About Me
CURRENT MISSION
currently to get some money saved up so I can travel again!!
ABOUT ME
Im from a small in southern BC where I currently spend my summers working as a beekeeper and my winters travelling the world. I graduated from highschool in 2010 and have spent some time living and hitchhiking in Australia and also backpacking and learning spanish in Central America. I'm leaving to travel again mid october though I'm still not entirely sure to where.
I am surely not your typical 20 year old girl, and really, im not your typical anything. I am passionate about life and am what some may call chronically optimistic. I can see the good in almost any situation and am a very happy in my life overall. Im the kind of person that loves to push the limit and I love working towards goals and learning new skills. There arent many things I wouldnt be willing to try at least once.
I dream big and live big, but I try to keep my needs small. I believe that if you follow your dreams and really truly listen to your heart, living with compassion and care for the earth and those around you, that everything will be provided for you and more.
PHILOSOPHY
"Don't worry about what the world wants from you, worry about what makes you come more alive. Because what the world really needs are people who are more alive. Your real job is to increase the color and zest of your life."
-Lawrence LeShan
"Do what you want and say what you feel because those you mind dont matter, and those who matter dont mind."
-Dr. Seuss
"Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.
-Rumi
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
can't host at the moment as I live with my father, but I am more than glad to meet up if I'm not working and we'll figure out something to do. I'll be travelling again Mid October and will get a chance to meet up with or stay with some people then.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed though this website only once, but have stayed with several people I met hitchhiking and I must say that it's an amazing thing to do. It really gives you an opportunity to connect with the local people on a totally different level and really makes you believe in the human spirit!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed up volcan tajamulco in Guatemala for the sunset, but it was really cloudy and foggy everywhere, so we didnt think we would see much, but then, just as the sun was starting to set, all the clouds just blew away and exposed the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. We were high above cloud level and it felt like we were in the heavens looking down.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you wanna know about beekeeping, Im more than keen to help you out, or how to ride a motorcylce, or how to ice skate, or if you have questions about gay or LGBT people, im openly gay and love sharing so could probably answer some questions.
There are tons of things I would love to learn about including languages, musical instruments (harmonica anybody?), art, anything sustainability related, gardening, how to grow sprouts properly... whatever!!
