ABOUT ME

Hey! Well these descriptions are always a bit tricky...but I guess a brief description of me would include my insatiable hunger for crazy and 'out there' travels and experiences, where I can do things as different from what I'm used to as possible. This has lead me from eating chicken embryos in the middle of the mountains of Cambodia with a couple of Khmer guys to feeding crocodiles in Thailand with (quite possibly) the nicest family in Bangkok without forgetting other things such as crawling around amongst bats in caves, microlight flying over the Mekong River and various other things that I will tell you about when we meet up.

Drop me a line if you want to find out the rest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed through Japan back in February '08 and it was an amazing experience. It reminds you that people are still fundamentally good and opens your head even more (I mean, you have to be pretty open minded to be in CS in the first place anyway). Couchsurfing through that crazy country was a key part of why I had such a wonderful time and it has cemented my idea that couchsurfing is THE way to travel if you're going solo.

Interests

Main passion -Travelling to very different countries from my own and being the only foreigner for miles around so that I can inmerse myself in their culture properly (a bit of an expensive hobby, I know) Cheaper Hobbies- Capoeira, rugby, scuba diving, watching films with friends, having lazy summer days just lying down on the grass soaking up the sun with more friends and just feeling the warmth melt away all possible coherent thought out of your mind, going out partying and dancing the night away while meeting new people....things of that sort
