Inti Bertocchi

I met Inti at the monthly meeting. It seems to me a very good and interesting person and I am very courious to know him better!I had a great time with him and the other CS friends in Bologna!

Inti was a real help for me, he hosted me but he also introduced me to others CS, he drived me to see rooms I could rent, and when I was settled he call me to make sure I was ok !
he is a very nice person !

Inti was a phantastic travel-mate. He is a very friendly, respectful and spiritual person. One can learn from him.

 

After we missed in other meeting finally I met Inti in Bologna. It was a surprise for me discovered a passion for one of my favourite country: Russia! we spoke a lot about last his experience there: transiberian! Sorry Inti for late reply!! But all settled now in Australia. Well I travelled with Inti to the wonderful Marmaris in Turkey, he is a polite, thoughtful and intelligient man who I do not hesitate to recommend! oh still remember all that food!

Inti was a great host and welcomed us into his home in Bologna. He took us out for a night to a local Couchsurfing meeting and introduced us to a lot of his friends and acquaintances. He provided a great room for us to sleep in and welcomed us both mornings with fresh coffee and biscuits. He was a warm and friendly host and allowed us our own space and time to experience Bologna.

My sister met Inti few years ago when he was travel in Poland. I met him few months ago during my visit in Bologna and all what I've heard about him is true. He's a nice guy who likes meet and spend time with people. He showed me Bologna and told me about it's history and intersting things worth to be seen. See you in Poland Inti!!!

Inti agreed to host me in last moment. We hadn't knew each other, but from the very begining I felt I can speak with him as with close friend. Inti is open for people and he trying to understand others (and I wish to notice that it succeeded). That is why it is a real pleasure to spend time with him. And when you feel theese delicateness, politeness and attentiveness, you want to do the same, and to become better.
He has done for me ALL what he could do. And it was good example for me of ideal CS host :) I noticed :))).
And thank him very much that he took me in his country house. Not surprising that Inti is as he is, because his parents are wonderful people! His mother is example for me, how to be a perfect wife :) And his father could find common language with everybody!

I met Inti one day in Bologna, and he has left a big sun in me ever since. Also he has shown to be there if you find your self lost. Thank you so much. I do hope to see him more times in my life! :)

Inti is an active Couch Surfer, with lots of travelling experience, he's intelligent, to talk with him gives new ideas and is especially very nice person. He drove me and my friend to our host, my had pizza dinner with some other friends and then we met at another party in Bologna, which I hope was not the last time!

Inti was such a great person to surf with. We had a slight miss communication and I arrived a day earlier than he expected, but he was still more than willing to rearrange his evening for me and my sister. He took us to a wonderful and cheap place for dinner...which we never would have found on our own. He also did everything in his power to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend him...he was a pleasure to be with!

Inti, I am very happy that I met you and I really appreciate your help. It is great to know such a nice, pleasant and positive person. You made my trip to Bologna very nice!!! Now I am thinking all the time of Italy and especially of Bologna. Thank you very much, Inti!!!

 

We meet briefly during my quick night passage in Bologna and he is just wonderful! I couldn't believe how kind and considerate he was to me and different CSers that were there for the Balkan meet.

It`s very rare to meet such kind, humble and helpful person also devoted to CS community... Inti is such a trustworthy and warm person. He offered me and Magda a lot of help and support at the begining of our trip. He also pick us up from the airport to Bologna. I'm really glade to got a chance to meet him.

