Desirée Rodriguez Martinez 33, Female Oviedo, Asturias (Principality of) Spain Friends since October 1999 "I know him veery well" Friendship Type: Best Friend 30+
Don't really know what to say here, as I don't think I know myself very well, but I'll try.
I'm a sociable, not always extrovert person. I really love art, music, daysleeping and going out at night. I'm a professional beer drinker. I procrastinate.
I try to make creative photography. I play drums reasonably well. I'm a graphic & web designer availiable for freelancing, by the way.
How I Participate in CS
I'm a new CS user, and for now I offer couch in Oviedo and expect to be couched elsewhere and exchange personal experiences about travelling and visiting new countries.
CouchSurfing Experience
Hosted & surfed a couple of times. Looking forward for more.
The main concept is reaching intensity in life. Things I do for that: travelling and going out. Not much, but still...

This summary is not a replacement for reading references; it's a quick summary to help you get started. At a glance, you can see how many references a member has, and how many of them are positive, neutral, and negative.
In the second line, you'll see how many references came from people who hosted this member, surfed with them, and traveled with them. These numbers won't always add up to the total: some references are not categorized, and some may be categorized as more than one thing.
When viewing this summary, don't jump to conclusions! Things that are negative for one person may be positive for another, and vice versa. It's important to read references carefully and evaluate what that information means to you.
Spending three days with Desirée and Javier was awesome! My friend Nena and I were very lucky to experience typical spanish dinner and afterwards the combination of wine, chocolate and good music! There's nothing left to say but find out yourselves!
Javier and Desiree are quite possibly the two nicest people in all of Spain. They are open and generous and incredibly entertaining to top it off. We drank lots of wine and talked about music and language. They even drank warm sidra with us at night, just so we could try it. You're very lucky if Javier and Desiree open their home up to you.
Javi is a very cheerful, easy-going guy.
We had some major discussions about very serious topics and a very nasty whisky drinking challenge as well. I'd say he is efficient partner for both ;)
Also, he and Desiree make some really good Spanish food and tell actually how to do it. Very useful when one wants a bit of sunny Spain in the middle of winter.
Definitely worth hosting!
