Couch Information
Couch Available: Maybe Preferred Gender: Any No smoking allowed Has children: No Can host children: No Has pets: No Can host pets: No Max Surfers Per Night: 3
Shared Sleeping Surface: Depends Shared Room: DependsWe have three folding-couch, in the living room.
You can either share a couch or sleep in different one...
We are sleeping on separate bedrooms, so the living-room is quite private once we are asleep, but we still need to cross it to go to the bathroom...
I live with a charming young woman, who is actually the one who introduced me to couchsurfing few years ago, back to time we were not living together. You can read my flatmate profile there :
http://www.couchsurfing.org/profile.html?id=2LE2MC0
And, actually, as she spend more time home than I do, you'd have better chance to have a positive answer to your request asking her.
Our flat is quite big by the parisian standard... To be honest, that's because we are not exactly in Paris... But so close that you won't really see the difference, for instance count fifteen minutes from our door to the Champs Elysées using the sub...
We can accomodate a great deal of people for sleeping, but that's actually with bathroom and kitchen that we have a problem when the flat is too crowded... So, one to three people is good... for more, we have to plan it a bit more carefully.
We are not regular smokers, but it happens, so as long as you open the window...
We do have a pet... Murphy is our cat name, and he is well named... he can be as sweet as a teddy bear, but sometimes, he just freaks out, so if you are bit phobic, just tell us before, we'll lock him temporarly in an other room.
If you are traveling with your own pet-friend... maybe it's not a good idea to come here, Murphy is unfortunately less friendly than us with animals...
I'am a bit busy working during the week, sometimes the week-ends too, but i'll do my best to meet you, at least to share a meal with you, and if I have time I'll be happy to show you around! If you are lucky, Amélie will be around a little more than me, and if you are very lucky, she could cook for you, and believe me, she is great at cooking! Friends (14)

How I Participate in CSSharing my couch, my time, and yours if you agree !CouchSurfing ExperienceFew meetings in Paris and Dublin, some really nice guest on my couch in my last flat, some amazing host around Ireland... I haven't been couch-surfing for a while, but our place often looks like an open shelter busy with family, friends, and friend's friends...InterestsLiving is the great one, meeting people, learning always, the rest changes a lot with time, meetings and opportunities...
Lately,I found a job I really love and enjoy, so work is where I spend most of my time and interest...PhilosophyThe glass is neither half-full nor half-empty:
it's twice as big as it needs to be,
just pour some more wine in... :DMusic, Movies, BooksI'm really unable to classify movies i like, thos which make me laugh, make me cry, make me think, make me dream, make me be a child again...
I actually have any taste for music, so i trust people and listen to their music !
I've read a lot, different kind of books, but lately,I must confess I'm mostly reading fantasy, books we published, are working on, or might publish one day...
Types of People I enjoyThose who enjoy life.
Those I can meet really, beyond first impression.
And basically I believe for sure that if you love slow food, good wine, and long chat, we have the best chance to become friend!
Actually, if you are a geek, a workolic, or some other kind of freak, the stats would be nearly as optimistic...Teach, Learn, ShareI'm really keen in learning every kind of things... whatever, actually!

What do these numbers mean?
This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you. References (19)19Positive 0Neutral 0Negative

From Maciej Dyląg Krakow, Poland May 12, 2010 Positive We spent grate time, eating, hanging around, talking together with Celine and Amelie . We had also grate time in one of biggest traffic jams in krakow ever ;-), (there's no better possibility to chat for 2 hours when you are imprisoned in car on highway). See you next time !!
From Mikko Helenius Turku, Finland May 3, 2010 Positive While travelling with my mate Mika in Paris we spend three days at Céline´s & Amélie´s huge apartment.
I met Céline shortly on her break from the work and she was really energetic and nice person. We had a nice chat and it would have been really nice to spend more time chatting with her.
We´re sorry that we ended up in the Paris nightlife so late every night and that we woke you up on arriving to the apartment. :/
I hope you come to Turku to surf on my summer cabin or to the city flat, cause here is always couch ready for you here!
From April Burkhart Costa Mesa, United States Dec 15, 2009 Positive Celine and her roomate Amelie were extremely trusting and generous couch-givers. They had such fascinating topics and shared so many great stories about Paris and of their hometowns. My sister and I had a wonderful time getting to know them and consider ourselves lucky for finding them last minute. We drank lots of wine, ate lots of cheese and talked for many hours! My only regret is not having learned more french while I was there. These ladies definitely have a certain "je ne s'ai quoi".
From FLYINGPOME Flushing, United States Nov 22, 2009 Positive Celine is fabulous. As soon as I met her in her office at work, and saw her desk surrounded by little toys and French sci-fi/fantasy books, I knew we had something in common. She's bubbly, very generous, down to earth, and will make you feel welcome right away. Plus her roommates Amelie and Murphy the cat are completely endearing as well (even when Murphy tries to attack you from over the covers - he just wants to play).
Celine made my trip to Paris a completely wonderful, unforgettable experience. My only regret is that we didn't get to spend more time chatting and eating chinese takeout and beer. She is a lovely person.
From Gabriel Monar Evanston, United States Nov 4, 2009 Positive Celine and her roommate Amelie hosted my friend Andy and me over a busy weekend. Even with baby-showers and work they managed to show us around the city. Celine took us out one day for some extremely tasty salted-butter, caramel ice-cream and a nice walk. Celine is really generous and nice, and, like her roommate Amelie, reads a lot of books so has lots of interesting things to talk about.
From Lear-la Narvaez San Francisco, United States Oct 15, 2009 Positive Hi Celine,
Thank you so much for your hospitality. You completely exceeded our expectations! The girls and I returned from our trip thankful that we were able to stay with such a nice and interesting hostess. I hope you will be able to visit us in America someday soon!
Merci!
Lear-la
From GIUSEPPE1970 Padova, Italy Aug 21, 2008 Positive Laid back, helpful, strong enough to soak in the Atlantic on a windy day (ok, just a little bit) and sooo sweet to compete with her secret recipe of a very "yummy" dessert (uhm .. vanilla ice cream, nuts, caramel ... what else?)
Looking forward to meeting you again, Céline, in Paris or in Padova (you've got a map, so no excuses!)
From Judy OShea Dingle, Ireland (Republic of) Jul 30, 2008 Positive Celine is the perfect French Guest,
She is warm, open minded, respectful adventurous and fun. Look forward to seeing her again.
From GUILLERR Gijon, Spain Jul 30, 2008 Positive Céline established in Galway her base to explore the West of Ireland, so I got accostumed to receive her (and her bagpack) in my couch every few days and enjoy her wonderful cooking, personality and conversations. No traveller could resist her charm, so it was difficult to enter a pub in Galway and not meeting any friend she had known in a hostel, trip or pub session.
I will have to accept she is back home, so we should find an excuse to meet again... a wine tasting tour? Some proper cider? We will see...
From Glentilsoup Coromandel, New Zealand Jul 21, 2008 Positive Celine helped me see French people in a different light.Merci beaucoup!!!
