Jeroen Geerdink

 

Jeroen hosted me at his lovely place in Utrecht. He is a great host and makes you feel welcome from the very first moment on. Even if we hadn't so much time together, we had some great talks and i hope i have the chance to learn more about your ideas! Thank you so much, i hope we'll meet again!

I wanted to stay with him longer just to see if he actually has any fault. He is the man, I envy his humor, wide knowledge of everything and... his extremely light house with big windows!! yeah!

furthermore he has to go often to visit eastern countries for work.... hard life

I know that whatever I write here he will deny and say it has never happened, or it is not his influence, but the truth is that...
Jeroen's energetic approach to life encouraged me to become more active in Warsaw community (and also generally in my life, but shhhhh that is a secret ;) and pushed me out my house to start doing things for the Varsovians ;D Thx a lot for being who you are and being true to yourself (even at times when I do not catch your jokes ;)!

Jeroen is an exceptional guy who is very openminded, cheerful, optimistic and creative. his motivating and inspiring self encouraged me to get involved in CS events. i hope the world has more personalities like Jeroen because such people make even a rainy day seem bright :)

Well, Jeroen is a really great guy, who is pretty good organizer and he convinces other ppl to organize and take part in the events, he's open for others, happy to talk to you (or at least he pretends well ;) best salsa dancer I've danced with so far, he flirts and dalies a lot :) I vouch for him (though I can't do it in a proper way yet)
oh, and I love his hats :)

 

Jeroen is an excellent organizer. We had a couple of trips together, and he carefully took care of almost everything, leaving us the task to enjoy the ride :) Always polite and friendly, a great person to be with.

Jeroen has been really helpful during my first days in Warsaw. He has the typical Dutch charceteristics like having crude humour, enjoying games and being direct and openminded. He combines that with a kind of non-Dutch 'open door policy' for his flat.
Great to hang out with!

Jeroen is a very sociable person, a grat organizer and always brings some really positive Dutch;) energy into every meeting.

Jeroen is a fantastic guy! The evenings we spent together in Warsaw were really nice. He is a great organizer and "entertainer". Open, fun and kicking ass in Carcassone (so we're even - I am Ligretto girl, you're Carcassone guy ;) ). Anyway, you for sure will not get bored with Jeroen :)

Oh, and I almost forgot - he has a fantastic hat!

Jeroen is a gentleman, well educated, good mood all the time and very interesting for conversations. We couldn't share too much time but the time during the dinner in Brandee's house was very nice. I am sure that we will see each other very soon, we have pending salsa classes no matter where!!!!!

 

I don't know him much but he seems to be an open minded, friendly guy with a drive to organize things, meet people, exchange ideas and share good time. He's got a salsa potential;)

 

I am so glad that Jeroen was able to make the trip up to my place in Coral Springs for dinner while he was in Florida. We had a very enjoyable evening talking with the other guests, as well as being interviewed by a TV news crew who was doing a story about CS. He brought some really fun card games that I was looking forward to playing, but we did not have enough time.

Jeroen was only able to surf with me for one night, however I found him to be very interesting, funny and intelligent. He was a great guest, neat, organized, and willing to pitch in wherever needed. I would be happy to have him surf with me again. Take care my friend!

He organized two CS meetings and both of them were great.

Great guy and party's maker. I think his head is full of ideas for spending time so you will not be bored with him.

Jeroen is a great person, as we say in Polish "złoty człowiek" :-)He brought so much positive energy and ideas to our Warsaw group, not mentioning some great Dutch traditions:-)Thanks for being very patient games teacher and very creative salsa partner!!!

 

Jeroen is the Game Master, as anyone who went to his wonderful Murder Mystery 'Casino Fatale' can tell you. He knows how to "make a lot of dough" as well. A very welcome addition to the Warsaw CS scene. Here's to the next party, Jeroen!

Twice now have I been present at events set at Jeroen's place, and both times he hosted a great party. Jeroen is a very pleasant guy at Utrecht's monthly meetings aswell.

He hostes the roleplaying game Casino Fatale at his wonderfull house.
I really can tell, that he is a great host and it was awesome to play together with all those people.

This friendly, lovely and relaxed dutch gentleman let me surf his couch for two nights. He also turned his house into a Casino for second night and hosted it like a professional. You'll like this guy right away, or at least I did :)

Jeroen's house has been the place of many unforgettable meetings (and an unfortunate headache :P )! He is always happy to open up his house to host cs events and people. He is a great and funny person with a lovely scottish accent!

 

Great person for any kind of travel - good sense of humour, easygoing personality and easy way to make a friendship - that's the truth about Jeroen.
He spent a few nights at Lodz and I have to admit that I would like to host him again.

Jeroen is a perfect Couchsurfer and a real good sports. He accompanied us to a smaller-scale performing arts theatre play (written and played by an aquaintance of ours) even though we didn´t know what to expect whatsoever. It was quite an experience which we were able to share :-).

