Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I travel sometimes. I just moved into a much nicer apartment, so I'm now hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In March 2009 I stayed at Hostel International in DC and had a great time with travelers from all over the world. South Americans can dance like nobody's business!
Chicago was, for lack of a better word, trippy.
Toronto has never let me down.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked from Georgia to Maine! I helped a stray dog, slept in a school bus, and appreciated living without excess. Hiker hostels are the most friendly places in the world.
I helped break the world record for largest kayak flotilla, ran six marathons, fundraised for MS by riding 150 miles to Erie (three times!), completed the Pittsburgh (sprint) Triathlon, sailboated on the Charles River in Boston, and slept on Lake Michigan and Huron.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to learn how to better utilize my time. I can teach a thing or two about lightweight backpacking.
