Say what! He is a good person, intelligent and very likeable. It's very easy talk with him. Certainly I will come back to visit him and his mother that is the best one of the Abruzzi National Park..bye Anto...your friend Riccardo

 

Antonello is a great host. Very friendly, funny and easy going. He was kind enough to take myself and the other volunteers on some excursions around the countryside and out to dinner and gelato!

Antonello is a wonderful, loving passionate guy who's always willing to listen to your story. I volunteered at Italyfarmstay and had the pleasure of hanging out with him everyday in such an incredibly beautiful place full of inspiring people like Antonello. He has a contagious energetic spirit and he's such a joy to be around. I'm lucky and happy to have met him :)

 

I stayed at Antonello's more rustic farm, the eco-village, but also did work at his Italy Farm Stay. He was such an impressive person - he works so hard, all the time, with total dedication, but is at the same time so warm and so generous. I wish I had had more time with him, but I stayed only a short time, and we were all busy. I loved his whole family, and I hope I was some help while I was there!

 

I met him thanks to Radu, Hilary and Courtney, three other CS'ers and volouteers who worked with him at his farm. I love what he managed to build, I would have never expected to find such a beautiful and peaceful place in the middle of Italy. Thanks for all Antonello, keep it up!

It's always hard to write a reference for someone that you start knowing more and more. Antonello definitely is wonderful person whom I am happy to meet and who is a hidden treasure. I had so much fun in his farm with him, his family, other volunteers and guests. He and his family made me feel as at home and I consider them to be my italian family that I felt in love with :)

 

He is wonderfull person, very quiet and with a good sense of humor, my family love him... I hope visit your farm soon.

To celebrate the beauty of nature - this was the motto Antonello chose for the 2008 CS summercamp in Pescosolido. I liked this idea and was surprised by all the energy he put into organizing this meeting. He is a busy bee, trying to help everybody. Sometimes I would have wished he slow down a little to take a rest and enjoy himself, too.

Antonello...I think everything is written about him, Giuseppe and the farm. I spent nearly 3 weeks at Italy Farmstay and it was a very interesting experience for me. Antonello is a relaxed, smart guy with lots of good energy. I enjoyed it very much working with him at talking about his upcoming projects. The world would be a better one, if there were more Antonellos and Giuseppes ;-) The farm is a good place to meet travellers, relax, enjoy the nature and be a part of a community. If everything is working out, I will start also a project on his farm next year. I definitly recommend to stay at the farm.

I was on his farm for...5 days? In accordance of a summer camp. Absolutely amazing experience. I will never forget it. We were a group of about 30 persons. Antonello lead us into the national park where we were greeting the bear, bathing in an icecold waterfall... We baked pizza together with his father... Ate fruit, vegetables and driank wine from his garden... An unforgettable hospitality. Thank you very much, hope to see you again!

Aaaaahhh Antonello, the great big organizer of RSC. He did a great job; and I really enjoyed staying at his farm and talking to him on the few occasions that i actually managed to catch him before running of to do something else.

I worked as volonteer on Antonello's farm during almost 3 weeks.
It's was a great experience for me to leave in these conditions, enjoying every single minute of the beauty and the peace of the place.

Antonello has so much energy! He organised the camp, was our gide in the national park and in the evening he still had energy to dance! And he's really fun and friendly. I was happy to meet him :)

Antonello's farm was beautiful and a relaxing break from the exhaustion of traveling :) It was so great to meet you and I hope to be back to the farm some day!

 

Antonello is a charming, intelligent, funny, creative dreamer. He is truly one of the most extraordinary people I have met.

 

I volunteered on the farm and checked out a Couch Surfing meeting in Pistoia with two other volunteers, Jessie and Hannah. Antonello is full of energy and always willing to introduce people to quirky Italian phrases. He will then break out into an analysis of literature, and talk about Shakespeare, Wilde and Joyce :) His family was wonderful and open-minded and it was a pleasure to work with them.

I volunteered on his farm, and went to Ischia with him and another volunteer for a couple of days. Antonello is very enthusiastic, inventive, and exciting to be around. He is full of a thousand ideas and plans and will probably make them all happen. I so enjoyed getting to know him, his farm and his family, as well as all the neat people he attracts to come stay with him. I hope it is not too long 'till we meet again!

