JJ Muzacz

J's good reputation was known to me before I even met him, and deservedly so. He is a stand-up guy with a strong sense of what is good for Earth, the Environment, and those with whom he shares it. Upbeat and motivated, he attracts really good people to himself, making him and his friends a 'must experience' in Austin, Texas; or coming soon to a couch near you. Thanks very much J, had a ball!

 

Three young beatniks on the Road to NYC, spent a night with me and a French couple. Felt like old times as we got out to hit a few clubs while riding in their white Roadship across the town. Forgive the labels, they are just talents I observed. JJ is Visual Artist, Jacob is a Music Composer, and Tom is a quiet wordsmith. It is good to see some authentic souls with a beatnik ethos.

 

After exchanging emails for ages, J and I finally managed to meet in Mui Ne Vietnam. J was even more dynamic and as engaging as I had expected and in turn was super inspiring with his art work and genuinity. Its a pity we didn't have longer to hang out but I hope to cross paths with him in the future, particularly if he makes it back to 'Nam or when I get to Austin.

j is a beautiful spirit... an artistic, easy-going human. he is fun, sweet and interesting. he accepts people as they are and situations as they come. i very much hope to meet up with him again on my travels.

I've seen spraypainting (graffiti,) and I've seen people, but I've never seen anyone spraypainting people. Until I met J!
When he moves on from Korea, I'm planning on crashing on his couch (so don't move to Antarctica, J!)

Thrillz were in the spillz as I witnessed some krunk kustomizing before a kalbi adventure with JJ, some kool Koreans and Kliff.

At first I thought that perhaps my trousers weren't baggy enough for the occasion. Fortunately, it didn't become an issue.

I hope to meet up with the team again soon...

Jay is one of my sweet adventure buddies! I love that he is always up for anything, whether it be 4 in the morning row boat rides or moss searching excursions.. you´re the scrub a dub dub in the tub, hope to galavant with you again someday ;)

JJ is a dude. He was humming with energy and good vibes. Stayed just one night and bailed super-early, but I can still heartily recommend him as an outstanding specimen of humanity.

I met JJ at South Korea CS meeting. We didn't have enough time to talk together then, but he sent me e-mail and visited me. We enjoyed good conversation at this time. He is really friendly and laid-back. I had a good time with him. And I'm looking forward to seeing you in Seoul or the US!!

After reading J's profile and sending messages back and forth, i was prepared to meet a dude down with urban culture and music that is mentally hip-hop smoothed out on the r&b tip with a pop appeal. but i got much more when i found this guy to be an inspiration not only to me, but to the community he lives in. it's always exciting to meet someone with such a clear vision and understanding of what's important in life, and he's managed to find a place where he's surrounded by like-minded individuals. don't visit seoul without letting j and friends add some reflective fun to your life, balanced with lots of humour and nonsense to keep things light, and make you feel like home..

j is the mellowest guy you'll find and a caring guide to many couchsurfers. plus anyone in a band that calls themselves the hogaardeners is just cool.

J is a really cool guy and one of the nicest people you can ever meet. Topyeong Dong represent!

 

JJ was really hospitable, and nothing was ever a problem. The Gurian fam are a good crowd as well, and made me feel right at home early on. JJ's also a man of many talents which bodes well for his guests - whether it be spontaneous roof jams or post moonblues breakfasts. Keep putting that good out there man!

J is one of the most loving, generous and creative people i have ever know. he'll change your life.

Short stay, but wonderful! After a 9 hour flight, JJ whipped me back into shape with a long, cozy night's sleep, a morning hike with fresh mountain water and clear air, and a breakfast of...well...better than champions! He should call it the Jet Lag Special! But he was more than just a good host. We didn't spend much time together, but it doesnt take long to see how open, creative, and energizing he is...with an awesome variety of music! I hope I'll get to see you again JJ, you are always welcome in France!

I have worked with J at Guri SLP in South Korea. He is great to work with and recently he went out of his way to help out a friend when I was out of town and my friend was visiting in Korea. J is a fun wild artistic guy who brings a positive creative energy anywhere he goes and to anything he does.

JJ slash(er) Jajin is easy going, cool, warm, silly, smart, fun and funny. he giggles like a baby girl. and he definitely beats some drums.

What a time we had J, your presence is a beautiful thing with a dose of wisdom and a splash of old-soulness. Living many lives...there is much to learn from you...doing great things for humankind...he is making a difference in this World. Nothing else to say...

JJ is probably one of the coolest guys we've met on couchsurfing so far. He's incredibly chilled out and has fantastic stories to tell. He's an amazing artist, so make sure you ask to see some of his work. As well, we love his respect for mother earth. He's fantastic company and exactly the type of person we dig. Ga-danga-danga-danga.

it was a pleasure meeting Jay at our NYE party. his calm spirit, sweet personality and clever humor made it, not only comfortable to be near him but, lots of fun too. hosting him is something i'd happily do again. ... and he helped clean up the NYE aftermath!

 

I met J while traveling in Korea. He amazed me with his eclectic talents and interests. I appreciate his altruistic artistic pursuits and look forward to seeing some of his artwork someday.

Spending time with J is like eating fresh, ripe pineapple on the beach with your bare feet buried in the not-too-hot but rather just right sand. And there is lots of healthy vegetation around. The sun is bright and your eyes are like jelly beans.

I finally found a CouchSurfing chef!!! Woo-hoo!!! He was so cool, I even let him have a bowl of my homemade -- big-island-beef -- pho. This signature Vietnamese dish takes 5 hours to make, so I only share it with super-cool food snobs like Jay. Jay drew me a beautiful painting of an i'iwi with a kokio ke'oke'o. =)

J is the most kick ass creative cool spray painting artistic stencil stylin urban beautifying mural master designing time giving unselfish caring dumpster diving carefree fool I know!

 

J is always a fun person to be around, he spreads an infectious smile that brightens anyones day! He's got some mad spray paint skills too :)

j is great person that everyone should know. he is very active within the community and has lots of great ideas on how to make the world a better place and unlike most people he actualizes his ideas. he is very honest and inspiring.

Jay and his room mates are very cool and there all artists from one genre or another, which means the house is chilled, plus they let me stay an extra couple of nights while i waited to leave for the rainbow gathering which is always cool. Peace & Love

we unfortunately did not meet him, but the rest of his roomates were awesome! they took great care of us and showed us the good places to go. A great bunch, open minded and friendly. thank you guys!

J is the host with the most! We stayed at the co-op, we rode Nosy the Dinosaur, we had bikes, paint, and oh so much food. J is a great cook, and a super fun mellow fellow who lives with equally dope room-mates. If you get the chance, stay there.

J is artsy brilliant, a green-thumb extraordinaire, and incredibly kind, Earth-friendly, and so much positive else to boot. I was too young to get into a bar with the rest of the house-group (amazing roomies too, by the way), so J showed me around town, we chewed sugar-snap peas off the plants in his lovely wonderful front yard veggie garden, and talked--- and laughed--- tons. J rocks!

He is a great guest. Don't miss him!
