Jesse & Erin are both very laid back and easy going people, which made this a good couch surfing experience. Jesse is also clearly a very active couch surfer so we had the privilege of meeting loads of different people. We were able to see lots of Boston as they live in a great location! Definately stay with these guys if you ever go to Boston.

Jesse and Erin were kind and hosted me on a tight last minute situation. I feel really grateful that they fit me into their busy lives - both work long hours. Jesse and Erin were fabulous hosts! Very friendly, accommodating, and social. They introduced me to some friends, showed me some local bars, and overall just made my stay very comfortable and worry-free. You'll have a great experience if you stay with them.

It was great to couchsurf at Jesse and Erin's. They live in a very nice area. Erin took me and another couchsurfer to a bar for a her friend's birthday. Then we went to stand up comedy which was something i had never been to before! It was a really fun night hanging out with her friends!! the next night Jesse and Erin took us to karaoke..another fun night. so basically I had a really good time. Jesse and Erin are great hosts! :)

Jesse and Erin were wonderful hosts, making me feel very welcome in their home and bringing me out to meet their friends at a local karaoke bar.....but we won't discuss what happened in the bathroom at the bar nor how we got home that night...nudge nudge wink wink.

We were roommates in Albany for a weekend and had had an amazing time drinking beers, hanging out in the park, and partying! I'll have to come hang out with him in Boston!

 

Jesse was very calm and friendly. He is very curious about places to visit for his honeymoon. He is easy going and really made me feel comfortable in his home. His fiancee, Erin, is very sweet and welcoming as well.

My friends and I enjoyed very much our stay at Jesse's. He is a very relaxed and easy going person, who is really interested in getting to know people. He made our stay in Boston very special by taking us out for dinner and to a local couch surfing party.

Jesse was my amazing host in Boston. He was so nice to welcome us in the middle of the night and take us to his wonderful couch. He took us out for dinner and to a great CS party. We had lots of fun and Jesse is a great guy!

 

Jesse is a stellar dude, it was great having him along for the Nor'Easter. He knows how to have a good time, whether its a house party, a concert in a park, or a beirgarten...good times! I definitely hope to see him again in the future, whether he surfs me, or I surf him...rock on man!

 

I met Jesse out of the blue while hosting a CS'er. When I met him he seemed to be escorting a mini UN delegation around Boston, pretty funny. We went to a place I'd recommended that was in the area and everyone ended having a great time with good drinks, food and most importantly good conversations. Jesse projects a down to earth and approachable image. As either a host of a surfer I am confident he'll be easy to get along with and find shared mutual ground for lively discussions. In all, I look forward to meeting up with him again in the not distant future. Safe travels Jesse!

This guy is really awesome! Very, very, very cool and funny too. Very laid back, and together with his girlfriend Erin, I felt very comfortable at his place! And when I heard about his contributions to the CS community, I became a big fan of Jesse...

My friend and I surfed for a day at Jesse's place. We got the chance to sleep on his comfy couch + go out with him; mexican restaurant, fun bar, breakfast restaurant with jazz music!

Jesse was an awesome host! We walked for hours around Boston just chatting and seeing the sights. Then we went to hang with his friends and the ICA for the Shepard Fairey exhibit. I would definitely surf with him again and can't wait till he comes down to Providence or NYC so I can return the hospitality.

Jesse is a nice guy. It's evident that he's sociable as other csrs surfed his couch the day my friend and I came.

Jesse and Erin were the first hosts that we have during our USA trip. They were really nice and incredibly kind to us. they gave us everthing that foreign people can need. So, they are definitely one of the best hosts in Boston. Also, they tried Turkish Coffee, I hope they ll drink again one day. I was going to forget Tacos. They made us TACOs...It was so kind. Anyway, Hope we ll see you again...*^^*

 

I had a spare Red Sox ticket and Jesse was up for joining me. We had an awesome time, despite the fact that both my Mets and Jets lost horribly that day. I was too drunk to keep track of all the food and beer he bought for me. I definitely look forward to meeting up with him in the future!

Absolutely brilliant! Very intelligent, eloquent and charming, Jesse was the perfect host during my time in Boston who didn't just offer me a place to stay, but also cooked some fabulous meals, showed me around his area, introduced me to his friends and had some wonderful conversations with me! Yeah, much more than a weary traveller could have asked for :) I also enjoyed the very warm and wonderful Erin who made me feel perfectly at home and let me have the opportunity to finally do what I have been waiting to do for a very long time! Besides being one of the forces behind CS, Jesse's a great host and an awesome guy. He's super easy-going and the kind of host that makes everyone he meets feel good.

I had a great time staying at Jesse's and Erin's place. We shared tacos, wine, couchsurfing wisdom, and went to a small but excellent concert which I enjoyed a lot. They live in a nice neighborhood with creative people, especially in the corner houses ;) Jesse and Erin are great hosts who are always welcome at my place.

