Corrine Light

 

I met Corrine at a CS meetup last year and then recently hosted her and her brother for a night. Corrine is a very fun, energetic, considerate guest - no trouble at all. We got to hang out and talk quite a lot during their short stay. I know that she's an huge asset to the Tampa group.

She was a lot of fun, and a great person to talk with. If you're in town you gotta meet her. Thanks again.

She was our first guest from CS and it was an awesome experience. I adore her addiction to CS and like her style! I would love to see her again, who knows where lol... I just saw her on "abc action news" and realized how much I missed Corrine.. Cheerz girl!=)

 

Corrine is a very fun person who's been all over the world. I've known her since high school and would love another chance to surf on her couch.

We met via Kevin. She helped us seeing most beautiful places in St. Pete. She is really funny, positive and energetic. Thanks for taking the sepia pictures with the palms in the background, they are awesome :)) Hope to see her again.

I have met Corrine in St Petersburg and she was a really nice girl. She was very helpful with finding things to do in St. Petersburg. It was great to meet her. Hope to see you again.

I have met Corinne at several CS events. She always has a contagious spirit. Her passion for CS and giving to others is evident. She even donated watercolor paints and supplies to my students in Ecuador! Corinne is an asset to the worldwide CS community.

 

I have been spending the past week intending to come up with a unique, non-cliché and incredibly positive reference for Corrine but so far nothing does her justice! She is absolutely amazing! She is the perfect host/tour guide of Saint Petersburg, Florida (the peninsula on a peninsula) and I am very happy to have had the opportunity to meet her. I met her along with my two Turkish guest and when we departed from Saint Petersburg I said to them, "Man, I am so happy to have met Corrine, what a great personality!" My guest's reply, "What? This is your first time meeting her? You two act as if you've known each other for years!" I only spent one day with her so far, but I feel as if we've been friends for a while. She's great and is what the couchsurfing project is about.

Corrine is a ring leader of Tampa Bay CSing- she welcomes everyone in and still has time to bring couchsurfers together and organize our events- an impressive multitasker!

Corrine and I became fast friends at the airport awaiting our flights... She was very easy to talk to and seemed eager to travel the world, share her experiences and generally have a good time. She introduced me to couch surfing.

Corinne is a really nice girl with fresh ideas for everyone to have fun! She came to my house to the 2nd CR Monthly Potluck Party that I was hosting and we had a great time! It has been an honor to meet Corrine, she has been all around the world and taught me a lot of things about life and about myself. She is really really fun to hang out with and for sure my place will seem less interesting after she leaves. Corrine is my Guiding Light in Couchsurfing! As a person she is bubbly and likes to have fun, but she dont take sh*t from anybody! Very smart gal. A very mature person with a sense of adventure, and for that it is worth it to meet her! Corrine is the Ideal Couchsurfing Role Model.

Talked alot on the phone and on CS. She has great taste in sushi, and she sat through a baseball game with me.

Alayne hooked me up with Corrine when I was looking to kill sometime in St. Petes. I joined her for some grub and heard about her travels and future plans.

I had a great time with local CS members at Davids Restraunt it was the best food I ever had and you know we are very lucky to have her she has gone so far out of her way to make CS in Tampa what it is today and I thank her for that

Corrine is great. She is a very welcoming person. Open minded and is always up for a great time. We had an awesome time at the gathering swapping stories about travels, and then went clubbing afterwards. Lets hang again!

 

Corrine is doing such a great job at putting together Tampa meetings. She is very friendly and makes a new person feel very welcome.

Corrine organized a wonderful CouchSurfing meeting in Tampa and all i can say is that is she is an extremly positive asset to CouchSurfing and the Florida CS community itself.

Corrine is Queen Bee! She puts so much effort into bringing CSer's together. Her positive energy puts a smile on every face, really, she can connect with anybody. She is certainly one who dares. Corrine had me laughing all evening!

 

Corrine has been instrumental in organizing meetups that bring together not only local, but statewide and international CS'ers. She is creating a real community. Thanks Corrine!

Corrine was an amazing host to everyone who attended the Tampa meeting at Terra Sur. She's full of energy and kept everyone laughing.

What can I say ? You are totally amazing. You are the best sister and best "Travel Buddy" I could ever ask for. If their is something i need to tell you or if I just need company you are right their to help me out. I am so glad that we have a hobby we both can do. TRAVEL. Its so much fun traveling with you. And I LOVED my road trip to Miami. I cant wait till i turn 15 so we can go on other road trip. Well I think that about wraps it up. No words can describe how much I love you. You are truly the best sister ever!