He was the person who first told me about couchsurfing so it's actually his "fault" that i've become addicted to it :-)) His farm is a little heaven on earth - I've spent there 2 beautiful weeks and keep thinking of this experience ever since i left. Even if my arrival at the farm wasn't easy - I missed almost all the buses then got off at the wrong bus stop and got to Pescosolido around midnight :-)) - still he welcomed me with a huge smile on his face:-)) If there was an upper degree than "extremely positive" i would definitely give it to him - can't wait to see him again and give him a HUGE hug!!!!!!! What a dynamic person!! Antonello is always busy doing something...interesting, fun, crazy, exciting...and always including his guests in on the fun. I stayed and helped at his place when the farmstay was still young--it was great then and I know the excitement continues :-)

My girlfriend and I spent 10 wonderful days working on Antonello's farm. He is an inspiring person, a visionary and an excellent host. If I return to Italy I plan to go back to his farm to spend time with his family whose company was much enjoyed.

I stayed on his farm as a volunteer with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it! It wasnt couchsurfing but it was probably better!

I stayed at Antonellos farm for five weeks. Everyday was fabulous. Antonello is warm, original and funny. I hope we can meet again. Any couch surfer will undoubtedly feel really lucky to stay with Antonello, or host him in their home.

I stayed with Antonello on his farm in Easter 2007. I really enjoyed my time on his farm and in the beautiful countryside and places around it. I learnt a great deal from this trip about farm work, Italian culture and language. I also gained a lot of self confidence as it was my first solo travel experience. It was a great experience and I hope to return again one day! Antonello is a very funny guy and also very good at giving advice and listoning. He is very interesting and rather crazy in some ways!

I understood that couchsurfing can change my life in the meeting organizzed by him! He is also very funny guy :)

 

Antonello, a brother I did not know to have. I’ve always been eager to meet Antonello, because he is so active in CS and because he manages an unique and interesting farmstay. After exchanging many messages, finally the occasion arrived when he kindly invited me to stay for a couple of days in his house. Already from the exchanged emails I could imagine Antonello’s generousity and warmth, but when we met personally, I had the confirmation of my sensations. Antonello was very kind and welcoming with me, opening his world and his house and sharing his experiences and way of living and thinking. I admire his example, how he manages his farm and his life, how he deals with guests and his passion for nature and agriculture. Antonello is a mix of a hard worker and an utopistic dreamer in the same body. Something unique!
From staying with Antonello, altough for only 3 days, I learnt a lot not only about him, but his example helped me as well to understand better what I am looking for in my life. Thanks a lot Antonello!

It's almost 2 years I know Antonello now, thanks to CS, and since then we meet pretty often either at his place in Pescosolido or in Rome or somewhere else. I helped him organizing the first camp at his place and plan to do the same for the next year. See you very soon!

We kept in touch before the camp for some stuff related to the website...and than we met personally in Pescosolido. He's a very nice person, very friendly, having care about people around....being sure they are having fun. I think that he organized something great, and many people should thank him for all he made. I hope to meet him soon, maybe in another context or in the next camp, i'm sure...it will be great!!!

WOW...Antonello organized a really great camp in Pescosolido in the mountains between Lazio and Abruzzo region...
We had a great time there and he was the craziest of all!
He could walk on the mountain at a speed which was unbelevable to our eyes...climb on the trees and "greet the bear" as nobody else can do. Thumbs up to Antonello and looking forward to the next meeting..hopefully with some water to wash our face and bodies next time!

I stayed on Antonello's farm this summer. He was a really great host and I definitely will be going back!! I'm excited about the Rome Summer Camp that I am helping him to organzie this weekend in Pescosolido!

I went to a camping event that Antonello organised near his farm. He was a brilliant host and showed all a side of Italy (the outdoors) that I hadn't really seen before. He's so friendly and hospitable and about 90% sane and 10% crazy which I think is perfect. Don't miss the chance to meet him or visit his farm!

I stayed at antonello's farm for two weeks and had a great time. I lived in a beautiful place with felicita, all the great goats and lots of gelato, which is the best I've ever had.

I have only been here afew days ..but the place is beautiful ..peaceful, scenic and the people are sincere and very welcoming. Have even started learning italiano! I have been hiking in the gorge ..it was exciting and surreal at the same time ..being so close to mountains, lakes ..Antonello is a very kind and interesting person, im lucky to have met him and had the chance to stay with him at his farm

I stayed with Antonello for a while on his farm. We had a great time together, one of the most beautiful times of my life. We eat a lot of fruit, we go hiking, swimming in the lake, learning italian, or a nice walk to the waterfall. Antonello is a great guy. It was a pleasure to spend time with him on his farm and in Ischia. He's a very interesting guy.