Inti greeted me and my friends in his flat with delicious spaghetti. Then he had to go for dance lesson but let us stay in his flat and feel comfortable. We had a short chat before going sleep and in the morning during breakfast. He suggested us what we should visit and see in Bologna. My first couchsurfing experience! Such a great introduction to it, Inti was a fabulous host. He was able to host me on such short notice (about 3 hours!!)and there was even a get together with some other CSurfers and his friends later on. thanks Inti!!

i have met him only some times, but i can already see that he is first of all very kind person+friendly and helpful etc. we share the interest of architecture and cityplanning. he has given me good advise for interesting places in bologna and showed me some even if it was night already and he had to go to work next day. looking forward to meet again

I had the plane to go to Edinburgh in the morning, from Bologna. Inti saved me from a bad night in the train, allowing me to arrive to Bologna the day before and stay at his place. It was very enjoyable to talk with him about CS and other active realities. And... I was his second Esperanto-speaker surfer just in a few days :-)

After little time we spent together I can easily say that Inti belongs to the group of people you must trust at first sight! He's so approachable, open-minded and eager to talk to new people. -> As always, when I meet interesting characters, I hope to meet him again.

We still didn't know each other but he opened his house to me at a very-last-minute notice and saved me from a night in the street, so from the very first moment I knew he was a great person, but I didn't know that was just the beginning! Thanks to him I enjoyed nice hospitality, meetings with local people, delicious food, car rides under the rain, veeeeery long talks until dawn, in one word... friendship :) I'm glad I met you!

inti is...just amazing and really kind. I´m impressed how a person could be so nice. He pick us up in the train station before gave us (my father and me) a tour in to the top of a hill, gave us tips where to go and eat together with history of the city AND he took us to marcela´s flat 10km from the center (I fell slept in the way, sorry hehe) and everything with a smile. We only got a chance to meet Inti a few times, but he was still an amazing host because he made arrangements to stay with his parents. His parents were some of the most welcoming, intelligent, insightful, and selfless people i have met in all of my couchsurfing experience. I could have valued my time more than having stayed with them.

 

Inti was my angel in Italy, always taking care of me and worried about my trip. During my time with him, more than a best friend, he made me feel part of his family. Maybe somebody noticed it before: his name suits him veeeeery well :) when I first saw him in the rainy Bologna he was really like a little sun. First of all he hosted me even in the particular personal situation, he gave me his own room and everything I needed (I could make a long long list). All the time he was extremely protective and generous. Who knows, maybe that's why I liked Bologna soooo much :)

I met Inti through his couch surfing host while he visited. We had a great time playing shuffleboard at the local bar. He is a natural pro. Although we had a great time playing the game, I wish he stayed longer so that we could have talked more in a different venue than a noisy bar. Inti: I'll take you up on your offer to come visit!

Inti was a great guest very thankful and so friendly. He has a good vibe about him and is an overall positive person. We had a lot of fun in our short stay and I would love to hang out with him again.... what a great person!!!

Inti met me in the evening and gave me a short tour of Bologna. He showed me the oldest Univeristy in Italy and the a Canal that ran through the city like Venice. He also joined me and other CSers at a bar for drinks afterwards and then hosted me for the night. He was very nice and make my stay very comfortable. Thank you!!

It doesn´t happen very often that I meet so, I mean SO sincerely friendly and emphatetic person like Inti is. Inti is very heplful person, very kind and full of good energy! From the firt moment I felt very safe with him. He prepered for me and my friend fantastic map of the city center wich was better than in guide :) He has taken us for a great dinner in mounatins where was big meeting of hosts from Bologna and also guest in Bologna. I met him during the Loiano Balkan Festival, near Bologna, after saw his profile a lot of time because he is one of the most famous CSurfer in Bologna! We had some nice chats, especially about our planned travels (the one I did, the one he's going to do)! Great time we did, I hope to meet you soon again!

We have stayed in his flat. It was even more comfortable than staying in a 5 star hotel. He was a great host and a very interesting person to talk with. Inti is the best!

 

Inti was the first person who greeted me, and helped me to grow up on CS. He's one of the most polite, sweet and nice person I've ever met. Very active for CS, I hope to be able to help him over and over again to organize crazy meetings!

I met Inti in June 08, but after many months when i asked him a last minute couch favor for a friend of mine, he instantly showed interest to help me out and he did. He is just lovely, kind, friendly, talkative and one of the few people who really believe in CS and its spirit. I really hope to make a strong friendship with this fantastic Bolognese!