Corrine welcomed me to the CS dinner meeting she organized, introduced me to everyone, made sure I was having a good time and then forced me to sing Karaoke in some dodgy bar! I forgive her for keeping me up until 3am the same night as she took me to breakfast the next morning, I only hope she forgives me for running off the next day, but it was worth it :p

 

Corrine is a blast. She is an upbeat woman who does alot for the kids and knows alot about CS.

 

Corrine is an aggressive CS event coordinator, promotes CS avidly and is a very expressive story teller; you definitely know when she is in the room.

 

corrine is like the mother hen of the tampa group and anyone else who joins in the fun. i drove from orlando to their dinner event and she took good care of me and everyone else, including the polk county crew. she made sure everyone had a blast and even raised money for children's toys, which we had even more fun shopping for. a true cs ambassador.

 

I got couchtastic vibes from this girl, you can tell she is doing great things with her life. I can't wait see her at the next TAMPA Group meet up. She has great body language

I love her because she loves Asian food ;-). She's such a sweetheart. Fun, bubbly and witty. She exudes so much energy that everytime you hang out with her feels like a party! Im glad to meet her finally as Bastien only have good words for her. Let her do the "thumb trick" if you get to meet her. Oh, and promise I won't do the coffee thing again ;-)

 

This girl is awesome ! I met her at a CS birthday party and within minutes we were friends ! She's very talkative, caring and funny. But she's like a mogwai : if she drinks vodka shots after midnight, watch after your fingers :) Corrine, I really hope seeing you soon !
UPDATE : She invited me for Memorial Day at her place in Florida, and took very good care of me for amazing 4 days.

She put up with some crazy hosting situations where random people ended up staying in my apartment, one even sharing a bed with her. Then she kept up with the continuous NYC partying like an old hand :-) To top all of that she's one of Bastien's oldest CS friends and any good friend of Bastien's is a friend of mine.

Corrine helped me coordinate doing a CS meet at my house - we ended up combining that with my birthday party, making it a very fun birthday! We had a great time, and it wouldn't have been the same without Corrine and the others.

We met at Ed's Party. We had such a fun time breaking first time records for both of us- first time tubing ( that was hilarious), first time jet skiing, first time boating at night by another inexperienced CS'er- "The Evil Kumar"

Corrine was extremely friendly at our first CS meet. She made us feel very comfortable by introducing us to all the CS at the party and we had a great time! She would be a great person to CS with.

Corrine was my very first host and I couldn't be happier with my experience. She dedicated her entire day to making sure I had a good time. We went to a shooting range, watched the sunset on the pier, fed pelicans, and had the best sushi ever. Not to mention she has one of the most comfortable couches on the planet. Even though I only spent a day with Corrine I feel like she is great friend and I would love to visit her again. I would host her in a heart beat.

Corrine hosted me and also two girls at the same time.
She showed us around, take us to dinner, clubs and everything that is worth to see in St. Pete.

I am really bad at meeting new people - - Which is why I really enjoy the idea of couch surfing, it makes meeting new people a lot easier. She was so fun and open though, I never felt uncomfortable or nervous. It felt like I had known her forever! She was awesome, should you get the chance to meet her I am sure you would agree.

Corrine was an astounding host! (Not bad for her first time hosting).

She's kind and definitely more generous than I expected. This will be an experience to remember. She always has another good idea up here sleeve, and even though I was visiting during a very hectic time for her, she still went out of her way to assist on my journeys!

While she was traveling Europe, I decided to meet her in Paris and fell in love with the place. We had a wonderful time and stayed with our host Sylvain for a week. We saw the Eiffel Tower, the Catacombs, Moulin Rouge, Arc de Triomphe, and red light district(wink wink). We also traveled to Barcelona for my xmas present. I had a wonderful time and was so ecstatic to share this with such a great friend. I had a great couchsurfing experience and hope to have many more. Corrine's even crashed on my couch (after partying)and she was the perfect guest, does that count? ;p Love to my secret baguette!

I had a great time hanging out with Corrine during the meeting and the following day. She's very friendly and sincere. I hope to keep in touch with her and maybe see her sometime in the future.

 

We only met briefly, but she seems like a very fun girl! Hope the rest of her travels go well!!

I had a really amazing time with Corrine. We managed have lots of fun in a short space of time but we still did not manage to see the London eye which was part of the agenda. Hopefully, in the future. ;) Corrine is really sociable, makes me laugh and even caring in her own way.

Corrine is a very sweet and social woman who knows how to make fun, which I had a lot with her. She's very independent and caring. I'd really recommend her to anyone who wants to host her.

The circumstances have somehow magically led Corrine to my couch. Despite the fact she inspired a warm atmosphere during her stay, the air became cool and fresh - she was my excuse to finally use the a/c :) Had a great time...Do come again!
