Couch Information

No couch currently available for surfing.

~ I live in the city center, 10 minutes walking from the cathedral (Duomo), easy access to almost every transport mean to almost every place.

~ I live with my parents, I'm an only child.

This is what I can offer:

-1- a "puff" that can be opened and becomes a single bed, placed in a study, former my own room: it has a personal bathroom and access to the balcony.
-2- a bed in my own actual room, that comes out from under my bed. The main differences between this and the previous accommodation are that this mattress is much softer than the other, as it's made of wool, and you would sleep ~50cm far from me. If you want to talk before sleeping it's good, if you prefer privacy the puff's yours :)

~Another important thing is that I can host generally just for one night, two at most, but no longer than that. I added this when I realized that many CSers asked from 4 days to even a week, which is out of question, sorry :)

Interests

Photography and music. Nearly all of my best friends play at least an instrument. Everything can come from it: take a guitar on a beach, or in a park, and you'll know what I mean :)

Music, Movies, Books

~Music: any kind, from rap to jazz, from classical to gothic metal. What I can't appreciate even when I try to is hardcore, with just a few exceptions. What I used to prefer was general rock (Led Zeppelin, Queen and so on) and experimental rock (Dream Theater etc).
Actually lately I'm also listening to a bit of funk, thrash and black metal, and I'm re-discovering Radiohead, Will Oldham and Ben Lee. And Dresden Dolls, Quintorigo, The Bloodhound Gang.

I'm getting fond of techno, goa\psy\trance, electronic and minimal.
For new year's eve I went to a huge techno\minimal party in Rome calle "Amore 2009" and it was great :)

Anyway I guess that my favorite singers are Jeff Buckley, Elliot Smith, Bright Eyes, Modest Mouse, Jack Johnson and Nick Drake.

BTW here's my LastFM profile:
http://www.lastfm.it/user/Kjn_Wds

~Books: I read a lot, both in Italian and in English, from Salinger to Asimov, I prefer science-fiction novels: I just *love* P. K. Dick (A scanner Darkly<--the film is OUTSTANDING, Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheeps, Ubik etc)
I love Banana Yoshimoto's novels, Daniel Pennac, Isabel Allende, Luis Sepùlveda, Gerald Durrel - when I was way younger than I am I read nearly all of his books =) (...)

~Movies: I'm very fond of Charlot, I have almost the complete filmography of Kubrick and Woody Allen + Walt Disney's (WHO doesn't love Disney's =D !!?). I generally prefer science fiction but I also love action films (i have seen every single 007s) and in general comedies.
Some films I loved:

Guido is awesome! Great singer and guitar player, avid bicycle rider, very accommodating host. Meet this guy if you get a chance to!

He also let me stay one extra night and gave me a lift to the bus station at 4am. What a gentleman! :)

Guido! How was your trip to the islands?
Anyways, we were happy to host this clever & cheerful fellow, even tough the conditions weren't the best: he was sick, we were busy. But we managed to party some, listen to a lot of good music, sauna etc.

Hey man. Sorry for that hacker attack :D It was not my fault believe me..okay maybe heheeeh but i had to check my mails frequently. Concerning my stay it was great. I have been hosted by Guido in the beginning of my trip to Africa and we had a great time together over an excellent glass of wine (didn't forget the 3 euros:). Very interesting and friendly guy, wanna get to know him better, i will host him in Budapest pretty soon. Just to get another point of view beside the 'Buda hills by night' =)

After being introduced by a mutual CS friend, we all spent an evening dining with knights and dragons, sneaking Lindt chocolate, and getting drenched in the rain! Guido seems like a really fun guy, and I certainly hope to see him again soon in Milano!

What a smily and funny guy! I met him when I was in Perugia with Britt and Maurizio. Guido came with us at the Eurochocolate 2006 and we all enjoied Lindt chocolate and a good medievale food. That's sure that he can make everybody laugh. If you are looking for someone to show you Milano, he will probably a good touristic guide.
Grazie Guido you make me laugh :)