 

I didn't plan to stay that long, but I ended up with two extra nights at Jeroen's place ... which is not surprising at all as he really made me feel at home.
Jeroen's easy going, a lot of fun to hang out with, all around good guy and actually not that easy to describe - you simply have to get to know him (and you definitely should).
tip: don't deny the offer of him making pancakes for you ;o)

Although we havn't even sent a whole day in Utrecht thanks to Jeroen and his friends I definitely won't forget my stay there. He is a really really great host, I felt really welcomed at his place from the first moment simply great to hang out with him and don't belive him when he says he doesn't like to pretend as mother duck, because he is a very caring host.;) I promise next time I stay longer, but till then come to Hungary!:)

He is very, very nice person! We had really nice time in Utrecht thanks to him. He is perfect host, very friendly and hospitable person! And hopefully I convinsed him to come to Kiev one day :)) So see you there!

Jeroen was a wonderful host. I met him the night before at a couchsurfing gathering and mentioned I didn't have a place to stay and he offered his place to me. I would definitely contact him when I come back to the Netherlands!!! :)

We had a great time - no matter it´s about playing frisbee, chatting, having a beer or playing "Settlers" in the parc - there is no doubt that Jeroen is a perfect company.

Such a nice and easy-going person! Jeroen is perfect for long and interesting conversations as well as opulent brunches with a huge lot of couchsurfers at his house. Thanks a lot for all that!

I surfed at Jeroen for one night. He is a generous and nice person in despite of me burning the bread ;)

He is a lovely host, with a passion for salsa dancing (not merengue ..hehe), scouting, and traveling. He's very nice to chat with and always has a smile!

 

Jeroen is realy kind and humorous character, a very active and supporting member within CS Utrecht. He hosted a hundred of CS members in his house during the Midsummernight weekend! Well, about a hundred anyway, thanks for having us!

Jeroen kicks my ass on the squash court but I still like him. He's very hospitable; I surfed his couch, borrowed his bike, used his shower, ate his food.. And he's a cool and easygoing guy. Too bad he wanted to fool me into believing he has trown a trunk in Scotland - no pictures, didn't happen ;)

He was a nice guy. He was kind enough to think I was dutch! (until he heard me speak)

He let all the Midsummer night couchsurfers brunching at his house and playing games afterwards. Didn't spoke with him a lot, but he seems to be a nice guy. :-)

Jeroen is a gentleman. He's fun(ny) too. You can laugh, talk, dance with him and have a good time! Also, he is a great host, with a cheap bakery nearby :)

Great guy, who loves to play games and watch stupid movies like: Alvin and the Chipmunks.
When Dieuwke and I were at his place, we used all of his hospitality. We ate his pancakes, we messed up his apartment, and when he wants to go to sleep we wouldn't leave, he accepted that, and even cycled me a bit home! Wow ;-)

Jeroen is one of the Utrecht meeting regulars and he should keep it that way! Always happy for a nice conversation including studies to the origins of feta cheese. See you next time!

 

This guy has a very unexpected sense of humour. I met him on a lot of meetings allready, always had a lot of fun with him and can assure this guy is really trustworthy.

I met Jeroen at a pub during QueensNight celebrations. His Polish pronunciation is so impressive that he made me think he's a Pole at first ;)! A really nice guy :) Hope to meet you again somewhere in the CS world ;)

 

Ha, I think we are very different, in which case opposites can have a great fun time together! Well I don't think we're opposites at all, and my impression, however brief, was of a good-spirited honest and smiling guy on a motorbike. Wouldn't mind at all if our paths cross again.

 

Had a great conversation for a while at the wonderful Cafe DuLac! Cool guy, pretty intense energy about him.

Jeroen was my first couchsurfer who hosted me. He is great host, open minded person with sense of humour, swell chef.

I was in Netherlands with my friend and it was ours best time in abroad ever.

We never forget how we was playing game with him and his friend Tim or time when we was just walking around beautiful city Utrecht.

I hope that we'll meet again.

 

Jeroen and I met at the Amsterdam weekly meeting. I needed a couch and he immediately offered me to stay at his place. It was a great couchsurfing experience, which started running to catch the train and it finished (so far) at a CS birthday party. Sure, I'll meet Jeroen in the future, looking forward to that. I would recommend this extremely active dutch mate to anyone! He has countless hobbies and is great on skirt... hahahaha!
I've shared hundreds of hours with him.

Maybe a bit quiet at first.. but Jeroen is really nice. met at a few couchsurfing meetings, then we happened to be in the same dance course..
and went dancing, we have to do that again soon!
If you ever feel like eating pancakes, this is the guy you should go to! :)

Jeroen is very social and likes to share his experiences of living in Glasgow, I hope to continue the discussion in a not too distant future.

Awesome bloke who makes me remember all those great times I had in Glasgow, Scotland :) Definitely a cool guy to be around although he seems to enjoy coke(the soda) more than beer ^_^ Can't wait to meet up again!

 

I know Jeroen since secondary school, we traveled together to many places, and we hang out a lot in the Netherlands as well.
So, yeah, I guess he's quite alright :)

it's so fun from the trekking, the photo session, the lunch (thanks for the bread),
it's also funny since when I first met him, I wasn't sure due to his yellow duck hat :-P though we smiled to one another

Budapest, winter, snowfall. We met and spent some two hours together. Jeroen is just like Dutch people in general: VERY nice and smiling. I like his attitude to life. Very much looking forward to see him in Utrecht next year.

Very nice guy, it was pleasure to spend a day with him and his friend. Interesting conversation, relaxed atmosphere, good connection!

 

Jeroen was introduced to me and CS by Emre, and ever since he has been showing up at meetings. He is really funny, he always makes me laugh and feel good about myself. He always gets a hug from me when we meet.
