Personal DescriptionMy business is happiness! I love smiling and I love making other people smile! That's the most important bit about me, but if you want to know more, read on: I spent 6.5 years in college/university chasing different science topics - whichever amazed me at the time. In the end, the university said, "Listen Mr. Judkins, how 'bout we just give you a degree in 'General Science'?" I worked for five years doing hazardous waste disposal and refining my world-saving skills in an effort that led to joining the Peace Corps. I spent two years in Bulgaria as an environmental education volunteer, which further developed my passion for development. After Peace Corps, I organized and implemented a mission of global, cultural understanding in an effort to spread peace like peace has never been spread before! I just finished grad school in Costa Rica, where I studied the unique and complex dynamics of natural resources and peace! Now I'm home and excited to begin a new adventure! How I Participate in CSI'm using Couchsurfing for different cultural exhange opportunities, for my own personal growth and enjoyment as well as to supplement my Supercross08 project of international understanding and peace through dialogue.InterestsI'm interested in travel, volunteering for community and personal development, and cross cultural exhanges! My other interests are running and being active, as well as science and nature!PhilosophyI'm too busy chasing my passions to be burdened with living up to my potential! Music, Movies, BooksHitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Alchemist, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Cosmos, On the Road, Catch-22Types of People I enjoyI enjoy happy people who smile!Teach, Learn, ShareIf you can make someone feel good, then you're doing something right! One Amazing Thing I've Seen or DoneIn 2001 my left lung spontaneously collapsed and a third of it had to be removed by surgery. I fought back against my body and have achieved a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo and ran the Athens Marathon in 4:10:15!