Jesse hosted me along with 2 other surfers who were also in Boston. He took us out to food, drink and music in Harvard Square and to a CS meetup somewhere else in town. He was an excellent guide to the city/host and I definitely enjoyed my time there. Oh, and the key is on its way back!

Jesse and Erin are so great! They took us around showed us boston and even found time to cook a meal for us! Can't wait for them to come out to the chi for some more rock band moments!

Jesse hosted me for 2 nights. Both, him and his fiancee Erin were really nice, totally helpful and laid-back. It is obvious that they already have a lot of CS-host-experience.

 

Jesse was so genuinely nice, easy going and laid back. My only regret is not being able to spend a little more time getting to know him and Erin...still, we had some good laughs and conversation! :)

Jesse gave us a home for three days. Unfortunately Erin und him had to work a lot. Hopefully I'll get to know them better next time.

 

Although they had to work a lot, Jesse and Erin welcomed us pretty last minute at their place, we had some fun times playing wii and missing a big part of a really cool open mic night (sorry...).

I was couchsurfing in Boston for a couple of days with my girlfriend and two other friends which were hosted by Jesse so we had the opportunity to hang out a bit. It was nice to meet Jesse even though we didn't have time to know each other very well he seems to me a very nice and outgoing guy.

Jesse is a very nice person, very kind and available. We visit the city with him and Laura (that came to Boston with me). I have really enjoyed my stay in Boston!

Jesse was a great host, he let us crash in last minute although his room was already full of couchsurfers. we had a great time with him in boston and he's unbeatable in fake bowling!

 

Jessy hosted me for a couple of days. He is a very good person. He took us to visit the city and offered me wonderful breakfasts! Really recommended!

Jessy has a good experience with this project and I could not have imagined a more welcoming person...first couch I surfed and would definitely recommend it!

Jesse and Erin hosted me for 3 nights in January 2008. It was my first CS experience and it was a great one!

They have a very nice apartment in a convenient location near to public transport, supermarkt etc. While they had to work during the day we hang around together for three evenings: CS meeting, BBQ dinner, meeting friends, Nintendo Wii...

I hope my future CS will be as good as this one!

 

Almost hosted, but Jesse made sure I wasn't sleeping in the airport. Jesse's place is no longer about host. Its about his WII game console. They are very friendly and open and makes you feel welcome. Well located place in walking distance to two T stops. I am sure I will make it out again when its warm and snow-less

 

Our initial host could not take us at the last minute so Jesse and Erin welcomed us into their nice home for 2 nights, lovely and very laid back couple they really blew my expectations, hosting 3 girls and a sick puppie while working. I can't wait to host them!!

 

Me and my 3 friends had a very nice time with Jesse and his girlfriend. We all had our own sleep place, felt very comfortable and were really suprised by Jesses readiness to help. Thanks a lot!

Jesse's great, he hosted me for so long, we had lots of fun together, watched the world series -Sox won!-, he cooked nice food, we drank good beers, he found a job for me!!! (I am paying back this incredibly huge favor by being his work slave) AND he pretty much gave me (ie sold for a really good price) computer, stereo, desk, bed, etc. and helped me move it to my new place!

Jesse is a really nice guy. My brother and I stayed with him for a few days, and had a really pleasant experience. He has a big heart and is so very easy-going.

I surfed Jesse's couch one hot day of September, unfortunately for a tricky amount of coincidences I copuld only reach his house after dinner and had to leave in the morning, but I must say that Jesse gave me 1st class hospitality, making me comfortable and sharing his stories and bits of life, enjoying good wine and cold beer with the other two australian guests he had. I slept in a double bed, like a king! I regret i could only spend one day in Boston as i discovered a great city with great couchsurfers, but still this doesn't mean I won't be coming back! I hope to see you in Italy Jesse! Thank you very much!

Even though Jesse couldn't host me he was down to meet up which we did at a rally about legalizing MJ, we enjoyed the music then mosied to his place for drinks then on to Eli's for more drinks, company, and porch tokin. It was an all around good time with him!

I met Jesse at a gathering of couchsurfers over 6 months ago, and we shared common interests and had an enjoyable time in Boston. I couchsurfed with the people he ended up couchsurfing with, and I said to myself I've got to leave this guy a good reference Tomorrow. Next time I'm in Boston, it's good to know I'll have friends already there. It feels as if I've known all these great people for years - not just days.

Despite having plans to go away, already hosting two people and the last-minute nature of my request, Jesse was incredibly generous in offering me a couch for the night. His care left me in no doubt that he sees couchsurfing as more than just somewhere to crash, but an opportunity to get to know people.

