overcome the CS paella, carried a huge barrel of beer which was needed and spent good times, steff has the reggae groove and this only makes him special already.our path´s will cross on as i really like to meet up with stefan, very easygoing.

Couchsurfing with Stephen was a great experience. He made me feel like I was at home, which has been so nice after being away for two months!

While I was driving to my host in Vienna I got lost and fortunately I found Stefan having a party going! A year later he joined the CouchSurfing Paella 2007 at my place where he was a great help terminating the spare beer :-)

I know Stefan from the Bratislava Meeting and we fixed early enough my stay during the CSC-E in Vienna. With the other couchsurfers we cooked a few times at his place to make him happy, and he makes us happy with house party, a lot of beer and always he cares so much about his guests with a lot of hospitality! Guided me to my first CS-meeting via mobile. Even though he didn't know me. Or because he didn't :) Think he's a very openminded and helpful guy!!

Stephan was a great guide. He took care of me real well while I was in town. We wandered around together, road the rides at Prater, and shared some beers. He made sure I never got lost and gave me tons of "insider" tips. Stephan... thanks again, I had a great time!

A really good bloke...! Stefan showed me and my sisters a great slice of Vienna. We saw the sights, sampled the tastes, enjoyed a great NYE party downtown and made friends really easy. He's so laid back, funny and good to hang out with - it feels like you've known him for ages!

Stefan hosted me for 4 days and during this time he proved to be an excelent host. His place is close to public transport and his knowldge of the city made for a great stay. We saw the city of the day and went to a CS meeting of the night. All in all, had a great time, I would recomend getting to know Stefan.

I visited Stefan's place and met a whole gang of fellow couchsurfers. We went hunting for an open supermarket, but found that we only had to cross the road in the end. We cooked a big meal, had a few laughs and it looks like I'll be there during August.

Cancelling his offer of accommodation on the day I was meant to arrive was a bit of an annoyance, but I just stayed at a hostel instead.

Stefan was a wonderful host during the Collective. He made room for me even though he had more guests than he had room for. He is the couch god.

I showed up unannounced with some other cs'ers after the collective and didn't have a place to stay. Stefan was great and offered to host me! Amazing hospitality and he's a very personable bloke. Friendly and nice. Thanks for everything Stefan!!!

 

Stefan is the Devil of Vienna. He is a very friendly guy, easy-going, laid-back, and has a unique sense of humour. He is always around if it's about partying. You can easily bribe him with a couple of beers. Meet him!

 

The Schweizerhaus... My brother, our best friend and I stayed with Stefan and had two fun nights out with him, one at the Donauinselfest and one at the Schweizerhaus (at the Prater), which was spent drinking too much beer. Staying with Stefan made our time in Vienna way better than it otherwise would have been. Thanks for everything!

stefan was very friendly and helpful in assisting me, he gave me a tour of the city and the nightlife and pointed me in the right direction for my own personal tour.

He slept with a freind of him 4 nights in my flat during the springsix festival. Altough i meet them just at lunchtime (great going out persons :)!) i think that they're very funny guys- hope we meet some time in vienna and drink the "chili-beer"

We surfed with Stefan. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay in Vienna, and Stefan made sure that we ate at authentic restaurants and drank good beer!