First we didn't knew from where came soo much attention and care... But after, when we met with Inti's parents, we understood.

I only stayed with Inti for one night but it was a memorable experience. Inti shared many interesting insights about the city planning of Bologna and we connected easily. Him and his girlfriend are beautiful people and I'm touched that they were so open with me. Inti, I hope you both know that I'm happy to have been able to spend the time talkng to both of you. Inti sent me a text that he could meet for lunch what became a small city tour. What an interesting, kind open person he is. Inti joined us for a film during the slow food festival. He is the guy to talk to when you have questions about Bologna. As city ambassadors I hoped we could meet and we did. Very inspiring. Keep you posted on city surfing.

Inti has been taking care of me from my very first weeks in Bologna, making the town more welcoming to me, he was helping me out every time I was in need,and since it turned out that we were neighbours - I come around every now and then for excellent coffee

Inti is rightly a CS ambassador, able to create connections out of prejudice. Then he like the music as a confirm of the theory... music is communication.

Inti is the soul of the CS group of Bologna and everybody knows he's really a good organizer and a very kind guy!
He's always quiet and smiling and listening to you even if you are a lady!!!

Among other rare qualities, Inti is super-kind, wit, reliable ( & brave enough to come to the concerts I post): you can feel he's able to handle all sort of situations...& he's got plenty of interests too!You cannot miss him, if you are in town :-)

I met Inti sponaniously at the Cesena CS meeting, because he wasnt pre-registered in the Meeting planner, it was a big surprise to found him at the meeting! He is another CS addicted member like me and i hope we will met soon again on another italien CS Meeting again! Cu soon again

Inti is very attentive and polite host. He proposed as a vast cultural program and he adjusted it as it was necessary. He knows architecture and history of his city a lot and he willingly answered to all our questions. Thanks to him met other couchsurfers and had a great time in Bologna. He also looked after our further voyage, having reserved a hotel close by Venice for us.

Inti hosted me in his flat in Bologna 2 different times, and helped me to find other spots. He was very kind, helping me for everything there and we had some interesting discussions about our common passion for environmental friendly planning. It's always a pleasure to meet him.

We just had a short meeting but he seems very kind and helpful.

We met Inti in Bologna and although we just spent a couple of hours together he left an endearing impression on all of us. He introduced us to other CS members in Bologna and we had a Spritz together :) He came across as a warm friendly person and we enjoyed our time in his company

Inti is the 1th person who welcomed me in CS,I apprecied a lot his kindness and help, I met him at Galica ,and I had a very fantastic impression, he is sweet and polite, even if I was very tired for the jet lag and I didn’t talk a lot, anyway I hope to meet him very soon!

A cool mate and a great party organizer!
After had read many things about him on this site, finally we met in person. Don't lose the chance to share his good vibe!

There's something very unique and special about Inti. He's gentle, fun, fascinating, and generous. I'd like to get to know him more because I have a feeling that the above list of his excellent qualities just barely scratches the surface. He's also a very good dancer!

We had some short meetings in Lviv and spent a really good time :) Inti is very sociable person and SO enthusiastic! He had time for his job with questioning and also for our city discovering :) Hope it was not the last our meeting and we will meet again, maybe in Bolognia? ;)

 

Inti ... need I say more?! A unique name (at least here in Italy/Europe) for a unique fella! He's kind, polite, humble, plenty of resources and has a knack in managing meetings & people ... meet him and you'll get your chance to expand your friendship worldwide!

Inti does his ambassador role very well as he is always there to help out new couchsurfers!! We finally met after many mail and we had the chance to know more about each other. Very pleasant to talk to and spend time with.