What can I say? You led me on a dance of a lifetime in the middle of a lightning storm. Jesse and Erin were wonderful hosts! They were very accomodating. They were fun to hang out with and they offered to show us around, get us tourist info. and we all went out to eat a few times. They even let me make a huge mess in their kitchen cooking dinner! But they also allowed us space and privacy to find our way around the city and explore. It was a really great expirience.

 

Jesse was an amazing guest, lovely conversation and my only regret was to see him leave the next day to Montréal... I'm still waiting for the perfect occasion to crack open the bottle of champagne he gave me as a present! Maybe a trip to Boston would be the perfect opportunity?

Jesse (and Erin) are both very fun people...They are totally laid back and easy to be comfortable around...Gwen and I stayed with them for 2 nights and got shown the best burrito joint ever, played kickball with some friendly neighborhood couchsurfers and friends, and drank pitchers at a dive bar...If you are fortunate enough to be hosted by these two kind souls, be sure to get in before the partying begins otherwise you'll miss out on a damn good time...

Met them at first in Maine, then they surfed our couch. For the little time we spent with them we can tell that they are very generous and caring people, gonna have to go to Boston to rock it out with them somtime!!!! Jesse and I met at the St-Jean meeting in Quebec and then despite being exhausted from the party he generoulsy drove us all back to Montréal - it was very much appreciated!! Then more parties in Montréal and he stayed in my house here and we had a nice chat in the morning. I can now proudly say I know the 8th person to sign up on CS!!! He obviously does a lot for the program and despite being in it a few years already I learned a lot from talking to him about this ever interesting organisation!! Hopefully our paths will cross again man!

This was my first time on couchsurfing and I was really nervous. The second I walked into Jesse's and Erin's house, however, all my worries were gone.

They are two of the sweetest, most caring and reliable people I have met and they are amazingly generous. And lots of fun!

They didn't just treat me as someone who was crashing on their couch, but we hung out all the time, cooked together (well, Jesse cooked and we drank ;) ), went out and just had a blast.

Jesse came all the way from Boston and I had the chance to meet him on this amazing week end! I wish we had talked even more, but hopefully we'll have this opportunity when setting up the Boston CS Invasion. See you soon!

 

Meeting Jesse in person after having interacted with him from NZ was AWESOME..he is a smart, funny guy who works hard for CS and I am happy to have finally had a chance to catch up with him.
He is a lot of fun and has some great ideas for CS..I am sure we will meet again somewhere..:)

Jesse has a very positive outlook towards life which is very infectious.Beside a good friend he is extremely kind person. I have known Jesse and Erin for 3 years now and always have great time hanging out with them.

It was wonderful to meet Jesse and his girlfriend at the several Couch Surfing meet ups in NYC this past weekend. Looking forward to spending more time with them in the future!

I shared a host with Jesse and Erin in NYC. It was great to get to meet and spend so much time with them. We partied late, waited around for trains, and tried Cuban food. I'm glad we got to chat so much. He is a friendly and fun guy.

It was great meeting Jesse at the meet up in NYC. He is really nice and a very genuine soul. Not only is he a great couch surfer, he also knows how to get down in the club. Cheers!

 

I learned a lot in our short time together and I wish we would have more of a chance to talk - but ladies beware: this man's a D-A-N-C-E-R!!! We had a blast!

 

Jesse and Erin are terrific guests and all around good people. We shared an amazing weekend of CS picnics and parties that refused to end as we connected with lovely people from all over the world. We also had some great conversations about CS, and New York City, and life. Looking forward to more, guys!

Jesse is really cool. Very laid back, friendly and funny. Of course you all probably already know that... I'm pretty sure everyone in the world has couch surfed at he and Erin's place, hahaha!

 

Jesse seeps the essence of CS out of his pores... initially, it's a little disconcerting, but then you grow to love it! Seriously though, Jesse is a cornerstone of this community and I consider myself highly fortunate to have become his friend.

Jesse is really nice guy! He's also a good cooker! I met him at CS party near porter sq. Even though,we had a short conversation because I had to leave early but I sensed that he's supercool man. Hey, I love your sangria!! :)

Jesse took time out to take me around Boston and do the sightseeing plus him and Erin took me to some of their friends party. He is a good guy and I truly enjoyed my stay. if you like dives, have him take you to the razzle - my new favourite spot in Boston.

 

Jesse and I met while I was couchsurfing in Boston. He is extremely sweet. I hope we can meet up again; I think it was you amazing CSers who made me fall in love with Boston! :)

 

I met Jesse when I surfed with Eli Barnes in Boston, April 2007, and we went out on Saturday night to meet some other members of the couchsurfing community. Jesses brother is amazingly the FOUNDER of couchsurfing, and it was AMAZING hearing the story about the version 2.0 and the big crash and everything first hand form Jesse! I hope to see you again next time I'm in Boston dude!

 

Jesse is a great guy to have lunch with. We met in Cambridge at a Cafe and talked about CouchSurfing and life. I look forward to our next meeting.

