John Oberg

John was a very nice boy. We had a lovely time walking around Tulsa as he snapped pictures like a Japanese tourist.

 

John was a great guest, friendly and outgoing. We all hung out and watched movies, napped a bit, and then enjoyed some yummy dinner. It was like enjoying a cozy night with friends.

 

John and his pal from Michigan were two cool guys. I had a lot of fun hanging out with them!

If ever you guys find yourself back in Tulsa, give us a ring-a-ling! There are a lot more wonderful things about Tulsa for you to enjoy!

John and his friend Pierce surfed our couch for a night. My roommate Levin and I had a fun time showing them a little bit of Texas. They were amazing guys and just awesome surfers!!

He was a great guest. We had some good times.

I never had the chance to thank u for hosting all of us in your girlfriend´s house the experience there was very nice and crazy in a good way I would never forget the time that 40 people were in your house. You made everything you could to show us around Detroit and I appreciate that. The time was not enough but you and your girlfriend were exceptional and kind

John is a good guy - he came out to my show with some friends and was a friendly host and was cool when I had to show up late. I guess he is moving soon but definitely a safe/cool dude all around, and his cat Scoop is awesome too.

John is a very cool guy with a serious good taste in music. He is very energetic and positive all the time. I definitely enjoyed his personality and friendliness.

He is good guys and he knows how to make good mood for enjoyment. I am sure he has a positive mind and ability of attracting people for good things.

He is fantastic guy!!! He knows how to entertain and enjoy. I stayed his house with 12volunteers for 3days. It was awesome. We've learned real american culture. haha... I'll never forget precious moments in his house. Thx !!

John is a very good guy.
He hosted me and 12 volunteers that works with me in Michigan on his apartment. Was a very good weekend.
He is friendly and gentle, and also a little bit crazy, you can see this cause he host 13 people at the same time.
I recommend John to anyone who meet him, and also Thanks so much John for the great time!

 

A great guy and truly a unique individual I can basically guaruntee even if you end up surfing his couch in that horribly boring town you will still have a great time!

 

we just met each other playing soccer a rainy hamburg wednesday night. didn't talk to much but it was really cool having you in our team ;) take care dude!

John is a heavy metal fan. He still likes cats though :) I hope that youre getting well soon and taht you can really enjoy your time left in Berlin.

John is a great guy, who knows a lot about music (he won the first prize at the Rock-Quiz in a bar here in Hamburg!)and who loves soccer (pretty uncommon for an american!)! I can highly recommend to surf with this guy!

I had a great time hosting him for 3 days. He is open for adventures (like throwing banana peels at cars from the 13th floor and jumping from cliffs!), very polite and friendly, and made my day better.

John O is a wicked dude!!! At last someone I could listen to Maiden with >:). He's a very open minded individual and his travel experience is damn broad! It was a pleasure hosting him. Just have food ready...lots of it and be sure not to miss a football game with this true enthusiast ;)!!!

John has backpacking down to a fine art. I haven't met another traveller that can pack like that guy! A real nice bloke and i would have liked to hangout with longer in BCN.

John is great person, funny and interesting. I enjoyed with him when he was in Split. But I think that football (soccer) is not for American guys...but he is Swedish guy...;)))

John is great traveller (avoiding touristic places - such a good idea). Besides, he became a good player in... oh, i have already forgotten name of this game :))

john is a fun person to hang out with. i enjoyed the time with him, watching football ( ....schlaand) , screaming in the streets, dancing to "put your hands up for detroit" and playing "schulz".
although he wears my cloth all the time.....and when i get them back, they were stains with kebap, currywurst and toothpaste on it...;)

John is a nice guy with a passion for football. He is real helpful around the house and got along fine with everyone. A shame that I didn't have much time to get to know him better.

Very positive guy, openminded and full of energy!

Very easygoing and funny guy. Stayed here for 4 days. Trustworthy.

 

I had very pleasant stay at my home eating all that fish, reindeer sausages, -bratwurst and potatoes John took to my home when he arrived :) John is a really fun and relaxed guy and it was my pleasure to host him. Too bad I had to work so much but at least I had the time to go to Suomenlinna with John and it was very much fun except of those birds :) I strongly recommend to host this true budget traveller :)

I was really too busy to be a good host. We didn't even have the time to talk very much, I was working and sleeping the whole time =(
But he seemed really cool and it would be fun to hang oaround sometime.

I hosted John and I've shown him around in the centre of Amsterdam. We still mail each other, because I want to know how the rest of his backpacking journey will go.

If you ever get the opportunity to host John, I think you should, because he's a really nice guy, with lots of hair.

John is a patient, flexible, and easy going person.

John stayed at my place for a weekend. I regret being a bit too busy to really hang around with him, because he is an awfully nice chap! He's really conversational, friendly and great fun.