 

Antonello was my first couchsurfing experience, and it was remarkable! Antonello is warm, welcoming and witty, with ambitions that inspire! He took us hiking and gave us a tour of the local haunted house and farm animals and town. His parents are just darling, and his mom prepared Delicious food for us, and took the time to show us how to make homemade pasta and pizza! Che bueno!

A friend of mine and I stayed for two weeks at his wonderful farm. He showed us so many interesting places in his area. I loved the deep conversation about politic, philosophy, own experiences......and I always enjoyed his funny, crazy travel stories. He is a great guy. I could learn a lot of him. It was a nice pleasure to meet him. I am sure we will see us again!

Antonello and I have a lot of connection. I mean we hosted usually the same traveller, I was one of the member of his 1st CS meeting in wonderfull Pescosolido, he has been hosted from Estasy, a god friend of mine for a night, we spent a nice night with Hannan and other friends of mine on Sperlonga beach and for sure we will meet again several time.
He is really smart and nice and I deeply trust this guy

 

I planned to stay at the farm with Antonello, but -- all my fault -- I never managed to get there, even after several messages back and forth promising that I would arrive at this or that time. Antonello was forever patient with me, never growing frustrated; a gentleman, he is.

 

I had the chance to met Antonello at the summer camp, we had long talks about many things, common guests, it's funny to discover that, and also about his farm, etc... He's really a very big supporter of hospitality exchange and environment related themes. You can trust this nice guy for sure. I hope to met him again soon!

 

I wanted to host Antonello at Mumbai, but he was such a charismatic personality, that there were so many to host him. I met him with other Mumbai CS members. Would have loved to spend more time with him

Lost w/ out him... First off, Antonello has very straight legs. I learned this while he was wearing very short shorts. I also learned that he likes to ask for directions, usually to other moving cars or people that look to be about 100 years old. We picked fungi (mushrooms) together, frolicked in fields, conqured mountains, ate rabbit, argued, laughed, made fires, and hundreds of other memories that I will never forget. I am looking forward to see what are next meeting holds.

anton is a great person with an amazing sense of humour with an italian accent which was difficult for me to grasp initially but the more we spoke the better it got.we spent a whole day lazing around juhu and i just loved his company.i will work on his farm someday

Don't forget to ask about the lake. Antonello's place shouldn't be missed. You'll feel so much at home there that you won't want to leave. I went for a weekend and stayed two weeks! Eat some yummy gelato, sample the homegrown wine, and swim in the icy lake before it dissapears! Seriously, visit him and tell him I said hello!

It was such a surreal experience to finally be 'The Host' after the CSing kindness that I was given on my travels..

So while my head was still in the clouds I was able to take Antonello along Australia's beautiful coastline - The Great Ocean Road.

We went to the Melbourne Museum and Antonello spent New Years Eve with my family and me enjoying a BBQ in the hot evening and watching the fireworks on Geelong's Waterfront..

He is a kind and trustworthy person, that my little nephews took a shining too.

Had an experience of a lifetime. Spent just 4 nights, 5 days, but experienced more in that time than some do in a lifetime. Real Italian country living, from hiking to cooking homegrown food to feeding farm animals. Fell in love with the mountains and Sora. Antonello and his family are extremely warm and wonderful people. I would recommend anyone who can, to stay with him.

My friend. Antonello had a great idea, it is adventure tourism, farm house, enjoy life in all its different aspects from food to nature and culture - a great alternative to people who want to enjoy our amazing culture.

a wonderful host! i had a wonderful stay at antonello's farm! he was a great host with plenty of funny stories to tell and he made sure all his guests were having a good time. plus, he'll school you on all the charms of the typical italian man.

I can vouch for his craziness... Antonello kicks ass. I always have a good time hanging out with him. Anyone who is going to Europe should go visit his farm to see another side of Italy you would otherwise never see. While you're there you will feel like you've lived there your whole life. He is a very enthusiastic tourguide and likes to have fun and go swimming in strange places. Boring people should probably stay away unless they're ready to be unboring.

We met during summer camp in Sabaudia. We chatted a lot about our passion of organic agriculture and nature. He is a guy that really trusts on his job and about the possibility of a new world based on the respect for nature, is really interesting chat with him, because is fool of original ideas and active proposals!

Dude, Where's my pizza? Antonello is the kind of a guest i enjoy staying with. He's optimistic, generous, open-minded. He's into learning local cultures and give respect to that. Very interesting person.