I met Jesse at a couchsurfing party and he is a great, friendly guy! I hope to see him at more events!

Jesse is just a great and funny guy who is an excellant cook and brings the best black bean dip ever. If you have an opportunity strike up a converasation with Jesse I would do so.

Both him and his girlfreiend seem like wonderful people and I hope living in Boston myself that we will hang out again in the near future!

How can it not be extremely positive!?! It's Jesse! I wish, of course that I was able to spend more time with Jesse (and Erin). He is an interesting person, with much insight into CS. Through our conversations together I have become not only more aware of CS, but more motivated to participate in an ambassadorial role in my part of the world. Jesse and Erin were awesome to stay with! They were very accommodating to my girlfriend and I as we vacationed in Boston. They have a private room for guests with a nice big air mattress and like to hang out and chat. If you are a fitness buff, they have a bowflex, an elliptical machine, and a lot of videos to workout with. Great couchsurfing hosts.

 

We spent a couple of nights on Jesse and Erin's ginormous air mattress in scenic and snowy Somerville. Jesse and Erin are fabulous hosts - we felt totally comfortable and welcome. Jesse made a fantastic breakfast our first morning there, and we enjoyed getting to hang out with them a couple of times. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making our spring break more chill and fun!

 

I was able to meet him while camping in some of the most beautiful wilderness that I have ever seen. He has also helped out on the show a bit, and I look forward to the time that we will be able to get to know each other even better.

 

Him and Erin were extra fun to play pool with!! A game of pool while talking and drinking beer, with around 30 people from the group!!!

Because he is so important, I let him win (hahaha YEAAAAAH RIIIIIGHT).... seriously, he is a good pool player, and Erin was playing very good too!! we definitely had NO chance against them!!!

 

Jesse and Erin have this great habit of randomly showing up in places I'm at...and I love it! These two are a lot of fun to be around. You guys rock!

Jesse was another of the Boston crowd that replied to my post in the Boston group. I finally got to meet up with some CS'ers in another country (my 1st time despite hosting 46 people in the last 6 months). It was great to meet up with some others in their town. The famous Jesse and Erin took me under their wing the minute I stepped off the plane. They are such hospitable, friendly people. They took me to this great restaurant in Somerville called Redbones where we got completely wasted and stuffed ourselves with catfish fingers, awesome night :)

ChineseAustin: We still joke that Jesse went walking around with his luggage and got picked up en-route by some fellow Cser that I invited for an evening meal at the flat. How we met is not important, but the quality mojitos that Jesse knocked up was awesome. A guy, who seems to always be working on a CS idea, he is really interesting and can hold his conversation. The infamous flat wall of messages contains words from the hand of an official CS creator. Hope to catch you in “Beantown” some time in the near future.

 

jesse, me and a friend of mine met up with davina and steve in london for an incredible dinner at the bell house. sexy chicken... if you have to ask you haven't tried it!

 

I didn't need to stay with Jesse to make sure that he's a very hospitable and genuinly nice guy. I also didn't need to meet him in person to realise that he's a cool friend that I like spending time with. However, staying with him at Boston was a fantastic experience and a pleasure that you only get when you realise you had such a great friend so far!

Hosted Jesse for a fun weekend in London during his holiday to Europe - we manage to have one of the longest weekend by clubbing and just having a blast. We had great chats on anything CS, personal and lots of jokes. See you soon.

Jesse is a great host! My friend and I couchsurfed at his place for 4 nights. The first night we had dinner together at an amazing Tapa's resturant. He made sure we could find our way around Boston and he made delicious fresh drinks for us. Erin is also so wonderful!! We hope to see them again. I highly recommend them.

 

Jesse & Erin were warm friendly faces in the woods & at the Collective this summer. I loved meeting & talking to them & hope that knowing them brings me back to Boston a few more times!

I stayed with Jesse and Erin in Boston for 3 days with 3 other couchsurfers from Montreal. They were really welcoming, accommodating, friendly, etc. etc. etc. They showed us around, gave us advice, invited us to a party...It was a pleasure to meet them, and we'll probably meet again in Montreal.

Thunder storm was the first thing that greeted me in Boston.
Though I liked it much better when Jesse came to pick me up at the metro station in spite of how late it was that night.
When Jesse set up a super cozy queen sized blow-up bed for me in the guest room, I saw a moment when my vision swaying and nearly fell a sleep right on the spot!!
When Jesse and Erin took me to a nearby Sushi restaurant on the next day, we went for Japanese grocery shopping and that was a lot of fun!!
Although my stay was short in Boston, Jesse and Erin provided a haven for me to relax and rejuvenate before hitching up to Burlington, VT and to Montréal.
I appreiate their generousity and hospitality very much, and I am looking forward to seeing them on the road again...