Inti is a perfect ambassador! He can show you the most beautiful places of Bologna, and you can spend your timewith him really pleasantly.
If you come to Bologna you have absolutely to meet them, he is really good persons and precious friend.
Inti is also a good fellow traveller..we crossed all the Balkans togheter, and i'm sure it's just the beginning! During less than 10 days we have lived together a lot of experiences, met many friends, tried tastes, visited beautiful places, leaving pieces of our hearts on the road to Istanbul! I agree with him, the most important discovery during this travel was our friendship.

Inti is amazing!! If he wasn't personally taking me and my friends around Bologna, he was readily available via SMS for assistance!! Inti is really a nice person, you can always have a pretty conversation with him. He has a good heart, surely wants the best for the people he meets and trys to make the world a better place - we met at a international workcamp on racism and xenophobia, a great experiance and extremely interesting work we did there. He was part of it, I'm thankful for that, hope to meet him again.

what could I say, Inti is simply one of my best friend. Always friendly and positive. We spent one year in Finland studying during the Erasmus university program. I don't know anyone else who is more open minded than him. Ciao Inti!!!

It was a great experience to host Inti. Not only it was fun to hangout, chat but also another cultural learning experience: i finally got to see the Italian trick of cooking pasta "the right" way :)

Inti is a great person. I met him in his town, Bologna. Starting from his eyes, so attentive and smiling, you can already understand a bit of his personality. Inti is very open to people and ready to help people. He never quits to be helpful and to work hard to improve our world. Inti organized the Bologna CS meeting during the street parade "Par Tot" creating by himself a real MOVING COUCH, adding to it wheels, so to push the couch on the streets to promote www.couchsurfing.com. That was a totally umbelievable and crazy idea, but he made it real! I must knee and express my respect, gratitude and simpathy to a person who was able to do such a thing.

 

Inti is the perfect CS organizer! :) He is always ready to help and he collected a wonderful CS group and a surfing couch for the most crazy parade that I ever seen in Italy! I'm so glad to have met him and I hope to meet again in the future all the nice Bologna's surfers many times!

May '07 -- This must be why everyone recommends couchsurfing - Inti was the perfect example of a CS host!! He picked me and my mom up from the train station, we had a fantastic true Italian experience with his family in the countryside - fresh wine, amazing pasta, delicious limoncello, and great conversations with his mom, dad, neighbor, cousin. Then we experienced the Bologna nightlife the next night. It was just a pleasure to get to know him, his amazing family and his girlfriend. Cannot wait for them to come visit us in Los Angeles and Florida. =)

UPDATE -- Jan '09 -- Inti visited me in Florida and our reunion was a fabulous time filled with food, shuffleboard, revelry, friends, river tours, lots of gators and manatees! Can't wait for our next adventure! :)

UPDATE 2009: It was as if no time had gone by!! We had yet another amazing CS weekend, Inti hosted me in Bologna again, and this time also in his parents' gorgeous house in the countryside. I met some more of the local CS community and I was sad to have to leave!! I jokingly said I'll see him in 2 years again; hopefully it will be sooner :)

2007: Inti was the ideal host. Very accomodating and flexible. He even brought me to the airport!! He helped organise an amazing meeting in Bologna and made me sorry to have to leave the city! He´s a very good friend with a big heart. I left a book with him as an excuse for me to be able to go back ;)

Inti is very friendly and talkative - he really embodies the CS spirit. We are both waiting for being CS ambassadors and since our cities are pretty close we'll surely have plenty of occasions to organize CS gatherings and give help to new members and travellers . See you in London : )

Inti only had a day & a bit in London, but we manage to do some sightseeing, art & culture tour in East London and party. He is fun, easygoing and good with conversations. A lovely guest, don't work too hard.

He introduced me to CS! For this I am extremely thankful. :) He is very friendly and warm, very inviting and open.

 

Inti is a very kind man, who has a warmth and generosity that is very hard to find in a person. He hosted me while I had a couple of people cancel on me, and I greatly appreciated his understanding. The world could use more people like Inti!
